The Best Wordpress Membership Plugin ?

I am volunteering to build a membership site for a non-profit organization and I would REALLY REALLY appreciate if you guys can recommend me a membership plugin based on the following core requirements. I used to work as a ghost writer for a leading author on ezinearticles a couple of years back and came to know about this forum through him. I have a small blog and haven't been to affiliate marketing in any serious aspect. I would consider myself as semi-advanced in wordpress skills.
There are no other advanced fancy configurations desired at this point of time. I would really like to have Google First Click Free but I can wait for that.
I have a feeling that DAP would be an overkill for me but I don't mind if it is possible to do what I need. I have taken a look at S2Member and posted a pre-sale question at their forum but the answer seems to be a bit confusing for me. - The site need to process annual recurring subscriptions via paypal. I need to have an option for them to use their credit card as a number of our prospective members neither holds nor wants to sign-up with paypal.
- The fundamental purpose of this plugin is to facilitate the annual membership which preferably should be able to renew automatically
- I need partial content locking that will be accessible only for members. We are looking to have some flash video/audio in a part of the page that is only accessible to members upon login. I understand that you can do with shortcodes.
- I already have a coming soon page where I have an aweber form collecting prospective leads. I want the plugin to integrate well with aweber.
- The sign up process must be simple and not complicated.
- The organization prefers their members to do the transaction on paypal and would like a payment process that doesn't force to sign-up with paypal.
