Anyone heard of "Social Media Traffic Blueprint"..?

I've been following the launch and there are a few things that bother me.

1. She doesn't really say much about the product...sounds like coaching, but I can't tell.
2. She hasn't mentioned a price...

In my opinion, she seems like the type of person that labels herself as something she isn't. I don't know how successful she is, but she'll have to build up some more credibility if I'm to drop a few grand on her next product.

  She had some heavy hitters, like Harlan, provide testimonials and she did a good job of copying Kern's launch and creating something of her own with it, but I think it was overpriced.

  Maria did not pay me a dime to write her copy. I did a charity special and Maria donated to a charity I was trying to help out.
  
  Maria was unlike any other client I ever worked for.
  
  She wouldn't let me write her copy until she helped me.
  
  Did she ever. She showed me some sneaky youtube tricks that blew me away.
  
  Her first launch really did sell out.
  
  I don't have any information about the second launch.
  
  And my testimonials are not for hire.
  
  She is a sweet soul and people who worked with her have achieved some really great success stories.

  I posted a feedback to the "product's" (we'll refer to her as the "product") video, asking why a tweet linking to her video on youtube, only got 59 views (according to youtube stats data) from her 45K followers" (after 7 days of being online). Can you explain that? The bee of social media, has minimal following?
  
  I was "shocked" when I got the message "feedback waiting approval" (who knew the feedbacks were not automatically approved)....regardless, not only was that "feedback" question (not approved), the video was immediately taken down, and the "product" no longer tweets linking to any youtube videos (just hides them away on the "products" site where statistical information can not be ascertained). Weird....isn't it?...again (in case you missed it) my question is how does someone claim a celebrity like following when some 44.9K (of 45K) of followers appear to be nothing more then "stand" ins, used to prove "success".
  
  If you really felt the need to participate (opening a new account to do so), one would think that you would provide your "feedback" regarding the "product" rather then feeling the need to hide her in private communications (where it can't be questioned.....cuz questions can be hard).
  
  You also failed to disclose the fact that you have a "financial" interest if someone purchases "the teachings" through you, but hey, no use getting bogged down with details.
  
  Anyways, I should disclose the fact that I learn in web 2.0.1...(the critical thinking update came, and I downloaded the patch right away....it protects my mind from..well you know...). Did I mention I make 13 digits a month (7 more times and it becomes a fact....law of attraction you know).

  I did some thorough Internet search on her very expensive coaching course and it was kinda disappointing. Lots of recycled stuff from another famous Internet marketer.
  
  If you want a value-packed video marketing course that cost 60 times less than what Maria Andros charges, look for Sean Donahoe's Video Assassin course, so far still sold in the WSO section.
  
  I bought VA and can seriously vouch for the value in it. I so far made 24 videos since Oct 22 and applied the teachings in it, and they do make sense.
  
  Million dollar question: "Did you make money with it?"
  
  Honestly? No.
  
  It's not enough to churn out videos like I did. You have to promote them!
  
  I can say the only results I have from them is 2 more people on my list. (hangs head in shame)
  
  Gotta do more videos + get my well-muscled butt into promoting them!

According to posts it was supposed to be a $5,000 "course" on social media, but she dropped the price to $2,500 (curious). The individual I heard from (via my youtube channel) was not overly happy with the "content" and she was attempting to get her money back (not sure on that). Only "3" (four with the one that was not happy) of her hundred students (she claims to have had ... two of which "won" the course), and interestingly enough were friends of hers, and one 'unknown' left any kind of 'feedback'. All others left "questionable" feedback, but didn't necessarily take the course as the remarks predated the frist launch. That's right second launch July 23 (for now anyways).

Based on the limited amount of information I had to "look over", it may be more beneficial that she take a marketing/advertising as well as a psychology course (as opposed to "trashing" education), and focus on "learning", before focusing on "teaching". The only thing she appears to be marketing is her own "success".

All indication is that the poor girl is confused about herself. I found glaring inconsistencies in her "stories" about her past (earnings, job claims, and "celebrity status") all information she herself made publicly available, which does not coincide with information from her relaunch video.

Her twitter "popularity" also appears "gamed". She does an add for add, and so people wouldn't notice that she had the same amount of followers as followed (aka friends on stat sites), she deletes them at various times. So the "spread" (up to about 6k) makes things look more "real".

The other interesting thing, is that as her "twitter" followers have gone up, yet her website monthlies have dropped like a stone from over 41k in march to under 5k in june (according to compete statistics. Could be that the march numbers were gamed, but I can't say for sure.

Everything I have seen points to self professed greatness, and attempting to "look" knowledgeable, appears to be a a lot more important to her then learning and disseminating "valuable" information. The most telling sign are the metrics of those "few" who "claim" to have taken her course (which according to one of her 3 students videos will take two years to accomplish any significant level of success via social marketing, a two year cushion, which allows for the changing "fads" excuse for failure).

This isn't the first time that someone incorrectly stated their greatness (to sell overpriced teaching, which could be had for less then $100 if you really felt the need to pay for it) and it certainly won't be the last.

I've been on the block for a few years now and I too have seen my share of people who get caught up in proclaiming "celeb" status...I've always had the approach of "keeping it real", but to each his own. i have to give her props though for doing a good job at marketing herself because people are paying for it. i really do hope her students are getting results. thanks again, ciao!

haha....Yeah, unfortunately I research everything, a 'hazard' of my forensic accounting background. I hope that her students are succeeding as well....because their failure becomes everyone's (in this industry) failure.

The problem is when self-professed 'gurus' don't keep it real, and blow possible success levels way out of proportion (and students/customers inevitably fail, well fail making 6 to 7 figures a year as she implies), then they tend to label all "marketers" as individuals who can't be trusted, and that effects everybody (including individuals like yourself, who do keep things real).

Personally, I don't measure success by the amount a person "claims" to have made (Bernie Madoff is but one good reason..not to mention the deception I uncovered in people selling their "highly successful" businesses (and in this case I mean tangible businesses... restaurants, stores, car dealers, boat dealers, etc) is yet another), but the integrity they show.

It doesn't take much to sell a lie to hopeful people who place their trust in somebody (particularly in this economy), and less then ethical individuals are a dime a dozen, and their ability to 'market' themselves is paramount to selling their "promises".

What she doesn't appear to realize (and as I stated she does require some serious education..even in the law) is that she may end up paying for it in the end. If any civil court action is initiated (and most lawyers will take a case like this on contingency basis as it would be lucrative for both the plaintiff and the lawyer), the first thing she will be called upon to show is proof of her "past earnings" and her past earnings claims (and the fact that she provides that as video proof...outstanding) regardless of any false protection she may feel that she has from an earnings disclaimer, since she is using her earnings explicitly as proof to her "marketing expertise" (and the possible success of her 'customers'). We are not just talking actual damages, but significant exemplary and punitive damages to boot (maybe not in Canadian courts, but US courts...chaching!!). Not to mention the repercussions from the FTC (Bureau of consumer protection), once a judgment goes against her (they don't seem to take deceptive business or advertising practices lightly).
