Google? How do I use it? Whether it can be fully functional as is generally the autoresponder?

There are only 2 that I believe are worth considering if you want full funcitonality and, most importantly, high deliverability.

The first is mailchimp. It is free for up to 2000 subscribers I believe. It's very high tech and has great deliverability. The only downside is that it's only free for broadcasts. Which means you can't automatically have messages sent out directly after an opt-in. However, once you have subscribers on your list, you can schedule unlimited broadcasts to that list. They will also let you import lists under certain conditions (most email service providers won't do this any more).

The other one is Listwire. I've not used it but there is some very comprehenisive information on this forum including from the owner himself. just type 'listwire' into the forum search.

If you want a fully functional Auto-responder without ads in your emails then this seems like the one to go for. I understand deliverability is up there with the best.

    Hope that helps :-)

      Thanks for the mention...

There are a few free services out there, and MailChimp isn't one of them. They're in the category of offering a free trial up to X number of subscribers, after which time, you end up paying for the service or they cut you off...

MailChimp is a great service, with awesome features... but they have one issue that could be a big problem for the majority of people on this forum. They DO NOT allow ANY kind of affiliate marketing... period!

If you're an affiliate for anything, even Amazon books, they're going to have a problem with that, and close your account if you get caught.

With List Wire, we're 100% pro affiliate marketing, and will let your list grow to any size without shutting you down, or ever charging you...

It all depends what you're looking for I guess...

Listwire is the best free autoresponder without any doubt. But, of course, it still doesn't have a lot of the features aweber has. For me the worst thing about listwire is that subscribers must double optin and there is no way around this. Anyway, I use listwire myself and being a free service I thinks it's simpley awasome

        List Wire
        Hello,
I have a small list on one of the non-free autoresponder services. Can I transfer my lists from there to listwire account?

        Thanks,
        Hannu

  • You can use Getresponse (Free Trial up to 300k Customer), Listwire (100% Free) and MailChimp (Free 12,000 emails a month to a list of up to 2,000 subscribers).

MailChimp is free for 500 subscribers and around 3000 emails for 30 days as a trial. Getresponse is also the best option with great features.
