I have been using JVZoo some time and though I have been critical of there site at times to my colleagues (and there support) I find there system quite useful. Because I have been openly critical of there system in the past I thought it only fair that I publicly post the reasons why I expect to continue using them.

1) Creating a product is very easy with JVZoo

2) They have lots of tools that are extremely useful, one of my favorite is there sales funnel tool. Its super simple to create a deep sales funnel with JVZoo.

3) They have reoccurring payments via PayPal. Some systems dont have reoccurring payments at all, and several dont have it with PayPal. JVZoo has both, which is quite cool.

4) Protected downloads. This in itself makes them worth using. I know other systems have protected downloads as well but that does not take away the fact that JVZoo has them and there easy to use.

5) Instant payments. Affiliates love instant payments because they get there cash now. I love instant payments because I dont have to manually pay affiliates. Its a win / win.

6) Fast answers to support. I have gotten answers to questions at 9pm on a Sunday. Night support is cool, weekend support is also cool, and both together is very cool.

Something that many people might not realize is that JVZoo is actually great for products you dont even have affiliates for. I find that I use JVZoo for products that I dont intend to have affiliates for.

Why would I do this? Because for a few cents off the price of each sale (or for a small flat fee up front) JVZoo will handle the payment processing, the secure download, the hit tracking, auto responder integration and the sales funnel for me.

As a developer I can write my own system to do this but quite simply the cost that JVZoo charges is lower than what I would value my time to do it myself. If your not a developer and you will find they having them do all this for you can be a lot less costly than hiring a programmer.

Anyway Im not affiliated with JVZoo or anything like that. You wont see any JVZoo links here .. lol .. Its just that as I said I have been openly critical of them to some people in regards to there website functionality (even though I use them) and I thought it would be only fair to point out why despite some website bugs I still find them an excellent choice not only for affiliate products but for non affiliate products.

Fair of you to post both sides of the argument.

Yes, no solution like JVZoo is perfect. That's why they can all still exist. Some do things better than the other. But from my own experience with Warrior Plus and JVZoo, I think they are both great. From time to time they have their ups and downs but what service doesn't. They have allowed me (and many other marketers out there) to make a lot of money.

And we all like that, right?

I think the major problem with JVzoo is that it's user base is not categorizing their products correctly. JVzoo easily has the potential to become the Clickbank of 2013+, yet it's 95% Internet Marketing and Make Money Online.

    For Example:

I log into my JVzoo account and visit the Affiliates > Find Products page.
    I select the Cooking/Food category.

At this point on Clickbank, you would find Recipe Books, Cooking Instruction Books, and other informational resources that teach about Cooking and Food.

On JVzoo, the first product is "Drip Fed Recipe Blog". It continues with...

"Micro Niche - Health and Weight Loss Niche"
    "Summer Gear PLR WSO"
    "Weight Loss PLR Ebook Package"
    "Healthy Recipes PLR"

I'm not in the Cooking/Food market, but if I was... These products wouldn't help my customers at all. They don't have websites for PLR. They want to learn how to Cook, Bake, or do Food related things.

Other than that... I can't say anything negative about JVzoo. They are easy to work with, have loads of useful features, it's completely free to start your account and even set up product campaigns. They charge per sale, though still less than Clickbank.

Just wish people would stop being stupid and use it for more than the IM / MMO markets.

I had one of the first product launches with JV Zoo when they first came out... I think they'd only been around for a week and I got JV Zoo product of the day. It's kinda special to me ahah... that being said I've moved on to zaxaa because they freakin rock and it's absolutely free to use. Not many affiliates on there yet so for launches on the warrior forum I'll probably use JV Zoo or Warrior Plus, but for my funnels outside of the launch space I'll definitely be using zaxaa.

I'm just starting to explore JVZoo, and your comments above have been very helpful.

As I mainly operate in the IM field, I think I'll probably take the plunge, but need to investigate a bit more.

I'll take a look at Zaxaa too, as I'd never heard of it till now.

      Thanks to all of you.

Hi all. Yeh, I used JVzoo for the first time, selling a product for Glen Hooke. I made 19 sales and thought that was OK... OK until I tried to collect my MONEY!
I tried to contact the vendor on numerous occasions but to no avail. I contacted JVzoo and they told me it's between me and the vendor! What? So what is their purpose then?

I sold for the same vendor through CB and didn't have a problem, but then the product category was pulled off of CB. I was then invited to JVzoo to keep selling the product. While it sold OK on JVzoo, getting my money is another story!

So my advice: If you use JVZoo to promote products, check with the vendor first before you sell anything. You want to make sure that the vendor will pay you what's owed, after all your hard work is done! Forget JVZoo, because they won't do anything - all responsibility is passed to the vendor... So what is their job?!

The first clue something is up, is when the vendor NEVER responds to your emails!

Update: 1 day after this post, here is the response I received...

Subject: [Automated Notification] Expect manual payment of $99.12 for 4 transactions From: Glen Hooke

Glen Hooke has reported that $99.12 in commissions from 4 transactions will be manually paid to you through PayPal Mass Payment

If you have any questions regarding this payment please contact Glen Hooke by replying to this message.

          And My response...

Out of 19 sales? Any reason for this, as I believe the vast amount of those sales has already passed the refund period and not to mention, the delayed payment type!

Is there anything any different to when I was promoting this product on Clickbank? The difference here is that loyalty is enforced by CB, while JVZoo exemplifies all responsibility!

Anyhow, thanks for the measly payment... It should at least cover SOME of what I've already lost on PPC promoting YOUR product! Is there an ETA on when I will see "what you are paying?"
          ...

And after all that, he only deposited $49.50!

Hope this helps someone NOT make the same mistake as I. or at least, don't jump straight into something without giving it some thought!

          Pierro
