WishList VS aMember VS Kajabi?

Hey guys,

I'm curious as to what is your favorite membership site software that you use and why?

I'm currently on Kajabi and they have been great but they lack in some specific key things that I need to have a more functional membership site, not to mention the monthly fee.

Things like...

• Buyers List Integration with an autoresponder is key
• Ability to have different upsell levels added to different memberships
• Ability to sync with multiple CB accounts or seperate membership sites all together so you can have multiple products, on seperate platforms all in the same upsell flow and automate the entire process.
• Much more, but those are some key things I am missing with Kajabi as of right now.

What do you use?

I use and love Wishlist Member. It can do everything you mentioned and more. I've been using it for well over 2 years now (maybe even 3) and have it down to a science.

I've used Amember in the past and it was good, but nowhere near as user friendly.

      Awesome!

How is WishList for making your members area look super sexy with nice graphics and what not? That seems to be a strong point with Kajabi and makes it really easy to look great!

No problems at all. You can get it looking really nice.

In fact, inside the members are on my Kindle Membership site, I've used some nice graphics and use nice video lightboxes as well as shortcodes with graphics etc. Since it's Wordpress, the possibilities are endless.

          That's awesome man!

What is your favorite theme to use with WishList? Have any experience using Thesis themes? 2.0?

I was glad to find this thread, I've also been wondering about wishlist and would like to hear more about it, along with hearing from people that have used it.

A question I had personally is it worth buying the unlimited or just the one domain plan?

What I like about wishlist is all of the features that come with it. ( I haven't used it yet but from reading reviews and the product information) Having the capability to make a free trial to your membership site is very interesting.

I also believe that having the integration between other gateways, beats other wordpress plugins such as s2member only being restricted to paypal if you go with the free one.

Overall, I would like to look into this topic more and by replying to this thread it holds me more accountable to taking action.

Thank you for letting me ramble on!

Wishlist is a great piece of software for a solid wordpress based membership site. Trial + recurring will depend on your payment processor, but if using the standards like paypal, it works fine.

For more sophisticated system, I like amember as it allows more customization. It also has some integrations not available on wishlist, like the clickbank one click upsell.

I use Digital Access Pass and it does all of what you want and a whole lot more. It's also very well supported.

You can set up products running on different payment platforms such as Warrior Plus, JV Zoo, Clickbank, Paypal, all at the same time. You can also set up as many different membership levels, content dripping, integration with forums such as VBulletin, and loads more.

I don't believe in the monthly fee Kajabi charge for a membership platform when other (better) solutions charge one-time fees.

    Check out their website.

      A few quick notes.

I believe I have found the ultimate combination.

      Thesis + WishList.

Now Thesis 2.0 isn't quite ready for WishList yet, but that will change shortly. Currently I'm running Thesis 185 with WishList on a new site I am about to launch.

      Works like a charm!

Wanted to know if anyone out there knows how to drip feed content with WishList?

Kind of a key feature that needs to be in there somewhere. Heard they can do it, just not sure where.

Any links would be much appreciated.
