Feeds - Login to your Google account and set up the feeds --> set them to "as it happens". Google Alerts - Monitor the Web for interesting new content Background Color - Not sure what's going on there. It's working for me just drag the little circle to the color you want and then click the color wheel and save. Site Colors - My color options are working by using the same procedure I described above. Tags - Tags are working for me and I can also add tags via the edit post option. Theme Options - For me all seem to be working except for the ad block Bryan addressed. Comments - Those may not be so easy to get rid of once posted. Hope that helps a little. If not you then you should probably contact support. Best of luck. -don

I'm happy that I can just embed the YT vids. I changed my mind and jumped in. Just don't wanna be giving anyone reason to get in bother. I'm seeing some changes taking place online lately and sites getting shut down for copyright infringement. Thanks.

I bought this a few days ago and now find that I can't download any videos at all to my server. I added the IP address as instructed in the overview video but I keep getting the "no down load link found message". Yet, I can download all the videos I wanted using free online software with no problems at all. Another thing I noticed is that there doesn't appear to be "save as Draft" option and the default wp save draft' doesn't seem to work either. This means that if you forget to do something (like add a feed or your ISP drops out) and need to go back before it's published, you lose your post and need to start again. Something else which could be improved upon is the content box which only shows the last couple of sentences of your text. It seems there is no way to view the whole article before it's published and there's no default "preview" button included with the theme. I bought the elite upsell and other than the above issues, I really like it.

I installed this on 3 different sites, not one of them allows me to upload the videos directly. But if I just use the youtube installer, it works fine, and looks great! I am off to join the focus group. Cheers! |

I have not been here in a loooong time. Spent way too much money and it was time to make some $$. BUT, having said that, I got an email just a few days ago which I would normally have deleted but it grabbed my attention. There are two places I spend WAYYY too much time on and that is Pinterest and Youtube . I have over 180 websites and some of them are on a shelf getting dusty. Right away I thought, heck if people spent that much time on my site that would be phenomenal!! You group all your videos under topics. Are you looking for inspirational videos, weight loss, everything about Jack Canfield or some tear jerking speeches by Nick Vujicic
Now back to figuring what other site I am going to put this magic dust on ![]() |

Well, I was certainly looking forward to this...but am now going to have to ask for a refund. I purchased this yesterday and found that my web host, Dreamhost, does not offer IonCube. Per the UVC developer's suggestion, I asked Dreamhost to install IonCube on my sites. Dreamhost sent me a reply with a wiki attached telling my how to do this myself. Unfortunately, the instructions are incomprehensible. Dreamhost, even, recognizes the difficulty in understanding the instructions and posts this warning on the wiki: "The instructions provided in this article or section are considered advanced. You are expected to be knowledgeable in the UNIX shell. Support for these instructions is not available from DreamHost tech support. Server changes may cause this to break. Be prepared to troubleshoot this yourself if this happens. We seriously aren't kidding about this." I know NOTHING about UNIX shell and am unwilling to attempt this. For anyone else considering UVC (which sounds great, btw) who uses Dreamhost, you should know going in about this. I just hope the developers honor the 60-day refund. Sigh... An update: I tried to send a message to "support@fueledpublishing.com" - the address supplied to me in may welcome/thank you for buying email, and it was returned as undeliverable. Does anyone know how to reach support for this product? |

Hi Bryan - how do you install it without the Quick Installer? I can't install IonCube on Dreamhost and, without IonCube, cannot run the diagnostics that UVC requires prior to use. Thanks! |

I am not sure of the general consensus. Should I get it or not? If Aidan is not contactable how does one get a refund. Anyone know if this is compatible with Namecheap hosting. Please advise, thanks.

Now, suppose I have permission to use someone's video on our site. Would it be advisable to upload that video to Amazon s3 to avoid bandwidth issues? I'm looking to run UVC on a hostgator shared account.

I have been seriously studying UVC, particularly about whether the theme will display Adsense ads. The following is surely a turn off: "Jimp1 One other thing I forgot, in the sample site shown I didn't see it being monetized. How do you see yhat being done (besides Adsense)? Build a targeted niche site and use affiliate offers for niche products targetted to that segment." If I heard it right, no Adsense ads will be displayed. Very important to me since the Adsense Program had been paying my modest living expenses. |

Cool theme but, man the support sucks. I upgraded from single site license to multi-site nearly 4 days ago and they told me they would have to upgrade my account. But still I have not received the upgrade! I have submitted 3 support tickets and still NADA! I'm starting to think I should just get a refund on the whole shebang and find another solution. If the lack of support is any indication of things to come - it does not bode well for this theme's future. |

*** Update: 3/11 - It looks like the problems with the software looks like it's pretty well resolved... I think the combination of the latest version, plus de-activating any and all plugins (on existing sites) before uploading the software and then re-activating them after is doing the trick for me now. Support can be a bit slow at times but the gal I have been working with (oksana) always tries to help and does a good job. I'm really getting to like it... even more so if/when I start seeing more traffic. One option I'd really like to see added if possible is if we could copy & paste in a particular video instead of going through tons of pages until it's found... this would save a lot of time and be a real butt kicker. Don't know for sure but my feeling is that I believe Bryan is going to keep adding to this software and keep it updated... if he does that, I'll be a happy camper. Is anyone seeing any boost in traffic yet? Or... maybe you'd want to share a tip or two? =========================================== I got this 12 days ago and I'm still going back and forth with support... I have hostgator, uploaded ok on 3 sites and then for the last 5-6 days I can't get it to download on any other sites... so support said do it manually (as support recommended) and I tried that many times and still not uploading and all I get is the same every time: Installing Theme from uploaded file: uvc-installer.zip Unpacking the package… Installing the theme… The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet. Theme install failed. Using the installer or manually installing each file and I still can't get it uploaded. I've wasted so much time with this and support and bad license keys etc. Bryan sounds like a great guy and I'd really like to use this but with 12 days of going back and forth with support has really put a toll on my nerves and unfortunately I'm at wits end and ready to get a refund. ================================ |

Hi Bryan, I watched the sales video as well as other Youtube videos on UVC (including yours). However, none of them has touched on how to monetize the sites. I appreciate if you could shed some light on these questions: 1. How have you monetized the sites you have already built? 2. What is the monthly (bare minimum) income that one can expect from one site? How much videos are needed to accomplish this? 3. How long does it usually take to start some income from a brand new site? Thank you, Sincerely, Shawn |

I just wanted to add that their support is good. I had a few questions and it was always answered within a reasonable time. Usually within 12 hours. I really dig this plugin. I like the look and design and think if done properly will have your visitors mining throughout your site. |

I'm soooooooo happy to come back here and see sooooo many people taking advantage of Bryan MacConnahea's awesome Ultimate Video Curator! Had a few computer problems that delayed my return, but also busy putting Bryan's multi-faceted tools to work. FIRST THINGS FIRST Though I need to disclose that I signed on as an affiliate, I did so as a devout user of this product... a product that I will NOT go without using on a daily basis from here until time ends, lol. It's that good. NUMEROUS UNTOLD USES UVC has numerous untold uses that no one has even touched on yet. Its use as a pure search engine, allowing you to save videos, keywords, feeds, etc. for future use is a pure goldmine. It can help you tap into your niche and save hundreds of videos one day to keep you busy for the next year using only what you researched in one day. Think about this for a minute... and ask yourself how that could help YOU with your next niche video website or local client vlog. BRYAN'S BABY This is Bryan's baby and Daddy Bryan is sure to take care of, nurture, and help his baby grow for years to come. Meaning... Bryan has spawned a treasure here, a goldmine creator all on its own, so he has every financial interest in making sure he updates it and keeps it running in top form for HIS OWN USE, as well as our use. I cannot imagine he would ever abandon his baby, lol, as it is surely a child star that will feed his family until Google decides to shut down YouTube altogether. BEFORE YOU REFUND... JUST DON'T Hey, just like you, I get tired of buying things and struggling to make them work, fighting against incompatibility problems which I can't begin to understand, haunted by a fleeting notion that maybe I'M the problem instead of the software, and finally exasperated with my own shortcomings, embarrassingly tuck tail and ask for a refund. DO NOT DO THAT HERE! Bryan has made things sooooooooooo simple to install ALL the plugins at once. So simple, in fact, that I tried to make it harder than it was. I slept on it, did it again the next day, and voila, became an instant fan of his simplicity! And of his simple plugin/theme installer! I understand that there may be a few difficulties in the beginning with those who have self-hosted servers, but even those problems can be overcome and you've got a LOT of helpful users now that can help you once you come onboard. I'm just saying... you will be missing out on one of the most useful, multi-faceted, viewer-attracting video blog post machines that's come along in a loooooooong time if you say goodbye to this prematurely. And I say that KNOWING that if you get a refund now, you WILL be back to re-purchase it again later. So keep an eye on this thread, if you simply must, knowing that one day you'll "get it" and be back to pick up where you and Bryan left off. You may lose a bit of time (and a lot of potential income) in that process, but sometimes we all need to just let a good thing soak in before we really "get it." COPYRIGHT SAFEGUARDS I think @ForumGuru and I pretty much stand in alliance on this issue in the Warrior Forum... as we both have little tolerance for infringers and the theft of intellectual property and creative works. However, you'll see we are BOTH avid users of UVC. This is a tool, a machine, that can be used like all other machines... to be used for good or not good uses. But Bryan -- like Hugh Hitchcock in his Viral Video, Content, and Image Curators -- has built in an easy-button way for you to research the origins and licensing of each video so YOU can carry out your own code of ethics and choose to respect all applicable laws or not. Your choice. The fact that you are embedding the YouTube code to each video on a blog post on YOUR site does NOT mean you have "stolen" the video, unless you have physically downloaded the video and reuploaded it to your own servers or back to YouTube WITHOUT permission from the copyright holder or owner. The pretty TV frame on your blog post is more like a television sitting in your living room. Either way, you're just viewing the video on a pretty screen made for such purposes. Your post is just the screen on which the YouTube video temporarily plays with permission from the copyright owner via them checking the box "allow embedding" when they uploaded their video to YouTube. (Check copyright laws and YT policies for exact details and specific instances where that does not apply). If you copy a TV show onto a DVD and take that DVD to play for paying customers at your business or as background "muzac" at your commercial business, then yes, you would need to get permission from the copyright owner or buy a commercial license to redistribute their "creative works." The same analogy goes for your website blog where you create a post with a video screen that plays a video you uploaded that was not owned by you. Both ForumGuru and I have given LOTS of examples elsewhere on the Warrior Forum regarding how you can prevent yourself from accidentally crossing the line with copyright issues. But this is NOT the place to go into detail about that. Suffice it to say that your focus here should be to THANK BRYAN for including such an easy way to HELP YOU do your due diligence and research the origins and copyright licensing of ALL the videos he helps you access. Bryan is helping REDUCE copyright infringement, not the other way around. Thanks, Bryan! VERSATILE MIX AND MATCH THEME/PLUGIN CAPABILITIES It's UVC's theme and plugin mix and match capabilities that have exponentially made this particular video curation tool THE BEST CHOICE for video curators. You are NOT limited to using one theme or plugin for curation. You can use Bryan's UVC plugin with whatever theme you like OR you can use it with the UVC theme OR you can use UVC along WITH other curation plugins (something I'm experimentally successfully with now). So if I were just starting out, I would make UVC my FIRST choice, followed by other free or paid curation tools, using free Wordpress themes first, THEN buying other themes. This ONE video curation tool allows you to search by keyword, pull in videos for viewing-saving-posting-curating AND pull in both video and written source material via your hand-picked RSS feeds so you'll have boocoodles of niche-targeted snippets to choose from that you can then quickly edit and curate. Folks, that is powerful stuff! And there is NO other video curation tool right now that serves all that up together in the way that Bryan's tool does. Add his "video gallery" to the mix and you've got a visually diverse array of post materials to choose from, instead of being limited to one video per post or one video plus other videos or a long slew of videos that look messy on your page. Meaning... Bryan's tool allows you to make short, tight, info-packed, visually pleasing posts that viewers can digest WITHOUT getting visually or mentally overwhelmed. Result? They'll quickly get interested in one post, then another, and another and forget they need to leave after the first half hour or more. No kidding! No amount of curated "written" content can ever have this video-trance effect! Fewer words would probably have been appreciated... but just had to add my two-cent update to what's already been said about this awesome little tool. Stellar video curation tool, Bryan! I really like your brain and your eye for what looks good on a page! ![]() Robin Carlisle |

I bought UVC and have been messing around with it for days. I've had issues with my hosting because of the exec thing; that never worked. I installed manually and thought I was getting somewhere but then the videos do not display on the homepage or on the sidebar. I can't post directly from UVC when I find a video I want; I get 'page can't be displayed' and even though I'm sure that's some failure of my own, I have looked and watched the training until I seriously can't stand the sound of Bryan's voice any longer. I have a ticket submitted, and have had one response and am still waiting for how to fix this. I'm sick of it and am not even trying again until I hear more from support. It really shouldn't be this hard should it? I bought the unlimited as well as the elite package because the concept sounds awesome. I've wasted far too much time on something that was made to sound simple. Oh well. |

Bryan, Like all the wso's the money always comes in with alittle work. Monetization is not spoken about. How do you kickstart the traffic ... wait for google or what? Whats the bewst way to monetize - banner adds adwords, text adds - links to your own affiliate links? That sort of stuff would have been better for an oto. The sales page says upload videos ... make money but we are in the real world. btw it says $27 for unlimited sites in video but the buy button says 5 sites - which is correct? Thanks |

I don't think Bryan is to interested in this thread or his product. Even his fb page is not accepting people. Now we are going to be losing google alerts and I have not heard if or what they will do with that feature in their software. We've seen these things before where people lose interest in their product and don't support it. I know he is busy working on new projects but I sure hope he doesn't just dump this one.

Why are we losing google alerts again? There's no confirmation of that anywhere. If it ever should happen (which right now there is no point in worrying about it), the software will be adjusted. Sorry, but these kinds of posts are exactly why I stay away from the WF. So much cynicism. It's understandable considering the state of the market and the players within it. It just saddens me. Btw, I don't have any new projects for the moment and UVC has been regularly updated since it's release. Not sure where you got this info. Bryan

Guys, so much negativity. You guys recently spent too much $ on good-for-nothing WSOs? I don't recall myself being so skeptic when I "found" a promising products and then "try" to see if it is working and then "refund" when I think it is not working at all (at least for me). I see no productivity at saying something like: Quote:
As a member of this system (UVC) I would like to say this system is really awesome. I am a newbie in IM and I have 2 years experience of buying a product and only to see they're not working for me or just full of empty promises, but UVC really is one good product! (even made me spent $10 to join and start posting replies to this thread )

You may friend are 100% wrong - at least with UVC - Bryan's case. Me and 3 of my SEO team members are in the FB group and we are using it daily - on contrary of what you are probably used to, it is positive and efficient place for getting assistance and sharing unbiased and no hyped data and experience! I cant see how you got to idea of Bryan dumping UVC ... Quote:

As a satisfied user of UVC including the OTO's I can honestly say the quality of the product has been above my expectations, lots of great features and suburb training. It is one of the better investments I have made, of course it requires some work and action. There were challenges, as I worked through the course, these were quickly resolved with help through our very interactive Facebook group. Brian's support is unquestionable, honest and straight forward all the way. I am proud to be associated with UVC and it's members. |

I would also like to chime in here in favor of UVC! I've bought a lot of WSO products and, unfortunately, many of them were not worth even the low cost I paid. On the contrary, UVC has been a profound exception! It's been a ray of light in a dark storm. Not only is the product itself exceptional (it works), but the support is equally exceptional! I can honestly say that I've learned more about IM in general and UVC in particular than through ANY other product I've purchsed anywhere!!! Bryan Mc has been exceptionally helpful and, in my opinion, has provided probably the best product support I've ever experienced. Moreover, his OTO is the most inclusive and well-developed I've seen. |

Seriously? I do not buy a lot of WSO's but I am getting traffic with this one and LOVE it!! Bryan is in the private group pretty well every day. He does have a life outside of Facebook and the WF as we all do right? If you do NOT have the experience then you should NOT buy anything from here. It does what he says it will do, it is a smart idea. The training has been great. The problem MOST people have had is a conflict with plug ins, lack of experience. I have been online since 1998 and rarely do I ask for a refund. But read the ad copy of all of them. Bryan was honest, he has kept his word, he responds in the facebook group. What more would you want. Kudos Bryan, for a brand new site many of mine are getting traffic but it depends on the niche you have chosen, the keywords, and the offer you make with the videos. Bryan does not deserve this flack. I am Patsy from the private Facebook group

| I bought UVC a month or so back and even with very little time I had a GREAT looking site.Personally, I think it is one of the best things I have bought lately! Bryan and his team respond ASAP to any issues and work around the clock to sort any problems out! On top of that the training is great! The FB community is strong and responsive. I LOVE IT! |

I have tried to join the mastermind group since the beginning and still have not received permission. How many times do you have to ask before you give up? @Bryan just yesterday I set up a new UVC and when I set up the alerts the google box came up and told me on July 1, 2013 the alerts will not longer exist. |

I LOVE UVC!! And the support is PHENOMENAL!! CoachBob and others you need to set up a site with 5 video's BEFORE you are allowed to join the private FB focus group. For a good reason. If you are not willing to watch the training and do the work then why should you be allowed to participate? And the Elite Coaching is GREAT!! I have spent tens of thousands of dollars over the last decade on WSO's and other marketing tools. This is BY FAR AND AWAY THE VERY BEST!! |

OK, are you sure that his wasn't for Google Reader? If you are using google reader feed links (ie. clicking on the orange icon takes your to Google Reader) then you may have mistaken them for Google Alerts. Google feed reader is closing, Google Alerts is not. UVC doesn't use anything related to Google Feed Reader. Also, I have scoured both of my FB message boxes. I don't have anything older than 1 day. If you resend your request, maybe I'll get it this time. http://facebook.com/fueledbryan - and don't forget the requirements laid out in the video and the instructions for applying for access to the group. Also when you send your request, please remind me that it is your from the WF. I don't know what else I can do for you, bud. Thanks, Bryan

I usually check the WF before buying any program and I did so with this program. After reading a few of the earlier posts I had pretty much made up my mind to pass this one because there seemed to be so many unhappy folks. Also I had just recently purchased another video curation product and felt I did not need another. Fortunately I stuck around long enough to read the posts from others who were happy with this product. I am glad that I did. I purchased this product two days ago and have added it to three of my domains which are hosted at Hostgator. It is an instant install of theme and all the necessary plugins using the install plugin. While I have not completely set up any of the sites yet I feel that this program produces everything it has promised and more. The only problem I encountered was one of the sites had no header and I scratched my head a while till I figured out that it was because I deleted the standard default post that comes with Wordpress as I always do before doing any other work on the site. I added a test post and the header appeared as it should. I believe this is a definite "keeper" Chet Hastings |

@Bryan I did follow instructions once before and we ended up friending each other on FB. Not sure what else needs to be completed, but I will. 3 Steps that I thought I followed, oh well, you now have a message on FB. Thanks for your help |

I'll just add my six pennyworth if I may... I also bought the original UVC package and the Elite training course which I have yet to finish BTW. As a professional trainer I have to say that I have never found any other training as in-depth and as scientifically organised as this - this is the real deal as far as I'm concerned. To be honest, I don't care how old Bryan is - my kids are in their 30s - this guy knows his stuff and I respect him for it. As for conflicts, I have had no issues so far apart from one which I am sure was caused by a dodgy plug-in I bought and installed - and have now removed. I even have another curation tool installed on the same site without any problems. So, as I believe you can only speak as you find, UVC gets the thumbs-up from me and I will be building a lot of these sites in the future. |
