I can't believe no one's replied.

RAP is powerful and a great way to release products. I'm actually migrating my sites (slowly) to RAP sites.

Another great option is SimpleMemberPro.

What I like about these sites is the fact you can sell one-time-fee products but deliver everything in a "members" area. If you add bonuses, you can simply upload them to the area and tell everyone to log in. When they do....OTO (again). Possibilities are endless.

You really can't go wrong with either one. They are both great for the way they work, but are different in use. Depends on what your business model is.

SMP is more stand alone as a membership site that has many features built in. RAP is designed to be able to sell multiple products from one domain with a central admin area. It has a membership addon that will quite a bit on it's own.

Both have top notch support, ongoing development and very active users forum. I have used both and know Sid and Johnny to be top notch professionals to deal with.

I think idf after checking out their sales page, if you have any questions, contact them and I am sure they will be glad to help.

Either way, you can't go wrong.

RAP rocks...

Just saw this post, and am here to add my two cents worth...

RAP, aka Rapid Action Profits (link goes to my blog, with extensive posts on RAP),
is simply awesome. I've been a RAP user since before it was publicly available and
have seen nothing but improvements along the way. As soon as something is needed
to "expand" its capabilities, Sid Hale (the author of the script) is there to get it done.

I really like the notifications I get daily, via the admin panel, of the sales made and
payments received in my Paypal account!

I have been thinking about pulling the trigger on RAP.. but I am not sure if my lack of an email list... which only consists of my mom and my great aunt lilly out in nevada ...
you think I'm kidding no really that is all I got .... ughhh.
So is something like RAP predicated on having a huge list ?

The secret is in the list (but NOT yours).

EVERYONE would like to have a larger list - even those with huge ones. That's why you see launches that involve affiliates and JV Partners. It allows someone to reach more than just their own list!

So don't let the lack of list stop you. Even if you had one, it wouldn't include your whole market. That's the whole reason merchants (whether guru or newbie) enlist affiliates to help broaden their reach into the marketplace.

One of the beauties of selling your own product is that is helps you create/grow your list. Every buyer gets added to your list, and you can market related products to them on the backend. RAP not only helps you set up your product for sale - it also helps you grow a responsive list, and manage affiliates and JV Partners.

Hi there,

I'm a RAP's customer and it's the best decision I've ever made.

I can setup my products with ease now, there's a little bit of a learning curve but once you've setup and first one you truly are rocking n rolling.

Oh yeah and the support is second to none, both John (the RAP doctor) and Sid (the developer/owner) who have posted above have helped me enormously in the RAP's support forum and gone out of thier way to help me....not that I'm special, they just help everyone like that.

So I would say don't think about it, just get yourself over to RAP's and purchase it now.....you wont regret it.

You'll notice that I haven't add my affiliate link or anything I'm just giving you my opinion.

We use RAP on many of our sites, and it is one heck of a script. There are some really cool add-ons as well. It's great for setting up affiliate programs, and automates the delivery of your products. I don't have a single bad thing to say about it

I have to admit that when I was looking for the first time ever at RAP (Rapid Action Profits) I was unsatisfied not with its name but with the abbreviation.

I know it's silly, but it almost made me NOT to buy the script. I really do not like that 'music?'...

However, I cannot say more than this:
I am very, very glad I eventually did it.

The script itself, as any other work of its kind, is not perfect, BUT perfectible. The beauty is that someone (Sid Hale, the developer) thought of a great way to enhance it endlessly.

Think of RAP as similar with WordPress in the respect that just as WP has plugins, RAP has addons.
It is an open architecture that allows anybody with the necessary skills and talent to hook into its inner gears and make a new piece of code work flawlessly together with the main core.

I hail you, Sid Hale, for this way of working!

I also hail all the other developers that already added so much value to RAP until now.

I don't want to list them all here, simply because I'm afraid I might leave someone outside and I'd hate myself for that...

I am not an addon developer myself, but my company also made a piece of software that would help any RAP (also 7DS) user to achieve the goal of getting a site up and ready to sell in a matter of minutes, when fully mastered.

If you want to work with RAP or you already are doing it, Template Genie would certainly help you achieve your goals faster and easier:

I am proud to have been able to add something to the whole RAP community.
I am also very proud that I had no refund requests until now and I have very happy customers.

RAP has an option that will integrate with most autoresponder
services, and the truly great thing about that is that these people
(for the most part, depending on YOUR setup) will be BUYERS!

I can tell you as an addition to this, that I, for one, ceased to use the services of expensive AR providers like AWeber or GetResponse.

The AR service I'm using has very high delivery rates and only costs less than $9 / month (which is by far more affordable than the rest, don't you think?...)

I had no problems to integrate it into RAP. It works perfectly. I am very, very satisfied!
