Aweber - What's the big deal?
There are so many small clunky things about, it looks so old, it lacks a lot of basic features that seem obvious to me (e.g.: requiring double opt in if their web form system isn't used, better reporting and graphing, and a few others).
I assume the ultimate answer "it has high deliverability"... which is ultimately the most important "feature"... but it seems the other solutions like Campaign Monitor or Mad Mimi would maintain that deliverability, while also having lots of additional helpful features.
I'm a noobie with all of this... I'm just surprised at how mediocre to average it seems contrasted with all the glowing reviews about it and how much it is used by such big names...
I'm a newbie and assume I'm wrong... but what am I missing?
