Default Any experience with SEO Content Network

I just read from one of the SEO gurus blog post regarding SCN or Seo Content Network. He said that it is really a good marketing tool and its more on a blog posting platform. I'm trying to find a review on this program, yes I found review but only tool.

Do you have any experience with this platform?

It was probably written by the owner or someone working for the company, doesn't look like they have an affiliate program - or at least not publicly advertised.

No affiliate link... He's just suggesting that's the tool he used to make his webpage recover from panda.

Are you familiar with it? Doesn't have enough social proof and the service is pricey

Tip Re: Any experience with SEO Content Network

I am one of the owners of SEO Content Network dot com and if you are interested in finding out more I am more than happy to discuss it with you.

Please note that we do not own any of the sites that have Negative or Positive reviews about SCN. (Yes we have both)

To give you a quick overview, SCN is a Syndication Service, where we take the content our customers input into the system and then syndicated it from as little as 5 up to 300 different sites out of thousands we have. We are very similar to a press release service, we quote all our content (like a press release or news service) and end with Attribution. To follow Google's TOS all syndicated content from non-authority sites is NoFollow.

Syndicated material from "Authority Sites" are DoFollow links. Authority sites include:

Pinterest
Facebook Fan Pages
URLs of Tweets on Twitter
Google+ posts
Reddit
Amazon
Press Releases (PRweb, newswire, etc)
YouTube Videos
etc.

We have had many customers who were very successful with SCN and some who have not been.

*This service is Not a get rich quick over night service.
*This service is Not a rank your sites in a few weeks service.
*This service cannot over come sites with poor onsite optimization.
*This service is meant for you to use to manipulate Google's algorithm and pass on Page Rank!

-This service Will share/syndicate your content to our vast network of sites.
-This service Allows you to Embed Videos on each Submission
-This service Allows you to Embed Images on each submission
-This service should only be used by those creating new quality content on a daily basis.
-This service is meant for those who understand the value of putting quality content on as many different sites so that the readers on those sites will want to "click through" to the original site.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Nofollow links don't pass pagerank

Most authority sites are nofollow so even in a tiered way pretty useless for passing pagerank.

2 year old analytic reports but no way to verify it cause url data is filtered out

Claims that the network drives traffic but nothing to back it up.

Hardly ranking power cause of the nofollow tag.

Draw your own conclusions....

Lightbulb Re: Any experience with SEO Content Network

As most know Google has changed their algorithm again, and also their own TOS.

Google use to say that "In general, webmasters can improve the rank of their sites by increasing the number of high-quality sites that link to their pages."

Google has changed that too "by creating high-quality sites that users will want to use and share."

And SCN shares content, just as Google wants.

Even though Google says "traffic" isn't part of the algorithm, many who have done private experiments with this very issue would tell you that traffic with a decent on page time + a good CTR increase their rankings. So in that sense, SCN helps generate traffic to a site and as long as the site is onsite optimized and the content is good, their traffic will increase.

Also, even though many of the "Authority sites" only have "NoFollow" links that point back to our customer sites, most of the "Authority Sites" are also types of Search Engines, and SCN helps increase our customer sites rankings in these "Authority Sites"/"Other Search engines" which in of itself can increase traffic. But don't be fooled, Google considers links on Authority Sites rather high and links on these sites are important to all search engines.

SCN is of no value to those who want a quick buck now, but our customers do see results and they do so quicker than when they didn't use SCN.

We are always testing our services to ensure they are effective while still not causing our customers any harm.

You're the one comparing it to a press release service.

So you claim your network is full of authority sites? Why not show us then? Google won't respond to a spam report when it concerns an authority site.

You talk that it's not for people who want to make a quick buck but your analytic screenshots show HUGE pikes in traffic, that would give me the idea that my traffic increases with like 600% within a week, sounds pretty much like a quick buck to me. I mean you went from as good as zero visits to 600/day within a week time.

Honestly, it sounds to me like some new ALN/FBL type of network. One authority site would cost you many thousands of dollars to develop, still you claim you have 1000's of such sites, that would cost millions of dollars, your company exists since 2011 but no one ever heard of it before.

Something is just a tiny bit off here

Authority sites would be:

Pinterest
Facebook Fan Pages
URLs of Tweets on Twitter
Google+ posts
Reddit
Amazon
Press Releases (PRweb, newswire, etc)
YouTube Videos
etc.

When I stated "Also, even though many of the "Authority sites" only have "NoFollow"" I was talking about Facebook, Twitter, etc, not our sites.

We offer "DoFollow" links to Authority sites,I said we have quality sites, not authority like the ones I just mentioned in the list above.

I use press releases as an example, not an "exact match".

We are a unique service, and we have had customers report spikes like the ones we showed on our site, but those who "spiked" that quickly are unique. Most what occurs with SCN customers is that they see results at a faster rate than the normal bell curve of what is normally seen. But results differ from customer to customer, depending on how they use the service.

Niko has a lot of good points here. But I just wanted to point out that nofollow does seen to pass pagerank, at least from my fat results it has. I can still see results from thousands of no follow links.

But yeah, something fishy about the network.

Slin and anyone else PM and I would be happy to discuss some of this privately with you!

We are a legit service, and we have many happy customers. We are always having our services tested and currently have 40 different sites (owned by others) testing out the effectiveness of our service as we are always trying to improve the results our customers are getting.

Post Re: Any experience with SEO Content Network

Look's like SEO Content Network receiving bad feed backs. But I love the way "liberaldrew" explain their tool. My guru also said that this tool (SEO Content Network) is really good, easy to use/user friendly and fast result. Now I will purchase this tool for fast ranking even though at first I have doubt in using it.

Please read my blog posts kevinklau dot com and empowernetwork dot com/kevinklau. Thank You

So in other words, it's a nofollow public blog network that covers its tracks by linking out to Facebook. See how easy that was.

It doesn't post customers content to FaceBook. SCN has thousands of site customers content is posted too. It is DoFollow when linking to authority sites like: Google+, Facebook fan pages, YouTube Channels, YouTube video etc! Seo Content Network is NoFollow to everything else!

They're still used at my agency for throwaway content. This despite the fact that we often disavow our OWN guest posts just months or weeks after they go live. Insanity...

I don't think you need any tool to recover website from panda. Just make sure to remove any duplicate content from the website and wait for Google to show its magic. Google release panda refresh after every month,

SEO Content Network dot com isn't like "the other networks". Which I have explained previously.

People still use SEO Content Network dot com because of how we are so unique and follow googles terms of service.

SEO Content Network:
-Syndicates customers content
A) Blog posts
B) Videos
C) Images
D) Etc. (Articles, press releases, Facebook/google+ articles and more)
-Syndication includes giving proper attribution
A) Using quote marks
B) Showing the URL the info came from
C) using appropriate do follow and no follow keyword links
- Follows Googles Terms of Service on types of keyword links
A) Do Follow keyword links to authority sites/social sites
B) No Follow links to all other sites

By doing this SEO Content Network is following Googles Terms of Service. Because of the way we do things our service and our sites actually help our customers.

Matt Cutts says "would you do this if the search engines didn't exist?" My answer is yes, I want my content on as many different sites to increase the possibility of as many different people could see it and possibly click on the links to come to my site!

SEO Content Network dot com doesn't do guest blog post. SEO Content Network syndicates customers own content and putative on sites by following googles terms of service about syndication and back linking!

SEO Content Network:
-Syndicates customers content
A) Blog posts
B) Videos
C) Images
D) Etc. (Articles, press releases, Facebook/google+ articles and more)

Panda is about duplicate content on your own site!

SEO content network dot com syndicates your content to other sites by following googles terms of service and rules about syndication. Thus no panda penalty from using SEO Content Network dot com!
