Veerotech Stablehost of MDD?

After the fiasco I had with Hostgator yesterday with my reseller hosting account going down, and finding out that a lot of other users are having similar problems, I am looking to switch to another provider.

I have narrowed it down to:
  • Veerotech
  • Stablehost
  • MDD

I would love to hear from anyone who has had any experience with any/all of these.

I am leaning toward Veerotech because they have multiple backups and use LiteSpeed servers.

Thanks

I have been using Veerotech for about 2 months now. Can't complain. They have no chat function that I can see but are pretty quick about getting back to me on technical questions or issues. I went with them because they have come on here and answered tons of my presale questions, will tell you the competitors they like as well and you get a few upgrades in level 2 reseller like the free WHMCS account. I am using their form builder for a couple of my clients.

Their servers are in Dallas even though they are in Raleigh, NC which to me is good since Dallas is a good area for running a data center (stable power, multiple fiber connections and no seismic risks). They are a little smaller company which I appreciate.

Hi there - don't want to derail the thread since you're considering my own company however, if you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

As for MDD & StableHost - both of these I'd recommend as well, even as direct competitors!

Regarding our backups, I'm glad that you've taken notice to this. These are crucial elements for any web designer, developer, business and any website owner. Our goal here is to provide multiple avenues of recovery should a disaster happen be it a server failure, natural disaster or a simple hacked/compromised website. At the end of the day, our customers' business is our business. We're also prepping to release an entirely new lineup of backup & storage options for our virtual server & dedicated server customers as well.

If you have any questions, please let me know. You can certainly reach me here on the forum, through our site or directly at brent@veerotech.net

Thanks for the recommendation here, greatly appreciated. You're correct, at the time, we don't offer chat support as it's better to utilize our ticketing system for troubleshooting & documentation. Chat & phone support are in the works for the next year.

Also glad to see you're happy with our services.
