Best FREE 'Contact Us' email form software

Hi,

I want to add a 'Contact Us' page to a website. Basically, all I want is for a visitor to enter their name, email address and text.

What is the best FREE software to do this?

    If you're installing it on a wordpress site, I've found that Contact Form Manager is fairly easy to use.

    I am currently using MailChimp.com. As it is free but extremely software to collect all the data of my customers. You may try it.

    I don't think referencing Mailchimp is helping answer this question. The question is relate to sending a message via a contact form, not capturing leads. I have used the Wordpress plugin Contact Form 7 and it has worked well for me.

      I recently tried about 6 of the most popular free WP plugins for contact forms, and the one I found to be the best is one called "Trust Form." It's really, really easy to use, isn't buggy, works on every single theme I've tried and doesn't interfere with any other plugins I run.

    Thanks for everyone supplies.

    Sorry I didn't reply sooner - I'm currently in the south of Spain visiting my parents and we've just had they've just had the worst storm and flash floods in the region in over 30 years.

    Lost all power, mobile, electricity, internet and water.

    The services have all now been restored over the last few days - just got the mians water working today. Can't wait to have a hot shower.

    MailChimp can put up a custom form and collect a database. You can export the database, or use Mailchimp to send email blasts, up to 12,000 emails per month, free. Why would Mailchimp not be relevant to this question?

    There are several good contact us plugins for WP. Most of them generate a small code that you need to put into the Contact us Page. The advantage of using a Contact Us form is you don't need to mention your email address on your site, so it is protected against email scrapers and the tons of Spam you get after they found your email address.
