Which AFFORDABLE whiteboard animation software do you recommend?

Thanks for pointing out sparkol.com, I'm going to try that out for some Youtube vids.
But for unique and original, you'll probably have to hire someone, no?

$500 whiteboard animation 1h? Are you sure to find this on earth? If you find a quality one with this rate, PM me too.

It's sometime even not enough for a high quality 1 minute whiteboard animation.

I can't find any place to do whiteboard animation for now but hire someone is the best choice currently.

I think they meant $500/hr of quoted work. 3 Hour minimum of work. Not the length of the animation.

Hi run! Sorry I wasnt clear. I meant $500 an hour of actual work, not of whiteboard project video time. I would have received about a 10 min video for 3 hours at $500 an hour... Way to expensive...

Sparkol is actually the name of the company that makes Sparkol presentation software as well as Video Scribe, which is the program you seem to be interested in.

Actually, Video Scribe can import just about any graphic and "draw" it, so using "canned" graphics would be the fault of the user, not Video Scribe.

I know adtoons is not the cheapest but if you've got a killer product and need something original then using an expert will pay off in the long term otherwise take your pick, sparkol, ESP or VFX all require time and good graphics if you want originality.

Sometimes just doing your own, screw the professionalism but capture the message, works a ton better.

Good copy kills poor animation so focus on the message and get it done rather than sweat the professional look unless you are charging the bucks for a client.

Doing that doesn't mean "you're in business", it means you have purchased materials relevant to the business.... big difference.

If anyone wants to go the do-it-yourself route, also realize you need to know how to properly light and shoot everything, and then most importantly, how to edit it all together. It's A LOT of work that takes a lot of time.

Since time is money, anyone looking for a whiteboard video for their own needs should just use a professional service.

Never heard of Sparkol before, downloading the free trial now to have a play - looks pretty cool though I have to admit, and would have saved me a LOT of time recently in a project I was working on :'(

Corel Video Studio has a video scribe effect. It isn't as powerful as Video Scribes, but Video Studio is a one time fee and has many other features. Video Studio has a free trial, so you can give it a try and see if it works for you.

I have all there, sparkol, powtoons and goanimate. each have it's own strength and weaknesses. for example powtoons whiteboard feature not as good as sparkol, in the other side, creating slide move in effect in sparkol can be nightmare.

  Print the graphics out before hand in a very light color. Be sure it's not visible on your camera, grab a marker, and start tracing.

Remember that you can upload your own illustrations to Sparkol. You can get some cool vectors for cheap from many stock websites and then your graphics are different from the masses.

Easy Sketch Pro is currently offline (is also offered here on the WF ) but should come back soon according to the owner / thread owner.

From my point of view, Sparkol VideoScribe is now the cheapest solution: $28 / month compared to $57 / month for PowToons professional (which couldn't even do Full HD1080)

I'm trying VideoScribe from Sparkol right now and will maybe post a (animated video) review here soon.

  You can make 16:9 and even custom sizes.
  
  You do need to be aware that a commercial licence needs also to be purchased ($49) if you want to make videos for clients. Not required if they are for your own use.

Easy Sketch Pro it's cheaper than sparkol ,you can use even normal jpeg image ( to some extend) it's ok to create whiteboard and you can add music and voice , plus they have a large library of vector file included.
Try to get the best price by looking for ESP coupon on the net
