Viral Video Curator Pro (?)...

I went back to look at Viral Video Curator Pro -- and it was CLOSED!

Anyone using this? Successful? Is it still available somewhere? (clickbank?)

Let me know. Thanks!

PS: I STILL don't get the "run it for a few days, then close it down" philosophy. The more, the merrier --- no? What's the benefit (to either the seller or the buyer) to have it shut down almost as soon as it goes up? I don't get it.

I got a promo email today for it and it was OK to purchase.

Didn't got it tough as I can't see any feedback if it works properly and I'm sick to buy things which don't work as advertised.

What package you tried to buy?

      Hi G.

There's ANOTHER similar product that just came on the market today.
On the other hand, THIS is the one I was talking about...
Viral Video Curator Pro - PR 1 to PR 4 in 3 Days Flat!! <<< That item is closed -- after it was only live for a few days!!

(note: this is NOT an affiliate link (of mine)) -- I got the link off an email I got in Jan.

Oh I see, that's not the same, I agree.

Funny that the name is almost identical so is the price.

I got the other one, a Theme with plugin to make video based sites on a fly. Clever little tool you can see here if you like ultimatevideocurator.com/index/uvc/

They upgrade you to the top level for the 27 option right now, but you have to go over support for setting you up.

I got an email today through Mark Ling promoting this UltimateVideoCurator ($47). Alex Goad is behind this one I think. It looks quite a cool plugin. but would like to know if anyone else has seen or tried it. There is another one featured on these forums called CovertVideoPress which pulls videos from YouTube. But I prefer the look and feel of UVC.

I purchased this one but didn't had time to setup. Just went over some tutorials and think that's an awesome plugin+theme.

If you buy now they upgrade you to Enterprise level and give you 2 bonus plugins for 27.

Think it's worth the price as you can build video directories quiet easy.

I've signed on as an affiliate for both products, have bought both, and used both. Very different approaches with very different uses and results.

Hugh Hitchcock makes the "Viral" line of products... Viral Video Curator Pro, Viral Image Curator Pro, and Viral Content Curator Pro, with a Sydication Plugin for video that's a separate charge. The interface of all these looks very similar, so once you've set up one and used it, all the rest are pretty much the same so you can jump in with zero learning curve.

The good things about Hugh are that he makes his products for his own businesses so he updates them constantly so they actually WORK. No problem here with him making something and abandoning it. He also invites and welcomes comments, criticisms, and opportunities to make each product better. With the Image Curator, he took EVERY single suggestion from his buyers and added them to the product within days of the suggestions. He gets really excited about making good things even better.

As both a software developer and musician, he has great respect for copyright owners and the feeble laws that try to protect their creations, so every suggestion from buyers to help make his products more copyright compliant, he jumped at the chance. So pretty much in each of his products, you'll find options to pull data, images or videos from public domain sources, creative commons sources, and an option in every case to click on a question mark to take you to the source where you'll find their original copyright terms of use so you can research it yourself and never be unpleasantly surprised. Of course, Hugh always gives lots of choices and sources for which you to find and choose content, videos, and images, regardless of copyright. In other words, all your best bases are covered here.

So on a trust factor scale from 1 to 10, Hugh's pretty much a 9.5 in "attempting to help you" stay out of copyright use trouble (unless you deliberately WANT to steal), a 10 on good intentions and the sincere desire to do right by his customers, a 9.5 on his ability to deliver on his promises, a 9.0 on the usefulness of each of his products, and a 10 for the additional benefit of actually taking the posts you create with his curation tools and posting them on Facebook, Twitter and/or Pinterest. THAT is where the "Viral" part of his product names sets him apart.

It's one thing to be able to curate content (take content from various sources and rewrite according to your desire) and post it to your own blog. It's a totally separate thing to actually take your curated website post and post it elsewhere with a link pointing back to your original post on YOUR website. So all Hugh's tools BOTH curate content AND syndicate it with links pointing back to your site. Big difference.

Bryan McConnahea, who created the series of plugins he calls Ultimate Video Curator, is also a nice guy. I just bought this product yesterday and spent over eight hours going through it, using it, testing it, etc, but so far it does not seem to have the speed that Hugh's has on the backend... where we actually need to speed up the curation process. For example, if you save a video to use later, the entire screen must refresh before you can save another one. I could "favorite" 20 videos in Hugh's software for later use in the same amount of time.

However, Bryan's product is extremely useful, and has additional and very valuable functions that others do not. Being able to sort and filter your YouTube search results so you can find the most popular videos appearing TODAY for a given search term or category will let you create a "daily" video blog for your targeted audience that will entice them to return repeatedly. It's Bryan's sort features in his curation plugin that make it indispensable, even if the save function is waaaaaaaaaaay to slow.

Bryan's video theme is also a visual pleaser... simple, uncluttered, very user friendly, and exactly why everyone is sooooooo attracted tothis product at first glance. It looks great!

There is a downside... So far I've found no way whatsoever to include all the legal pages ALL of us are required to include... disclaimers, privacy policy, FTC disclosures, TOS, etc... and that needs to be fixed quickly. By the same token, all your written content can appear only as descriptions underneath the titled video. If you want to or need to have written content without a video, well... it doesn't exactly fit in with the rest, even if you can do it.

Another awesome feature in Bryan's video curation is the ability to add Google Alert feeds for a keyword of your choice that appears below your video, and also a gallery of sorts of related videos. The sidebars also fill with videos you choose, using two special widgets that you drag and drop, though one requires you to create an arbitrary Top Videos or Best Videos category to make them appear. Personally, I've been whittling down and deleting all the "extra" categories and tags in my post-Pand-penguin blogs, so the strategies to create this kind of video blog is kind of counter-intutitive to me right now.

But don't let that stop you, as this is the best method for creating Bryan's kind of video blog, and he gives you the perfect template to help you make that happen. It's just that when I tried to make an existing blog FIT into Bryan's template, it's just not going to happen. So BEST recommendation? Use Bryan's video theme and plugin to start NEW video blogs... ones that fit HIS mold and his template... and that will definitely work and draw the kinds of traffic he claims it will.

So bottom line... which to choose? Personally, I see these as two entirely different kinds of tools that do NOT do the same thing at all. But I've been doing video since the 1980's so I have a very, very loooooong view of how things work and how you NEED different tools to accomplish different goals, especially with online digital video today.

So if your goal is to start from scratch with a brand new video blog on which you will put nothing but highly targeted, related videos in one niche... definitely get Bryan's Ultimate Video Curator plugin AND use the separate theme he's created because it will keep you focused and NOT divert your attention away from what's important to the viewers you want to attract. Your goal here is to bring them to your site to watch one video and wow them by giving them a thousand ways to find MORE related videos and keep them going from page to page to page and staying on your site. Bryan's theme and plugin will absolutely do this... but so far... I'm thinking YOU are going to have to find a way to monetize that... and do so within the narror parameters of Bryan's theme. An upsell OTO has a banner ad holder that's really cool, but don't think that will make a hugh difference. I think YOU will have to get creative to monetize this.

In contrast, Hugh's products are an absolute MUST for anyone who already has a blog or wants to integrate ALL the curation, posting, and viral social reposting and linking functions that Hugh's products have to offer. These programs are workhorses you'll end up using daily in one way or another. And you will greatly appreciate the fact that if you ever have even one idea that could make it better, you'll find a very welcoming Hugh to listen to you, often returning emails in the middle of the night, lol, when Hugh's apt to be working or playing his guitar.

So though both guys seem to have that laid back, relaxed, but focused developer's demeanor, it seems Hugh's a bit more unafraid to deal with the masses, their fickle complaints, and other stressors, letting all those "difficulties" help him improve his products, making everyone happy... and happier... the longer you hang out with Hugh and his products.

By contrast, I think Bryan may be a bit younger and more prone to letting the masses and both their fickle AND righteous complaints get him down. This is only important when noting that Hugh has lived through losing his livelihood as a computer programmer during the economic downturn like so many other "career" computer techies and spent the necessary life-changing time downsizing to a former music career and making the low-paid rounds playing from gig to gig to gig, then creating music blogs and hitting the sweet spot again, then building that into a money maker using curation products he created, THEN sharing his proven money maker with the masses.

And THAT is the key difference between their products. Hugh built his workhorse product to work his way UP. Whereas Bryan has created a wonderful product, an AWESOME product, but it has NOT yet weathered the internet or proved itself as a moneymaker. It IS DEFINITELY a product with potential, but you're going to have to monetize it yourself and take the risks of doing so. It WILL get you the traffic you want, but there's no built in way to monetize that traffic or to repost it socially and force it to go viral like Hugh's product does. But then, Hugh's product won't monetize traffic for you directly either. Either way, either product... you'll have to figure that out on your own. However, if you use your own blog theme with Hugh's products, you've probably already got your monetization methods already worked out. Those same methods, however, may not work with Bryan's theme easily. In that case, just use his curation plugin WITHOUT his theme, choosing YOUR theme instead, and see if you can work up your own template within Bryan's plugin that will work for you. With time and a bit of creativity, it looks like Bryan's plugin could be VERY adaptable for a bit more experienced IMers, but those newbies or less experienced technophobes may get a bit confused trying to figure this out. For newbies using Bryan's plugin and theme, it's best to stick to HIS theme and HIS default plugin template, and spend all your time having fun just looking at and curating your favorite videos -- which is his simple and easy point in the first place!

So BOTH are GREAT products. Just very different... and maybe best used by those who can choose their paths well, without a product teaching them how to monetize their blogs.

              Just my thoughts...

Let me just add one thing... I'm not sure whether Bryan had first created a bunch of different plugins that worked well together and THEN had a marketer suggest to him that he market them together... or that he created this "group" of plugins and theme intentionally.

Either way... it seems a bit disjointed... or disconnected. And right when i start to think that, I open up the installer plugin and see everything ready to install and activate all at once. Then I think... OK... I like this. This means I don't have to install each of these things individually over and over and over again each time I start a new website.

That's a very good thing. However, as long as he did that, I would have liked for him to add ALL the necessary plugins I need for each website, not just his necessary ones and favorite ones. When you get this, you'll see what I mean.

BUT, the big frown-turner for me was when I reached the LAST upsell OTO, offering 6 more plugins/softwares as a package deal for $77 or $147 for developer rights. I wanted ONE -- his WarriorPress membership platform -- but at that price it was still a bit too pricey.

My honest opinion and recommendation TO both these guys?

Stay away from the slick promotional marketers that you partner with to sell and promote your products on WF WSOs, JVZoo, FSO, etc. While Alex Goad did a great copywriting and voiceover job for Bryan, there always seems to be a big disconnect between the promotions for both Bryan and Hugh and their very worthy and useful products. Their really good products do NOT need the ickyness that some of the their promoters ooze off on them, pissing off customers to no end for one reason or another.

Anything that separates these really nice developers from their customers is NOT a good idea. And perhaps Bryan, because of his age, is the most affected by this over the longterm. I really hope he finds a gentle kindred spirit to help him bring a more personal touch to marketing his products and helping him like his customers and hang out with them more. I fear something has happened that has made him deliberately choose a more more hands-off approach.

As for Hugh, I think he's better off selling his products through give-and-take WSOs with John Pearce(?), as his last product was sold through a communicationless hands-off manner that did NOT go along with Hugh's customer-focused persona. Big disconnect. Wrong promoters.

So whenever buying digital products, it's best to follow the people behind the promotions to know whether the products will be good ones and supported long-term, whether the developers are trustworthy, and whether the promoters are doing their partners an injustice or earning their hype-filled partner commissions. Induced scarcity is NEVER a good enough reason to volunteer to be a guinea pig with someone's experimental product, unless you know the longterm reputation behind the scientist who created it.

                Just my thoughts...

One MORE thing... about Alex Goad...

What a phenomenal job you did on the sales thread for Ultimate Video Curator... both writing... and voiceover. A consummate professional... to be sure.

You will NEVER see a better example of how to create a promotion that sells itself... though he had a great product to work with.

Still, I would recommend clipping and saving that thread for a GREAT example of how to write and deliver sales copy for a product. You have BOTH the video to listen to... as well as almost a verbatim written account of what's in the video... yet both seem totally stand-alone and uphold excellent value on their own.

My only complaint... really only one... is that without the give and take dialogue below the sales pitch... at least for THIS product... I think it will LIMIT sales for Bryan, instead of enhance them. This is a GOOD product, especially for experienced video bloggers who will appreciate its worth. For newbies, it's great, too, but they need the extra bit of explanation in how to MAKE it great for them so they don't unintentionally get frustrated when trying to make it do something which it cannot do.

Sometimes simplicity is a GREAT thing. Other times, it can frustrate people to no end. Bryan's created something so simple, so easy to use, that its simplicity may just frustrate the heck out of those who try to stuff it's very rounded shape into a square hole.

But Alex Goad cannot narrate this for Bryan. It's something only he can communicate to his users. It's something HE needs help in communicating to his users... who like Hugh's users, could become staunch supporters, if only he would loosen up a bit and let them.

Still... Alex Goad... phenomenal promoter, yes? I nominate this one for an award. Great job, Alex... whoever you are, lol.

                  Just my thoughts...

You may want to contact Hugh directly. I could not find the link but I did see an email fairly recently offering a limited reopening where he was doing developer licenses for all three of his products VIC Pro, VVC Pro, and ICC Pro for $99. I already own all three of the products so I deleted it or I would give you the link. If you are interested try to contact him at his Instant Content Curator support email...PM me if you want it.

Not sure it it's satisfactory for you but you can create new custom menu's with Bryan's theme --> and then add the legal pages to the menu. I just tried it and it is possible.

But don't let that stop you, as this is the best method for creating Bryan's kind of video blog, and he gives you the perfect template to help you make that happen. It's just that when I tried to make an existing blog FIT into Bryan's template, it's just not going to happen.

This is a fact...ain't gonna happen! But as you know Bryan's plugin does work fairly well on some existing themes...you just won't get the automatic sidebar stuff etc. and would need to figure something yourself for that if you want it.

The quick adsense plugin seems to work with Bryan's theme and his plugin...so that's a very good sign!

Yeah, this is a nice feature of VIC and VVC... I am going to try Social Networks Auto-Poster on Bryan's plugin and theme...if it works pretty good then were in! There's always HootSuite if SNAP does not do the trick.

Yeah, I skipped the OTO too --> but I already own WarriorPress, NewsFlash and the Traffic Recycler. I have not used WP yet, but NewsFlash and the Recycler are pretty cool...in-fact I don't remember him ever putting the TR plugin on the market individually, but I could be wrong on that.

$147 is fairly steep, no doubt....but for all of those plugins it's only $21 each for dev licenses. I know he's running Warrior Press single license for like $37...but that probably won't do you unless you are operating a single site delivery platform.

Their really good products do NOT need the ickyness that some of the their promoters ooze off on them, pissing off customers to no end for one reason or another.

                  Here! Here! I second that!

I fear something has happened that has made him deliberately choose a more more hands-off approach.

Maybe so...I don't think he likes the on-thread criticisms for one thing. Thin skin like me.

                  Bingo!
Robin, that was some great writing and very good insights and I'm sorry for snipping up your thoughts! It's nice to have a solid Warrior like yourself around here to counter some of the BS marketing monsters. I agree with almost every thing you said, period. Thanks for writing all that --> as an owner of the same plugins I can attest that when you write something it's coming from you and your experience and not your marketing manager. Very refreshing!

Ok, gotta get back to playing with the new VVC plugin and theme now!

                  Take care.

Both of them have really helped both newbies and experienced video professionals jump over so many of the nit-picky hurdles in our way when we try to jump on the internet video bandwagon, lol.

Haven't had a chance to check out (or afford) Mark Thompson's curation tool yet. (Hey, Mark... if you'd throw one my way, I'd be glad to write a 3,000 word optimized and "honest" review about yours, too, lol).

Before you continue reading please don't forget that tons of people seem to really like CS. That said, I grabbed it and it runs pretty smooth with a decent feature set but I am not sure how much I like it yet. For sure you can add a ton of snippets to a post very, very quickly. CurationSoft uses feeds like ICC Pro Dev does but ICC manages the feeds (and other websites) better using Hugh's grouping function. ICC does not have nearly as many "built in sources" as CS but that can be made up with ICC Pro Dev's Feeds, URLs, and GAlerts and Keyword Grouping. Curation Fire is closer to CS with regards to the "built in" sources. I do not like the image search function on CS at all...it does not return near as many results CC or otherwise as it should and it appears to only search Flickr. It is not doing a very good job there. I don't know what's going on but it ain't quite right! Relevance also seems to be bit of an issue when it returns the image results.

The drag and drop feature is very cool but on most stuff you can only drag and drop the short snippets...to do more than that it's copy and paste.

The insert tweets works well and they look really pretty if you like that function. Another cool feature is you can drag straight to blogs and G+ etc if you have the settings correct --> but my thing was I am not sure it's making it much easier to curate unless you like curating a lot of short snippets with outbound links.

To be honest where I planned to use CS I think I may continue to use ICC Pro Dev and Curation Fire. CF actually compares relatively well to CS as it returns multiple sources in tabs straight on the blog, it's cheap, and it has a simple autoblog function as well. As you know it does not do RSS feeds though.

On top of that if I am going to use short snippets I think I may to start using my SMAutoPilot Platinum to pull content snippets and autoblog it. SMAP allows you to easily input individual editorial info into all scheduled posts and then it blasts the posts you select forever. In-other-words you can pre-pick the snippets it returns and also enter your own thoughts to each post (very easily) and the auto pilot will slam them out automatically to your blog, facebook, and twitter on your schedule.

Bryan's tool can automatically pull short RSS snippets and I have RSS Curator which adds snippets to posts so I am almost snippeted out!

SMAP is be a bit buggy (it's a Barry and Roger production) and for me the post timings are AFU but to be honest if I am going for snippets IMHO it may be more valuable than CS is but it's expensive for the Platinum version. The drawback to SMAP is that only pulls one piece of content per post, the attribution function is weak, and the format is oh so generic.

So I'm a bit on the fence with CurationSoft and was thinking of trying PageOne Curator but to be honest I am not sure it will be much better. I do like the looks of the select and push a button function as well as the apparent attribution ability of Page One so I dunno what I am going to do. Paul sent an email to get it at $27 and that's a good price.

To make matters more complicated Nick sent his list a one day offer for Blog Profit Pro for less than 30 bucks...I almost went for it but didn't. For Amazon sellers the BPP system looks pretty cool. BPP also has Adsense, Clickbank, CJ and other monetization features built in.

It's certainly has been a Curation week no doubt about that! No offense to Hugh and the others but IMHO I think Bryan's tool may be the most innovative of the bunch even though it's just a video blog tool!

Hi Robin, thanks for your posts here - hey I just wanted to jump in and second you on the impressive professionalism of Hugh Hitchcock - I've been using his Viral Image Curator Pro for a while and I've NEVER seen a product updated and improved so often!

Oh, goody! A Tucker boy! Howdy, my neighbor... I used to have an office on Montreal and lived off LaVista. Anyway, I agree with you on Hugh. So I now just assume they'll be yet another update WHENEVER I crank it up to use. He's downright meticulous when it comes to his software. And we are ALL the better for that.

    @Robin

I could not help myself and I went ahead and purchased PageOne Curator and I like it. I won't go in to much detail here but this system also posts to all of your blogs and makes it very easy to grab chunks of stories and articles, it's simple and easy to grab videos (YT) and images (Flickr), it categorizes feeds and allows searching of the categories (sweet), it automatically places proper attributions on snippets, chunks and images (very nice), it can grab tweets, it allows importing images from your blog libraries, it has built in keyword tool, it has nice quick link tool, it allows meta descriptions and sticky topics, it can do all links no follow, it tracks all of your curated posts and allows easy editing of even your published posts (cool), and it has a lot of small features that seem quite helpful and well polished. I have only played with it for 10 minutes and have not read or watched any of the training or documentation so I may find even more goodies when I do! It's very quick easy to use and I am thinking it may push ICC ProDev down the list a bit! The email deal Paul is offering now includes a free upgrade to V2 when it launches.

I paid $27 for it and seems to be a good all-around tool and a bargain at that price.

Hey, Don, I ran across this older thread again and noticed you had bought Page One. I probably did, too, but last year I got Paul's Kudani... which I think may have been the fancy upgrade to that. Is that the case? If so, gotta say, Kudani's the bomb! A professional-level journalist/publisher's tool to be sure. Are you using it?

I must say, Robin, that you have excellent product reviewing skills. Very nice to see other than the couple of lines or so that most reviewers give, which don't actually review products anyway.

Dang it, Don! That's quite a curation fire you've got lit there, lol! And glad you brought up James Carter's Curation Fire... another good product. I'm kind of glad he had a no return policy because after losing several thousand videos on my site in December, I had mistakenly attibuted the problem to installing the CF plugin on the same day it happened. But it was a youTube update problem, not a Curation Fire problem. A few weeks back, I had to write James a thank you note... for NOT refunding my money, lol... because when I started using it, it made my life and articles a WHOLE lot easier. Again, HIS product is different, too, lol.

And that's a buyer's dilemma, of course. Most of these products have at least one outstanding unique feature that makes them a must-have that no other product has. What a stand-alone software product installed on your computer can do, perhaps the plugin cannot, and visa versa. Or what the plugin can do with YOUR theme, another theme can outdo but maybe isn't compatable with that really great plugin.

They all have their pluses and minuses... with the biggest minus of ALL being any product being marketed with a false scarcity tactic pushing you to buy BEFORE the deadline expires. That's such a scam to me... and while the FTC agrees... I don't see them doing anything to stop that kind of false advertising... especially when a few weeks after the deadline, sales reopen at a discounted price OR as a free giveaway to build the seller's list, leaving ALL paying customers ticked off.

But back to Bryan's Ultimate Video Curator...

If you know how to configure his template to make the required policies and disclaimers appear, please let me know. That is definitely something that I need added. Also, you mentioned the Quick Adsense plugin as a way to monetize it. I grabbed it, but haven't filled in its blanks yet. Never did Adsense except on Web 2.0 properties, so this will be my first. (Another thing to learn to do by myself, lol). So wondering how you'll set yours up given the tightly focused nature of Bryan's theme.

And BTW, I agree about Bryan's theme/plugin combination being the most innovative right now. It's pretty powerful in its simplicity. I like that. And now that I've stopped experimenting, trying to get his plugin to work with my blog's theme, I'm ready to just do it Bryan's simple way, starting from scratch on a new blog using HIS theme. I think that's best.

    @Robin

Ol' James lives up in my neck of the woods...unfortunately even he uses a little fake scarcity tactics at times. I could send you a link showing his 24 hour bonus lives on forever on his CF sales page. That said, he does seem to be a nice guy and responsive as well and that's a pretty good combo. Two out of Three ain't half bad in this business!

The worst fake scarcity tactic I have seen this week is by Precious (not my favorite marketer) as he has been blasting out "this is the last day" emails for CurationSoft for the past two days but it does not end for a few more days. It's so sickening I emailed Mark T. about it.

As far as Adsense goes I am no expert...even though I have had it running for a while on one of my popular sites it is by no means optimized properly. It makes me a little money every month but nothing near what it could be making. I gotta do some reading and take some time educating myself better on proper Adsense usage. I sold my own stuff for so many years I did not allow any ads on my sites other than high priced paid ads to those who requested them. Times have changed and it's now time for me to ramp up the Adsense.

--> I think I can help you with the legal pages on the UVC theme though. Try this:

Create your legal pages as pages.
    Go to Appearance --> Menu.
Do a Create Menu and give it a name.
Select the pages to include on it and --> Add to Menu.
    Save the Menu.
Go to Appearance --> Widgets and drag your Custom Menu to somewhere it will show (for sure it shows up on the sidebar).

As long as I did not leave out any steps that should do it for you.

That may work for the Legal pages, using HIS theme, but I did that on an existing video only site I had where I had a menu of nothing but product links in it... and what happened was it DID show the link title, but left a space between each the exact size of the videos that would normally appear there. So all those little links looked so lonely... waiting for their own video to come along and keep them company in their little space, lol.

I was using the Mantra theme with videos only, no articles, few words except link titles. It got tons of traffic... until my December YT update wiped out all videos on all my sites. Had to go back and manually embed each video again. Whew! What a hassle.

Since then I vowed I would NOT use anyting with short codes... where it depended on the developer updating a program in order to keep my work, videos, articles, and all text still present and functioning and appearing normally on my site.

That's my only hesitation about any of these programs... about which ones will stay maintained and updated... and whether my published data will disappear if it's not updated. So I prefer shortcuts, but only those that actually produce physical, static, non-disappearing text and a/v elements. Just my preference... after my 2500 videos vanished overnight, lol.

I'll try your legal page fix... but I'm thinking with HIS defaults, it's going to leave those gaping spaces where it thinks it wants a video. Just my guess... so we'll see.

It's not leaving a placeholder but it's a fairly tall space.

        http://i.imgur.com/73uxflJ.png

But it's no more space than the comments, archives, meta, categories or any other section so it matches the rest of the site and everything else on the sidebar.

        http://i.imgur.com/qJ5KcHc.png

Clearly the spaces are the same size as the area in the recent stories and top stories blocks that include videos but at least there is not a "thumbnail hole", lol.

While this may not be optimal for some folks --> I think it may fly because the blog posts are loooooong if you include your own editorial content, the RSS feeds, the related videos, some YT comments, and of course the trending now area also takes up space. We need a long sidebar to have info flow all the way down the page!

    Hello,

I an interested to find all this talk but no mention of Video Curation Pro, Peter Drew's tool that was released a few months ago. I have used Peter Drews tools before but I am wondering about if this is the best option out there or if the ones you are talking about or this new one Hydravid would be the best for me to get involved with? I am looking to use it to drive traffic and rankings to my Amazon product.

I think $40 per month for VCP is a bit steep unless if I were to be working on a range of sites all the time (which I am no longer doing). Meanwhile the $27 price for Hydravid has me concerned for the opposite reason - ie how can he maintain and keep updating this tool on the basis of customers paying only one small fee?

Has anyone any experience of these and are willing to give a review of them as I cannot find any mention other than an affiliate singing VCP's praises (for obvious reasons that are not much to do with impartiality!)

    All the best

    Sam

ps pls note I have no affiliation of any kind to any of the above tools - I am genuinely making a buying decision today about which video creation tool to get hold of.

  • Has anybody tried to unsubscribe from Hit Mission Videos Hit Mission Videos It's owned by Walter Bayliss, same guy as HydraVid. I want to unsubscribe but there is no way to do it and I am not getting any replies to my numerous emails and social media appeals.

But I will not give up. I will alert the right people and have their site removed if it goes that far.

I am actually really pissed about this.!!

I need to thank you for your post. I purchased this product in 2013 and completely forgot about it. So I emailed support and they have set me up with the latest version (which I am guessing is probably more powerful than the original).

I have not yet had a chance to test it, but will try to test it this weekend.

    Thanks again.

PS: I STILL don't get the "run it for a few days, then close it down" philosophy. The more, the merrier --- no? What's the benefit (to either the seller or the buyer) to have it shut down almost as soon as it goes up? I don't get it.
