ultimate ebook creator

Has anyone tried this out? Any better products or methods out there for making ebooks that can be published in various platforms, especially Kindle?

Most importantly, does it do what it says it does? Make flawless kindle and nook books that are accepted on the first try so long as you don't try and publish plr crap or anything that violates Amazon's TOS?

Thanks in advance to all who reply

I've got it and just used it recently to format a book for Kindle. The book is The Dancer And The Necromancer and is free till midnight tonight, 12/31 so you can see
the formatting. UEC is the easiest thing I've used yet to format a Kindle book.
      I hope this helps you.

Kindle now that formatted with it.

I had a few issues with it. Specifically, it won't left-align your books and bullets don't work. Also, the software "calls home" every time you open it. So if the UEC servers go offline, you'll be stuck with books that can't be opened. Full review at my blog. Ultimate Ebook Creator Review

I bought UEC after trying other programs for Kindle and failed with them. After a few months of searching and trying other programs I almost gave up trying to create an eBook for Amazon Kindle. Then I came across UEC, bought it before I finished reading the sales page and never regretted it!

I got my eBook up and running on Amazon Kindle in no time and have been pleased ever since! Anytime I've had problems, Nitin was quick to respond and help me out. Customer service is EXCELLENT and very helpful and courteous!

For the price, updates and customer service you get with UEC, I would NEVER recommend anything else!

Why don't you take your concerns up with the creators? I'm sure the things you mention would be a pretty easy fix.

I just read your review on your blog. All formatters that I know of, say you have to strip the formatting out of word before copying and pasting. I copy/paste from Open office with no problems. However, since I write mostly fiction, I don't use bullet points. In the UEC manual it tells you how to use MS Word with the program. I haven't read it because I don't own MS Word, and with UEC I have no need to buy it.

I'm aware of Word's formatting issues.

One book was written entirely inside UEC.

The second book, I cut/pasted from Word to Notepad first. Then I pasted from Notepad to UEC. This completely removes any formatting. I then applied bullets using the UEC software to the stripped text.

The problems still existed in both books.

If you need bullets or left-aligned books, UEC will disappoint.

    Hi charlesartist...

I use this and it does work on both platforms and a couple others which I have not tried as of yet. Plus the guy who created it is very socialable and responsive to any questions you may have as well as quick to "fix" anything. So go for it... (if I had an affiliate link I would have sent it to you)

I have used Ultimate Ebook Creator, have two ebooks published with it and have found it easy to use. Better yet, the author, Nitin Mistry, is the most responsive and helpful developer of any product I have ever purchased in the wide world of internet marketing. When I did have a problem with the program, he was able to promptly fix it or give me assistance to correct what I was doing wrong. In addition, Nitin continues to update and improve the program at no additional cost. You don't get an "upgrade fee" from him, just an even better product. I don't think you can go wrong with this ebook creator.

I now have several books under my name and pen names that were formatted with UEC. It also formats ebooks for Nook and will even give you a copy in MS Word format without you owning MS Word. It's super simple, that's what I like.

In September I will have had the Ultimate e-book Creator for a year. When I first purchased it, it was not nearly as sophisticated as it is now. As a result, I have been in communication with the developer as the program was being improved.

Whenever I had a problem I would write to him and he would respond, sometimes within hours. See my Amazon Author Page at, Amazon.com: George Puckett: Books, Biography, Blog, Audiobooks, Kindle

Thanks to the UEC program, I have 33 books on Amazon Kindle in less than a year. I should also add that I have tried 2 other popular programs.

I am really happy with UEC. It does everything I need and is super simple to use.
If you ever have a problem with it, the creator Nitin will sort it in double quick time.
    Fantastic video tutorials are provided.
The overall support and contact with him is excellent.
I do not know Nitin personally, I am just a very happy customer.
I have a free ebook at my site that I created with it. Its available in mobi, epub and pdf.
If you want to take a look, click the pay with tweet or facebook button for the download link.

I have been using UEC for a number of years now and have published 14 books on Amazon, most of them written in and formatted with Ultimate Ebook Creator. I have never had a book rejected by Amazon.

UEC is a wordprocessor, with a great tutorial system and excellent support from the developer. I would recommend it. You can check it out here and try if for free. http://tinyurl.com/7ax9est

I have used all sorts for Kindle with various results. I use UEC exclusively now. I have over a dozen books all done with UEC.

I use it for Smashwords and Kindle without ever having a formatting issue.

I would not use anything else for my books.

Support is always done by the program writer, not as I have needed much. Just my own errors.

Nitin Mistry, has created the Ultimate EBook Creator at a price the general public can afford... without any recurring payments. Which I think is very generous. Kudos to Nitin.

    The Benefits of UEC:

    • No recurring payments... I like it
    • Instant results in minutes, not days... I like it
    • Get your eBook formatted right first time... I like it
    • Almost paint by numbers... I like it
    • PDF guides (well written)... I like it
    • Videos (high quality)... I like it

    10 reviews within 12 hours? That's weird.

Have the issues with the licensing server, left-aligned paragraphs and bullets been resolved yet? I wrote about it here.

I'm currently using Scrivener ($40 one time) after leaving behind UEC and the features are admirable. Bullets work, left-alignment is possible and it exports to every format on the market (Microsoft Word, RTF, PDF, HTML, ePub, Mobi, Apple iBooks, Kindle).

Hi, I have to make some comments here...

I bought UEC last month and published two eBooks already, with no problems whatsoever. I wrote the first book straight into UEC! It is a great word processor, you really don't need MS Word. Everything is clearly explained in the videos and PDF, therefore I had no issues with bullets. I just followed the instructions! I wrote the second book in Word (65 pages). Again, I had no issues with bullets. I pasted all the content in Notepad, then pasted in UEC and after that I put bullets. Again, these were the developer's instructions.

Regarding left-aligned paragraphs, I don't see the need for that. I think the books are perfectly formatted as is. My kindle books look great!

Regarding the server, I had no issues with the licensing server, though I was on for hours and hours, day and night.

Bottom line, this software is very good, worth every penny. But I feel that you, Jesus Perez, don't want to hear that. I sense negativity in your post and I had to jump in, because I don't like that. This forum is for helping people. And this software is good, it helps! It saved me tons of time and aggravation.

BTW - 10 replies within 12 hours is NOT weird. There should be many more. These replies come from WF members just like me, who own UEC and know that it is a very good product and probably sensed your negativity towards the software. If you have problems, you need to contact the developer, he provides great customer service. Don't try to promote other competitive product by denigrating an excellent one, that is bad business. This is all I had to say.

I need left-aligned paragraphs for non-fiction work. I also know many other writers that need it.

For example, if you write a short sentence, it looks weird indented.

You won't have issues as long as his licensing server is online. The question is, if his licensing server goes down, will UEC keep working? If you take your laptop somewhere with no internet, can you open UEC to write a little? I can't find an answer to that and it worries me. It should worry you too. You're putting a lot of time into those UEC files and your book.

        "Whatcha talkin' 'bout Willis?"
This forum is absolutely for helping people. I reviewed the software and found these issues. I highlighted them in case others need these features. Is that not helping? What's negative about that?

If you don't like what I'm saying, you can block my profile on the forum. In the meantime, I'll keep writing my reviews about the software I've purchased. Just because my review doesn't agree with your experience doesn't mean it's negative or wrong.

I find the surge of positive replies within the past 12 hours weird. If you look at the history of this thread, it doesn't line up. Buyers don't flock to positively review products in 12 hour windows. If they do, where did all the reviewers from May 2013 go?

I really wanted this to be the Kindle-making software I needed. I was sold on all the perfect reviews from buyers just like you. So I bought in and, unfortunately, it didn't meet my needs. If there are others that need these features, they need to be informed so they don't waste their time as well.

As for contacting the developer...I did and he couldn't help me.

As for "bad business"...I'm not trying to promote Scrivener. They don't even have an affiliate program so there's nothing to gain by mentioning them. It just happens to be the only software I could find that exports to many formats with left-aligned paragraphs and working bullets. Again, this might help others that need a more robust solution for their writing.
