SBI not for me, and why..

I want others thinking of buying in, to know my experience with SBI.

I did the 1 month (or pay-by-the-month) thank goodness. Two things happened, when I asked to have my money back, that proved I was making the right decision.

1. In Ken's video, he says money-back-guarantee, no questions asked(I received a letter a page long after writing SBI asking for a refund as I didn't feel I needed SBI to do what I wanted as far as a website biz, and here is part of it:

"Unless it is something that is beyond my assistance, I

> > > not work." Of course, we'd love to have you return and use
> > > SBI! to succeed at that time. But please..."

2. I was told I would be refunded but it may be a different amount then I paid due to exchange rates(so I will let you know how much of my 29.99 I actually get back).

I agree with those that say SBI has some good information, but also that it is not for everyone. I would only suggest that if you like the sound of SBI, you too, only buy in for a month at a time due to the "refund" situation as well as finding out if you "need" SBI. I also read til I couldn't read anymore and found I already had "the right stuff" without paying someone else for it.

Denise

PS I will provide the letters to anyone that wants to see them. No reason to make this up. Also, if you are happy with SBI than I am happy for you. Again, I just would like "someone like me" to know it may not be for them.

    Hi Denise

Would you publish the email response from Sitesell following your request for a full refund, it would be interesting to see the lengths they will go to persuade you to stay?.

Yes, I'll paste the letter in here. Also, I replied to the letter by quoting what Ken says in his video and she wrote me back a very quick response saying I would receive the refund. I think that is the note that tells about the amount may not be the same. I'll snip and paste both letters in below:Attachment 16944

Hi Denise, I also in December subscribed to SBI. Paid full year. I spent hours and hours reading. I also found that it was designed for people who are truly ignorant of website development and Internet Marketing in general. I also found that the business model that Ken provides do have a place in this World.

The above being said, I requested a refund bout 30 days after. I received a letter similar to yours (but if I owned the business I would do the same and try to persuade my customer to change his or her mind). Nevertheless, I communicated with support and received a full refund within three (3) days. I got back exactly what I paid. The transaction was quite 'hiccup free'. Just thought that I should advise of my experience.

That's great that it happened that way for you. I wonder if it maybe depends on "which" Customer Support you happen to get when you contact them. Thanks for sharing. I don't want to be unfair. One thing though and that is if Ken is going to tell me that there will be no questions asked or "no pressure" to stay I expect that to happen. May be foolish to expect anything in this world but I still believe there is honesty and integrity. Obviously for you, it was shown. Denise
