Anyone any experience with affiliate-marketing-school.com

Hi All,

I am in the process of getting rid of all my sniper type sites as they just bombed after the google Zoo animal changes, and am going to get into CPA full time...Have done the main courses and on one of them this network was 3rd on the list The Affiliate Marketing School - Home.

They accepted me no problem which worries me slightly for a start...all ready been knocked back from Clickbooth Network and Im awaiting feedback from a few others.

I just really wanted to know if anyone has any experience with them or any advice of which networks people have found the best and easiest to get into!?

When i first started out 2 years ago it was a toss up between CPA and sniper type sites....guess i chose wrong then!!

Luckily i have some profitable SEO sites that make me a bit ( SEO-Spot ( is one and a few others, both in my Sig and i have a an ad on here so im sure its ok to mention.

anyway back to CPA....any advice to get that first campaign going and about the site mentioned on this thread...they seem very relaxed, and your manager is called your 'headmaster' which i thought sounded a bit cultish

Thanks in Advance!

I used to be a "headmaster" there in 2004 to 2006, that was before the owner threw me out because I started my PPC Coach site back in 2007.

Also their forum is copyright phpBB 2005 LOL. I'm surprised it hasn't been hacked into oblivion already!

I don't know the place, but I'll put it this way: Judging from the site, I wouldn't sign up.

          A couple good CPA Networks:
RevenueAds (these guys rock, they put me up in a hotel for their meetup, and hung out with us in London during AdTech)
          Convert2Media
          Neverblue

You might have a hard time joining some of the bigger ones at first... don't give up! Get your foot in the door at one place and get some campaigns going and you'll be able to get into the others.

Both berz and badboynick are affiliate managers (they call them headmasters) at AMS (Affiliate Marketing School). Like most affiliate managers they get paid a commission on affiliate's earnings. Nothing wrong with that, but there should be more transparency here, especially when some are trying to recruit more affiliates.

"- they pay in full and always on time
                  - their CPA offers are unbeatable. They specialize in financial products for the UK market - life insurance , PMI , loans etc
                  - they provide free one on one training"

The look of the AMS site is irrelevant, and it is a legit affiliate network, but there are several important "buts" here, before you should even consider them:
                  - They do pay on time and they specialise in UK finance lead generation offers. The affiliate managers do provide training, but it's not effectively "free" when you are earning for them.
                  - Some of the offers are capped, which means the lead quota can fill up very quickly, like in 2 hours. So you have to stop and start traffic, which is annoying. If you have no experience it's likely you will struggle to get any leads at all.
                  - UK finance is highly regulated. Very likely you will have to make regular changes to your site as rules keep changing. You have no control over this; it's based on UK law..
                  - They recommend PPC Search for paid traffic, which if you don't know is highly competitive for UK finance, i.e. it's very expensive to fully test a campaign to get profitable. Very easy to quickly burn through a budget of $100's or $1000's. So, not recommended for newbies.
