no, but I did set up a micro continuity site right after watching the free video, it was already sold out by the time I got to it, I just wanted to purchase it mainly for the traffic secrets

Funny - my deal too - the traffic secrets he sold with it looked amazing - the ability to just show your outsourced workers all the videos he's already set up for you to train them...wow -

Russell - if you get over to da WF to see this - do you offer up your Traffic Secrets or 'could' you again for limited time offer again???? :)

Yep. I am in this.

Totally. Freaking. Sweet.

I'm re-vamping 4 of my sites to use this model.

I got these when I was at the Big Seminar. They are very detail and useful. We are setting up our agentsforvalue right now with these videos.

It was "gone in 60 seconds"..

The video he did was very compelling, I was actually interested in the traffic secrets more than anything else.

I actually tried one of the ones he mentioned in the video, it had a major flaw in it that he didn't mention, would love to see the whole technique.

Russell Rocks!

My client is going through the Micro-Continuity Workshop so I get to sit in on all of the sessions. It is by far the most incredible marketing model that I've ever seen. While a lot of us are spinning our wheels with getting visitors to sign up for a special report, Russell focuses on qualifying those visitors that actually have credit cards.

We're already seeing immediate results by implementing just 1 of his techniques.

Re: Russell Brunson - Micro-Continuity 12 Week Training

I disagree with everyone here. It seems like most of these guys who "review" have vested interest with Russell.

I paid $3,000 for the course (it didn't even come with a guarantee of any kind!) because I trusted in Russel's "reputation" but it was total waste of money. What ticked me off more was that he re-released the "7" spots again immediately after and priced it at $2400 (showing how he cares crap about the earlier customer who paid $3,000) The "12 week" course turned out to be cut short because Mr. Brunson changed plans in between and then to make matters worse the "traffic systems" parts are not only too short and non-detailed but also in some videos the narrator is dumb enough to say "you will make $xx" easily with this system by doing this" now why would I give this video to an outsourced worker if they know how much money the work they are doing is yielding? It's insane they didn't edit it out.

Not sure about you guys, but if I'm paying $3,000 I expect to get a lot more than some quickly thrown together program that is out to make the creator quick cash from a seminar pitch.

I'll never purchase anything from Russell again after this mess. Totally unethical marketing where he did not fulfill his promises and cut the program short. Avoid.

Can you explain what you mean by:
1. Qualify visiotrs what actually have credit cards?
What exactly does that mean?

What that means is this - the offer of a FREE CD or FREE ??? is - you use this type of script:

"I'll give this to you for free...all YOU need to do is just cover the shipping and handling"

So when the visitor then has to pull out their credit card -they then 'psychologically ' transitioned to buying from you - a qualified visitor -

and you present OTO's to him/her and your conversions increase dramatically vs offering totally free a virtual product...and then give them OTO's or emails to them selling something....

Make sense? :)

A loophole or maybe a flaw is that some marketers hide the fact that when the customer pays for the 'FREE' CD or DVD, that they are actually also agreeing to:

(a) a free trial for x number of days or weeks and then

(b) their credit card being automatically billed $x every month until the end of the period

This is the bit that isn't actually mentioned clearly

So does it work?

Yes it does because I use the model to sell coaching

BUT, the hook is to be able to tell people upfront that they are paying shipping and handling AND making it crystal clear that after the free trial period ends they will AUTOMATICALLY be billed if they do not cancel

Putting this information where it is clearly seen can and will affect sign-ups.

I tried them both to test.

Re: Russell Brunson - Micro-Continuity 12 Week Training

I actually did get hold of this, one of my partners had purchased , he's working on a program using Russels techniques, but I have to say :

a) The traffic systems are ok - but not great, solid but nothing world beating and all pretty much known outside of this system. Many of them are not actually finished and theres a tendancy to kind of jump over some quite crucial parts . This isn't the case in all, some are done well but at this kind of price bracket, content needs to be A1.

b) The course was cut short pretty dramatically, the forum is ok, but the support isn't fantastic, and if you think you have any chance of speaking to Russel , forget it.

c) Some of the stuff such as " we set up your site for you etc", is a exageration, nobody actually does this stuff for you, it's more a case of poetic licence in that they give you all the information to help you set it up yourself.

I'm not dissapointed as such, and the basic principle of micro continuity the free CD etc is solid, it's just that overall it's not quite lived up the price tag.

That said, we are going ahead and working on a site as I speak, if nothing else it gives you the impetus to keep moving with the project but it's not the product I had initialy hoped for.

7.3/10 - Could do better.

No problem and I don't want to put you off because Russel's principles, MC as a concept is excellent, and you will learn a lot from the MC course, I just think with a little extra effort, tidying the videos, more direct coaching etc it could have moved from "good" to "excellent".

But overall a solid product, right up with the best, just needed a little more polish for my liking.

Re: Russell Brunson - Micro-Continuity 12 Week Training

Hey Guys -

Thanks for the comments both good and bad. They always help us improve.

To address the negative ones - here are a few things:

1st - I hadn't realized anyone felt we cut the trainings short. We added 4 webinars more then what we promised when we sold it and added a 1 day event which a bunch of you guys came to. We had actually went quite a few weeks further then we had planned or sold.

2nd - The traffic systems aren't meant to be ground breaking new information. Just the simple things that work. They are made to give to outsourced workers to do a task to drive traffic to your site. They are the same videos we use in our company every day. I do appreciate the feedback on some of the holes. There are times when we may be using them and forget that there may be a something needed to further understand a principle. When this launch is over, I'll start going back through each of the systems and re-reviewing them with that hat on and see what other things we could / should add.

3rd - The done for you site where we "set up the site for you" is true. It should be finished by the 30th of this month. As I explained in the members area and during the sales process we had to create 52 weeks of content before anyone could start using it... not a small task, but we're almost done.

4th - for Mr. Wright - I always guarantee what we do. If you need a refund just let me know. And what I sold for a cheaper price wasn't the same product, it was just the micro-c training - no ITS (which used to be sold for $2,500 by itself). And for personal attention - you are right - I am not able to give personal attention to every student individually (nor did I promise to), but we do try to get as close to that as possible. That is why we invited everyone to come to our office to not only work with me for a full day, but to work with the guys in my offices who created the traffic systems to help get them working for your business. I'm glad that we had a large majority of the students come to that - it was awesome!

Anyway - I hope this helps clear some stuff up. If I ever make a promise and somehow it slips through the cracks, please let me know ASAP. We always jump fast to make sure all of our customers are happy - and 9 times out of 10 we've already fulfilled it, but for some reason the emails got lost or never opened.

Also - I just wanted to give a congrats to all of the students who went though the training. It was a very fast program, and from everything we have ever done, I have never seen so many success stories so fast from any program. It was SUPER exciting for me and for everyone on our team. We're excited to keep developing the program and help more people to finally make their first dollar online.

Thanks again

I just saw a video of this the other night after getting an email from Jason Moffatt and the concept and content in the video was pretty much kick ass for lack of better words :)

I usually stay away from products "like this" but I think this is one that I am going to get.

Hi Russel

I believe initally it was meant to be a 12 week program became less than that, I've lost track now. Yes extra webinars were added but the actual course itself was cut short.

The comments about we do it for you were not related to the actual "we do it for you" premium service but the copy on the standard product which essentially suggested you make the DVD etc etc.None of which is strictly true, provide the service yes, but there was a tendancy to exagerate what is actually handed to you on a plate.

Rest seems fair comment.

I just took advantage of the offer from Bill Glazer of this program. 6 hours of this program preloaded on an ipod shuffle for only $9. At least im hoping it is a shuffle since that is the pic he used on his site and it didnt mention it wasnt a shuffle? But 6 hours and a free ipod is a good deal.

I am a newbie to this so I cant wait to dig in. I am trying to sell my own products on the web so I dont have to ravel and do live events since I have 2 beautiful little girls 4 and 7 and a new baby boy 3 months at home. Would rather take the time with them and do everything from the comfort of my home and on vacation.

Thanks for all the awesome advice on this forum and I look forward to learning from all you guys and gals here! You are all RockStars!

Re: Russell Brunson - Micro-Continuity 12 Week Training

Anybody signing up for the Free Ipod...beware there is a $97.00 monthly charge after the Two Free Weeks of coaching you get.

I would hate to have anyone be in shock. Joe Vitale did it to me with his Hypnotic Marketing sales page with his $1.00 report. I was charged 30.00 a month and was getting a monthly CD that I didn't want. At first I thought...wow, how nice. But then it hit me, I went back and checked his sales page, and in the fine print...it said I would get charged after the first month.

I am very sensitive to this type of marketing since I have been on the receiving end of these fabulous offers.

Take care,
Karen

PS. I couldn't risk my reputation with these kind of offers. My clients would drop me like a hot potato. And I appreciate them too much. I would have to be 100% up front about the charges, and the terms.

Re: Russell Brunson - Micro-Continuity 12 Week Training

I would just like to add my two penny worth (sorry thats en english phrase!) to this debate...

I would like to say though that, from a relative newbie's perspective, Russell himself seems to give away a lot more really useful content in his affiliate website than just about any other "guru" that i have come across. I spent $4000 last year for a two day workshop with another big name promoter, which included a ready made membership site. The site itself turned out to be a real disappointment, and in all honesty i think i have learnt more so far just from Russell's free stuff that he makes available online, than what i did when i paid $4000 to this other guy!

i think just from watching the free stuff on MC there is enough info there to go out and make it work (which we should give Russell credit for) i.e. without going for the ipod, but i guess the ipod offer gives people those extra resources to get them going faster.

having said all that, yes i agree that i am not always comfortable with the fact that the on-going monthly fee isnt given more prominence in the marketing pitch. Ideally it should be made crystal clear, and if the fact that it can be cancelled at anytime was also made clear at the same time then surely that would be a viable alternative?

as an affiliate promoting MC, i do so because everything i have seen so far makes me believe that the product will work for people, which i think should be the basis for promoting any product. But just as important i fel RB is a genuine guy. If i didn't believe in either a publisher, or his product, i certainly wouldn't waste my time and space endorsing it, as let's face it there are loads of products to endorse online, right?

hope that helps
Andy

Yeh what he said above!
1. I think Russell is great, his videos are helpful and I BELIEVE what he says, he has a huge business and gives away a lot of stuff.
2. Did anyone get the traffic systems upsell? If so, can you comment what you think of them as I am undecided but they are pretty pricey.
3.@ Montero - the order form worked fine for me, maybe there was issue with your card or something.
4. What do people think Russel is going to do on a course on microcontinuity? Of course hes going to demonstrate how to upsell and continue the continuity stream, it was pretty in your face and there was no deception I noticed. And he has said that there is a money back guarantee anyhow!
5. Just get it, its a cool concept that Russell really lives and breathes and it works for him, hes been on tv promoting himself!

1. Its not an ipod shuffle its an MP3 player. Sorry to disappoint.
2. I ordered the digital version of the traffic systems I haven't received them yet but will give the company an email today. ($497 on the digital version)

Russell has some good info. I heard him give an MC speech back in March learned a lot.

I signed up this go around. Here's my impressions. I appreciate the micro-c model - it does sound like a nice blend of many of the more successful info product models out there. However, I can't seem to shake this feeling that there is a bit of deception that runs through Russell's marketing and this product that makes me somewhat hesitant to buy in full bore to him and what he brings to the table. The use of the ipod-like image, the reliance on forced continuity, the truncated 12 week training issue, the fine print $97 per month charge after the two week trial period, the use of "one time offers" that are not really one time offers, etc. All technically ok and justifiable, I suppose, but I get this funny feeling like I'm dealing with a used car salesman. I hope I'm wrong.

Hey, Bigdadda... I know it's sometimes difficult to trust someone you've only ever seen on the internet. All those bad apples have really ruined it for the guys who are really making a difference and adding valuable content to the IM coversation. IMHO, Russell is one of the latter.

I know Russell already addressed some of the issues you mention above (how's that for character?), but from what I can remember about the original Micro-C training offer, there weren't 12 webinars. I remember it being 6 (but I could have a bad memory there).

In looking through the current sales materials, Russell NEVER mentions Apple or iPod, he always says MP3 player. In fact, he even says he bought the first shipment from Korea - that's about as transparent as one can get regarding the product being offered.

Granted, I don't know if I like forced continuity very much, but i've never had a problem getting removed before the charges hit.

I know there is a tendency to lump aggressive marketing into the used car salesman category. I can't blame you, there. But I am 100% satisfied with the stuff that Russell has put out so far.

I am too. For future purchase you guys should use paypals plugin mastercard. You can generate a new card in seconds and make it a 1 time use card and it wont work after you make that initial purchase. You can also generate multi use mastercard and you can close them just as quick. Its a really cool feature and you can even use your other funding sources as a backup in case you dont have a balance on your paypal account. I have been using it for a few months now. Pretty cool not having to worry if someone is going to charge you after you cancel something.

For those who have implemented this model, what are the risks in getting your merchant account shut down?

I have read stories of complaints and charge backs by people, leading to merchant accounts getting suspended due to a large number of complaints...

I just wanted to chime in here...

I too thought they were an Ipod I guess I should have looked a little more closely :)

Regardless I think the training you recieve for $5 is stellar. I've gone through all 6 hours or whatever it is and couldn't stop listening to it. The sticking point to the program is going to be getting your first info product out there if you don't already have one, so it's probably not directly applicable to rank newbs.

For more advanced marketers this program will be a game changer. Just copy what he's doing in his launch right now and apply it to your business.

1. Setup a great $5 dollar shipping free offer
2. Build a backend out of your existing product - Deliver 1 piece of it a week.
3. Build an upsell product - doesn't have to be yours

Bigdadda I know it was mentioned before but Russell seems straight to me. I think he's just a serious marketer who knows how to push people's buy buttons. I wish starting out I could have gone through his courses instead of piecemeal buying everything I could get my hands on.

Guys,

Everything Russell does is 100% ethical and honest. If you get billed on his continuity and didnt want to, its your fault. If you thought that it was an Ipod that is also your fault. If you didn't get a refund from him that is also your fault because you did not ask.

Now there may be some legitimate criticism about some of the content not being detailed enough but he is working to always improve everything. In most courses out there you get a vague outline for an upfront payment of $1000 or more. He is giving you most of what you need for free.

If you don't have continuity, then you don't have a business. The days of peddling a one off $47 ebook offer are over. You must have continuity and you must have a back end if you want to be really successful. ALL of the top guys have this and what Russell if providing you is a way for anyone to set this up quickly and cheaply.

If you are a newbie, you will have problems with getting traffic to your site since you probably do not have JV partners to promote for you so you will have to spend some time writing articles, making blog posts, doing SEO etc... to get the traffic. You will have to do this for any business but in my opinion is the only reason that people might fail using his system aside from not doing anything which is why most people fail to make any system work. But, all the while, you are building a list of qualified customers that have valid credit cards. You can use this list to promote other products of quality in your niche and thus increasing your chances that those people will promote for you later and all the while earning commissions and collecting recurring income. This is powerful stuff!

Cheers!

I can understand all the fuss from some people about whether or not this is a good system, is it for them etc etc - all standard questions from people both new and old to Internet Marketing.

Part of me wants to be cheeky and be "glad" that people aren't going to take him up on his offer.

Being an existing customer of Micro Continuity from the first time around - I would say I'm glad of less people learning about this kinda stuff ;)

If you're unsure, I'm happy to answer questions etc so don't worry about that - but what I would also add, is there is never any problems getting a refund if you are not happy with it.

Also, if you do go for it - stick with it - don't jump onto the next thing that comes out straight away :)

Any Tips ?

Well to be honest, start with something you're passionate and knowledgeable about - that way it will come easy.

Don't worry too much if the niche is quite small. You can still generate a good following within a niche.

I mean look at the Potato gun example!

I think for a some people though this is not the model they wish to replicate. Personally i don't like forced continuity.

That said i don't make more than a million a month.

He talks about this stuff on the mp3's go listen to them if u have the product!

cool and thanks for all the info on this. I downloaded the 6 hours today and put it on my ipod to listen in the car tomorrow morning. Cant wait!

Also if it looks like an ipod shuffle and doesnt say its not an ipod shuffle. then I will assume it is. writing mp3 player doesnt say its not an ipod. Just like if he was offering a free car with a pic of it on his site. Then when you get it, its just a toy model of that car. Just vecause it didnt saw real car doenst make it right. I remember back in the day they used to sell these bb guns in magazines that said real semi automatic bb guns that looked like real guns. the pics looked great and then when you got it in the mail, it was a plastic piece of crap. obviously the company got shut down. Im not complaining sin ce for $9 im getting a sweet deal. But I would have thought 2 or 3 times before buying if it said mp3 that looks like a shuffle. just my 2 cents.

I also have a few blog sites and writen a few other books that I have not published yet. So I would be interested in possibly putting something together. Just an idea. PM me.

The Micro-Continuity Program ROCKS!

I am using it and I absolutely love it...
I Highly Recommend It.

This program is amazing and we are putting
together our launch right now for one of our
products.

The Affiliate Program works great too...
promoting other peoples products is powerful.

Thanks Russell.

Sincerely,

Michael

There are other products on the market that do that and are sold as stand alones.

To all those who ordered the "free" mp3 player, how easy is it to cancel the forced continuity trial within 14 days? can you do it online, call up support or need to go through multiple hoops?

I was sold on the Fixed Time Membership model back when I heard about it from Jimmy D. Brown -- but the way Russell has taken and tweaked/added to that is just very cool. I'm starting to work on switch my plain Membernaire sites to MicroC sites.

To the person who has a problem doing the video, the following has NOT been tested, but I'll bet it's right... =;)

Doing a text squeeze and sales page is better than having NOTHING out there.
Putting audio on both will pull better than text.
A screen capture video will pull better than audio.
And live action video will pull better than screen capture.

So my suggestion would be to go as far toward live action video as you can right now, just so you get something out there. You can always make it better later.

I signed up on accident - I'm a sucker for a good sales letter every time!

I just wanted to see what the buzz was all about, ended up signing up & getting a oto.

After the dust settled I thought about it & decided to cancel 2 days later since I don't have time to really learn this right now - have other projects going.

I emailed support - no wait - sent in a support ticket about this & was sent a reply around 1-2 days later saying my account was canceled. So hopefully that did it!

Hope that helps,
Ann

I listened to his 1 hour presentation a while back. When this came out, I jumped at it. Didn't really care about the MP3 player, I just took the mp3 downloads and loaded them into my own player. Listened to the 6 hours twice. I haven't received the first video yet, but so far I am very impressed with those 6 hours.

I didn't feel fooled by the 97 dollar a month price tag, but maybe I was looking for it in that I have seen these type deals before.

Pretty cool not having to worry if someone is going to charge you after you cancel something.

https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/we...side&nav=1.3.2

It seems that PayPal Plug-In is currently only available in the United States and is not offered in any other country at this time.
