Is Stompernet Still In Existence?

When I first got started online, I think I joined Stompernet during the "Big" initial launch. The first year was great, 2nd year was ok, and 3rd year it started to go downhill (which is when I left).

I ran across someone I used to know in Stompernet and asked if they were still affiliated. They said they thought they were technically still moderators (or something), but that they hadn't heard anything from them in months. Didn't even know if they were still operating.

Anyone know? The website looks like it's still in business, but even Brad Fallon's linkedin profile lists him as President of Uqast.

After I posted this thread I thought to myself that the original launch was about 6 years ago and maybe people new to the industry wouldn't remember it.

I guess that was the case! If there are no members on the WF, it's probably not still going.

I remember all that hyped up Stompernet business.

Boy am I glad we don't see many of those launches anymore.

Stompernet was a pretty masterful launch, but I think it was the peak of the "launch bubble". The one thing that really always puzzled me about Stompernet was how they got away from the original purpose. I think people would've been ok just learning from Brad/Andy with some special "teaching" from random select guests (how they did the original "Apprentice Program".

Instead, they kept adding more and more people to the staff that didn't seem to add much value.

But to your point, are launches pretty much a thing of the past now in IM? I haven't been paying much attention, but it definitely seems like it.

I still get emails from them on almost a daily basis, so either a bot is running things... hopefully not SKYstompNET, or somebody is still there pushing the Big Red Button each day.

I thank him for saving all of our lives.

Yeah, I still get emails from them too.

Their focus seems to be completely different to what it used to be when Andy Jenkins was with them.

      I hope that is sarcasm

Otherwise, you must not be on any lists or have an email swipe account.

I think my favorite of all time was like 7-8 years or so ago when that Cody Moya or some guy was giving away an ATV if you bought from his link... A few launches later I semi-recall him offering golf carts and cruises and some other crap. What a circus.

I think that he (not 100% sure that it was him on this one...) also blasted out to his list and told them that if they already bought the course being launched to get a refund and then rebuy thru his link to get his bonus. Ahahaha. Boy did that ruffle some feathers.

Ha. I remember Cody Moya. He gave a presentation at Stompernet and I couldn't really figure out if he was just a loose cannon or if it was the language barrier or something. But for a period after the stompernet launch, I'm almost positive he ranked number 1 for "Internet Marketing" so he must've been doing something right.

All the people that I knew that used to be in Stompernet don't appear to be there anymore so I'm assuming it kinda shut down. And I know a number of "success stories" that were completely decimated by Panda/Penguin.

Matter of fact, one of the guys that Brad/Andy worked with very closely was a guy named Dave Brandley. They worked with them to develop the link network that was included in the original stompernet membership. He sent out an email to people (like me) who were in the original Stompernet and basically said that Stompernet stopped making payments to support the program. So seems like a lot of bridges were burnt.

        What a circus indeed.

I also still get emails from them, I presume from an autoresponder. The first webcast I ever went to was with Vin Montello from Stompernet, he was awesome, so I subscribed. Not had much value from them, personally, since, though I'm not really their target audience as far as I can gather.
