Default Ryan Deiss Total Access Club..Don't alllow You To Cancel Subscription?!!!

Hello

I had tried TAC by Ryan Deiss, and it's a good site, but I'm done with it and don't want to continue paying $97/month.

I contacted the support for cancellation 4 days before the billing date, I didn't receive any response and my tickets are still open, then, yesterday I found that I've been charged again for this subscription, as if I didn't request cancellation and everything is going normal!!!

I respect Ryan, but how he charges someone who requested not to be charged, is this what he calls " forced continuity", to force people to pay you against their will?

Anyone has the same experience with this site?
Anyone knows how I can stop this?

Ahmed

This is off topic but I read your post as "Ryan Dies"! Well, I see that
he is still alive and well.

I'm sure he probably didn't see your cancellation request. This kind of stuff happens. Just submit another ticket. Explain to them. Then ask them to refund that last payment. Don't let it bother you. It's an easy fix.

Iīm sure Ryan didnīt see it as heīs an ethical
marketer in my book.

Now I think a member should be able to cancel
their membership easily and immediately and
no need to waste any more time than he did
to join.

Unfortunately thatīs too common these days.

For this exact reason I have decided not to
join some memberships where this is not clear.

Thanks everyone (special thanks for you Brad)

I've no doubt that Ryan is an ethical marketer, he is one among few I trust in this feild, but I think he has to have a look on his support stuff, it's not the first issue with them,
I hope he can find this post here and revise it with them

Totally agree with you, and that's why I pass many good offers these days, because of the forced continuity and the lack of clarity about billing/cancellation subject

Exactly, just call his office, and everything will be fine.

Don't worry, and just ask a refund for your latest installement, and that's it...

Last thing, I hope you put what you learned to USE?

this is even more important than your refund...

4 days might not be enough for the support staff to react.

I don't see any reason for a marketer not honor the refund, especially if it paid via credit card.

If you use Paypal you never have to worry about this. Just go to your Paypal account and cancel the subscription.

Yes, I think Ryan Deiss is an ethical marketer. I'm taking issue with him and his support team though as I cant see what value I get in the way of New Content for $97 for the month of September compared with August. What's on the site is great, and well worth joining, but not worth continuing if new content isnt added each month that's worth the description.

I also agree that support isnt always that helpful and that's maybe because TAC support is run by Infomastery LLC who also run twelve sites including "What's working now", part of TAC.

Here's the text of my support ticket at drivingtraffic.zendesk.com - let's see what they come back with! Will post their reply

Thank you for giving Total Access Club a fair try. Unfortunately you are outside our generous guarantee period, so I am unable to process your request for a refund.
Obviously we want to do everything we can (within reason) to keep you as a satisfied customer. If there’s anything else we can do to satsify you, please don’t hesitate to reply and let me know
    Best regards,
    Gabby

Hi, I am happy to stay with TAC for my second month if I can find NEW content worth the $97!. Maybe as a newcomer to TAC I'm not looking in the right place, so could you please tell me what new posts have been made for September over August and where to look which justify the subscription! If there have been no, or few new posts, then I will persist in asking you for a refund.

I've posted this ticket on the Warrior Forum and will post a copy of your reply.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks

Peter

Peter,

This is a REVIEW forum, not a place to settle disputes.

I can see that you are making a genuine review point about what you say is the lack of new content. But disputes, however valid they seem to you, are not allowed on here. I haven't 'zapped' the post but consider this a gentle warning ;-)

Pearson

Pearson, thanks for the gentle warning Point taken. If anyone has been part of TAC for a while and knows how to find the new content each month, or has any views on the value of new content posted each month, I'd be interested to read them. Peter
