Default Can you suggest a great PPC product for beginners?

I want to start with PPC, but I am looking for something that is good for someone new to PPC.

Any suggestions are welcome.

I would highly recommend starting with Howie Jacobsons Adwords for Dummies book ($16 from amazon, new edition will be published in July 09) plus his free Adwords ER ebook from his site and also Perry Marshall's site and ebook ($50), Glen Livingston also has some good stuff, including free MP3s but less aimed at beginners.

I'm sure there are a lot of good eBooks on PPC, but without a mentor most people will struggle, waste their time and then give up.

That's why you really need to join a program like PPC Formula 2.0 from Gauher Chaudry or PPC Classroom 2.0.

I am with PPC Classroom 2.0 and the modules and mentoring is really very good.

Hope this helps...

Agree, Google Learning Center is the best. However, if you need more help, try PPC Coach.

Not really, many of them are good, but they all cost money. Perry Marshall's stuff is probably excellent.

Ok, this is the best "starting point" for anyone looking to get into Adwords. Perry's course is, hands down, the best place you can begin. There are far more in depth courses that teach more specific strategies, but Perry's course gives you a solid foundation. Here's the link: Download "The Definitive Guide to Google AdWords"!

... and they're right, Gauher's stuff is EXCELLENT once you go through Perry's course.

Good luck.

Brad

I think that if you are looking to invest some money to learn PPC advertising, then i would not personally suggest a ebook. I would probably go for something that has video content, as not only is it more "visual" but it just makes more sence. I am not saying that ebooks won't help, but videos in my opinion are a better choice.

The one thing you should do is have some patience, don't just start purchasing courses one after another, and do your du-dillegence and find that perfect one.

Hope it helped,
Ishan

Default 1 by 1.....

Start with Perry Marshall's book from amazon, then stop buying anything, read, implement before you buy your next guide.....

Tip Re: Can you suggest a great PPC product for beginners?

After taking the PPC Classroom (back in March`09) I became a instant fan of using Google AdWords to MMO for a couple of reasons:
  • PPC get FAST RESULTS, I didn't want it to take 10-12 Months to make my first $50,000 building a list & submitting a ton of articles
  • Even Noobs like me can make money with PPC if you buy and use the right set of keyword research tools & follow the right formula
I spent way more than I wanted too on keyword tools, but luckily, I got my hands on a killer combo, that's easy to use and gets the results I was looking for. I took a screen shot of the KW tools I've bought and tested.

From my experience, Keyword ESP and Micro Niche Finder is the perfect combo!

Chuck may be a geek, but he's smart as hell.
James has a funky accent, but his tool is butt simple, even I can do it.

Good luck and if you want to compare notes, leave me a comment on my blog and we can go from there.

Ditto, the thing is freaking awesome! Saves me a TON of time. However, I wouldn't use it until you've gotten a basic PPC education from Perry Marshall's stuff. Google's own stuff is just OKAY because there's a lot they don't teach you. Once you've gotten the basics out of the way start off small. AFter I got the basics down I learned a hellavalot more by simply DOING it. Keep in mind that sometimes even ONE word in your PPC ad can make a huge difference. And never forget to have at least two ads going per keyword so you can test conversions. Good luck Shay!
