Any course / WSO for actual site set up and structure

There are obviously thousands of courses on SEO, how to set up one page sites, Amazon style sites, but can anyone recommend a WSO or course on the best way to set up a standard affiliate type site.

I don't mean how to install Wordpress, I mean recommended themes, how many pages, what those pages should look like, how to promote an affiliate product within it, how to update with new content (e.g. static front page or constantly changing).

Any ideas gratefully received.

I agree, I am obviously newer then you, but a how-to section would be nice. Just the basics, not how people do their business, but maybe blueprints or step by step. Good suggestion, I am all ears too.

I did notice that one of our fellow Warriors has this Kindle book available. It looks like he goes into building quality sites in some detail. The Ultimate Wordpress Book . It looks like he is security consious as he mentions making sites that are "hacker proof". I know from my own experience just how important this can be.

His book is at The Ultimate WordPress Book; A Step-by-step Guide for Making an Attractive, Profitable, and Hacker-Proof WordPress Site: Lambert Klein: Amazon.com: Kindle Store

Thanks for the heads up, may take a look at that.

Can anyone recommend anything that they have actually read though?

As above, I'm not looking for tips on plug ins etc., in fact it doesn't even have to be Wordpress. More around how to structure the content on a site so that it attracts traffic but also is effective on actually referring visitors to the affiliate offer.

This is has nothing to do with wordpress and I don't even know if it's still for sale but the original 'review site' book is the best there is for this type of thing in my opinion.

Google The Rich Jerk and get it if it's still for sale.

Hi. If you're looking to create a larger niche site, there is no standard amount of pages, but if you're looking to create a mini site (around a particular product,) I've heard that 5 in the minimum. You need to have articles about stuff going on in your niche as well as product reviews.

The layout of a page and what it looks like can depend on the theme you choose and the actual niche market your in. Looking at other sites in your niche can help you decide on a format, but never copy someone ele's content. When writing product reviews/articles, use subheadings. You should also break your paragraphs up into small chucks.

When you're writing articles, it's a good idea to relate them to a product that you've done a review on, so you can link them together. You should also make sure that your articles and reviews are tagged properly. For instance, if you're writing a review on weight watchers, your tags should be like the product name.

You should also be using the main keyword you wanna rank for in the title and stuff like that. Oh, you should be using a keyword tool when doing this. If you're creating a site that revolves around product launches to where you can't really use a keyword tool, you have to really know your niche to help you figure this out.

This is just some stuff off the top of my head. I hope it helps some.
