Tools - Supplying Services to Offline Businesses
Okay folks.... I am casting a big net here. I THINK I have a pretty good idea what's available and SOME idea what really works <grin>... but am hoping to pick your minds. Here's the deal:
We operate a membership site for local businesses that provides digital resources (training, ebooks, tutorials, themes, plugins, software, etc...). We offer multiple monthly membership levels but are considering adding an additional a more expensive plan that include a range of periodic services.
The services MIGHT span the range of typical "offline marketer" services and many conventional business services (press release writing, SWOT, business planning,... etc...) The vision is to keep the memberships affordable with value added services that don't break the time, money and emotional capitol banks. If you aren't careful... labor will eat your lunch... We hope to pick services that can be largely automated... or reduce the labor to manageable levels.
To this end, I have been reviewing my current s/w holdings and looking at the rest of the field... Bottom line... My goal is to find a collection of tools that I can use to provide discreete services to local businesses. The more automated.. the better. The more integrated... the better. If they are relatively basic automated services that offer potential for a premium upgrade (not so automatic) that's okay too.... Everything is potentially within scope:

What I am hoping for is some lessons learned on what works and doesn't... simple pointers to products/tools/resources will be great too!
