Hi Since the warriorforum always has helped me I try here for some advice. I am looking for a dedicated server who can support the following: 5-10,000 vistors on site at the same time, filling out forms upload videos/music so (FFmpeg needed) and site must work fast and never have problems handle that traffic. I have looked at iweb.com and cPanel Website hosting, Reseller hosting, VPS Hosting, Dedicated Server hosting and FFmpeg Hosting by AptHost. However what is it I should look for here. I am not a server expert. I assume I need a fast CPU, over 2 GB RAM and 100 Mbps port speed. What more? Is there any warriors who have server for this? I need this yesterday so any advice I would appreciate. Thanks, Daniel |

Hi Daniel, Here is what I suggest. I have a customer that recently signed up and had similar requirements. Below is what he had for specs Core2Quad 4 gig ram (or 8 if in the budget) 2 x 500(raid 1) cPanel 100 mbps switch I believe he will be upgrading his hard drive space fairly soon, as his site is growing pretty heavily. Good luck on your search. |

Who did you end up going with? Was it a managed server?
