Affiliate Datafeed Profit System

Good day all,

I'm currently looking for reviews regarding the product Affiliate Datafeed Profit System 2. Also, would you consider creating affiliate datafeed sites profitable in this day and age.

I believe that this looks promising, but I'd really like to hear you opinions.

Frank

I have tried datafeeds in the past and made a few bucks. I just recently purchased the Affiliate Datafeed Profit System 2 to give datafeeds a try again. Here's what I think... Although the instructions clearly explain the features and use of the plugin, it doesn't seem to be presented in a step by step order. It assumes you already are familiar with getting your WordPress blog set up to be search engine friendly so the manual won't tell you how to do this. Currently, it's limited to using the datafeeds from ShareASale.com -- however, you can't complain too much about this because these datafeeds are free. It really does free you from having to mess with the raw datafeed. But it seems like it may not be precise enough for some users who want a tightly theme site. One thing that could be a problem is that ADPS2 requires FTP access of datafeeds (although you can download datafeed zip files from the ShareASale.com site and upload them directly into FEED folder of the plugin if you had to) and some merchants many not get around to granting you access so you may not find the types of products you want. Overall, it does function as described on the sales page. What you read is what you will get, it's still up to you to promote and drive traffic to your site.

Thanks for your post! Much appreciated. My question then is, (and you may have already in a roundabouts way answered it), do you think you will recoop your costs on the plugin in 30 days, 60 days, or 90 days upon profits made with this plugin and the products presented in the datafeeds? Reason I ask is that there is a lot of individuals who say that this type of business is dead because the big search engines won't rank this type of site.

Thanks and I really do appreciate your reply!

So one of my sites has been up for around 30 days and Google has 170 pages indexed
and my other website has 66 pages so yea Google is all over them.

Traffic is coming from google and windows live

i need to mention that i mix articles in there also so that there is more meat to the website

one site has already made 4 bucks not alot but only 30 dyas old

I wish I knew I could recoup within 30 to 90 days, but I don't know. I know datafeed sites I had, worked in the past and this plugin claim's it is different because it combines feeds to make posts unique. I also know ShareASale.com is a good network that does pay... so I'm counting on those two factors. I plan to put the plugin on several blogs and take a shotgun approach.

      Thanks for the replies guys.

I'm really looking for something that will help me automate a bit of the process. Something that will capture the csv or rss feeds and put them into a database. Then I can go to this program and do a search and create 'ads' that can be placed within posts. This way I can mix articles with product. (Very good thing to do, I do agree!)

Then if a product is removed from the vendor, then it's automatically replaced by the system. Something like an adsense plugin for wordpress on steriods, lol!

Another 6 months have passed since the last post on this topic. Is this a viable plugin for making long term profits with affiliate marketing?
