Yes, Seattle Clouds is a monthly subscription and you will lose the app if you stop paying monthly. You do have the option of "buying out" your app for a one time fee of $250 for iPhone only or $600 for all iDevices and Android.

Hey guys I am looking for answers to this question as well. I have found a few services but as Dennis stated once your membership is up you lose your App and put your customers/clients in a bind. So does anyone know of any stand alone app building CMS that are good? Hey Amber if you know of any could you PM also, I'd appreciate any help from you fellow warriors...

But Skybuilder appears to be off the market right now. Can anyone confirm and is there a reason for this? I am coming close to purchasing Elite App Builder which looks great. Does anyone have a comparison between the two?

I haven't used Skybuilder, but I can tell you the differences:

Skybuilder is a web app builder. It does not build native apps from everything I've read. (Meaning, a person has to be connected to the internet to view the content in the apps).

Elite App Builder, CreateCoolApps and others are using the Seattle Clouds system but offering it at a cheaper price. (And of course more features)

Disclaimer: I own CreateCoolApps (which is also a WSO), and have had many members tell me about SB, and many of them have switched. (Others keep both).

Whilst skybuilder is better than when it was first released it still does not compare IMHO with other App builder platforms like BiznessApps and whitelabel versions of Seattle Clouds which are available at a much lower cost

Yes... I also agree that SC is the best platform and that is why we started - AppsMoment.com to make better prices, better service, more templates and monthly webinars.

Okay, after trying many different drag and drop app builders I'm still looking for the right one. I have some that I use for simple apps such as an app for a bar with menu and directions, ect... however, I have a client who wants an app for Android and Iphone that will allow users to search for a business in their area and be able to see / post reviews plus post pictures. For example, user searches for coffee shops in LA and finds a list of coffee shops in LA with a navigation and click to call for each. User can click any link and see reviews and or pictures. User can then upload a picture or write a review after visiting that coffee shop. This app would be very similar to the Yelp app. If anyone has any insight it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Well @Brad i think so its too late to reply on this thread, but may be some one i still looking for app building software in which no code required. There are man tools smartphone app building software available in the market like AppMakr, AppsBar, AppMachine, Google App Inventor etc...
