Last week I stumbled upon 'Lead Finder Jack':

Lead Finder Jack JV Announcement | Lead Finder Jack JV

I'm surprised that I cant find any information on it other than the reviews made by their affiliates. If it really does what it claims to be doing for that price I'm sure there will be a lot of interest for it amongst marketers?

Anyone looked into it?

IF you can't find any information they stay away. If they do not disclose what it is about then it means that it is something obvious that you can get for free for elsewhere. If the software was that good they would have given a demo or at least disclose what it does. Those testimonials probably are fake if you can't find any info.

No I know what it does and there are a bunch of reviews online available, but I'm wondering why nobody on this forum is talking about it, because it looks like a super awesome tool.

This is a pretty decent review (not affiliated with him):

It launches tomorrow. That's why only the JV stuff is about. JV's positioning for launch.

scottlin's right -- this is scheduled to launch today, August 13th, at 11 am (ET).

If you search for "lead finder jack," you'll also find some tutorials. So if you're at all interested, you have about an hour to get somewhat educated about it prior to its launch . . .

I just got in but it's already late for the day, I need to sleep. Managed to install and take a glimpse, although I am in LFJ for the mobile detection thing. I am in mobile marketing business.

I don't like buying anything that I cannot read reviews about. I guess I am so used to purchasing from the Warrior Forum when people are allowed to ask questions and the OP will answer, which I really appreciate.
I was sent quite a few offers from several Warriors pushing this product however, being that it was promoted on JV Zoo, and there where no questions/answers allowed I didn't like that at all.

All I needed to know if this software was Mac compatible. I did a search but could not find an answer so I said, " forget it." Lately, I seem to get a lot of offers from JVzoo from fellow warriors but I don't like buying something I cannot ask questions about before purchasing. I will stick to the WSO's on the warriour forum.

Its not Mac compatible, I am on a Mac as well. But I'm sure I can run it with Wine, Virtual Box or Parallels.

Yeah I have some questions as well. Dont understand why there is no WSO or something similar.

I definitely like the concept but am a little skeptical until I see a few more reviews. Hopefully, someone can give an honest review and not just a salespage testimonial.

WhiteTS, I completely agree with you, lyfe, and others about not being able to read reviews.

This is what I sometimes do, and it may be helpful to others: do a search on the product, using double-quotes, and look at any of the results from blackhat (!) sites. You'd be surprised at what you'll read, and some of the comments are helpful in making a decision about buying or not.

I am not suggesting doing anything other than reading

I have watched the video on the sales page, but as a user of Lead Kahuna I'm not sure that I see any advantages over it. Anyone have any input on it compared to Lead Kahuna?

kbrady, I have Lead Kahuna (LK) and am debating about Lead Finder Jack (LFJ) as well. I'm basing my following comments on not only the video on the sales page, but also on some of the tutorials found on YouTube, and I'm using the most current version of LK.

My immediate thought is that LFJ has a one-time fee, versus LK's annual renewal. And depending when, and through whom, you purchased LK, this can be a significant savings.

Another advantage: LFJ seems to go deeper in its search for email addresses, as it seems to provide more email addresses per company, vs. LK's one email address (if found).

LFJ picks up LinkedIn profiles, whereas LK doesn't.

LFJ can specifically search for companies that have Paid Ads, where LK uses only Google for general searches.

My impression is that LFJ is more comprehensive in how it searches for whether a company has a mobile site, based on comments made by the developer. I have yet to find a scraper that is excellent in its accuracy.

A disadvantage: LFJ does not show companies that have run Groupon and LivingSocial deals, so that's a minus in my book as deal site marketing is my main service.

LK also offers the ability to create letters in addition to the email campaigns that both it and LFJ offer.

LK also offers the ability to do audio broadcast campaigns, which LFJ doesn't.

We know that LK has been evolving with more, and significant, updates and options since its inception last fall, and has good support. We don't know how often LFJ will be updated, nor what new options it will have.

Sorry for such a "long-winded" response! I know there are other pros/cons, and I hope that others will comment as well . . .

Pretty good stuff. I just bought Crazy Lead Machine for almost three times the cost. Then I hear (and read) about this. If nobody knows what that is, CLM is also lead finding software. So if anybody hears some more stuff about Lead Finder, I would love to hear about it, because I also think it looks interesting...(good sales page)

I have LK as well, and Localizer Lead Tool, and am satisfied with both, and didn't think of getting LFJ. What makes me rethink this, is that we can put a URL in LFJ and get info on that company. It helps when you are in contact with a prospect and want quiick info on them alone (as opposed to doing a whole city data search...)

      Jay -

If you want to find out about companies (and are in the US) many public libraries have free access to ReferenceUSA. It's a fast, easy way to find out info about a company or research certain market segments. I use it all the time -- You'll need a library card though.

Very limited in the emails it picks up. Got all of 10 businesses for Architects London. And similar for other searches in London. Nice to get an assortment of emails from one company as sending an email to a person is better than a generic address, but you're lucky to get 3 names out of 10-20 searches.

    Disappointed in this.

Underground, this does seem rather limited . . .

Question: I was under the assumption that this has a one-time fee, but read elsewhere that there is a subscription for it. Is it a one-time only fee? TIA ~

Don't know that it was a subscription...thought it was a one time fee

Underground - You only got 10 businesses, I only got 3 business - in the entire state of New Jersey. In my opinion, this doesn't work well for the US market. Would have been better if the search options included state for the US. How about I got results from states on the other side of the country. initially you are searching for businesses that are local to you so you can close the deal in person.

I agree with you that it was a disappointment. Disappointment is when the affiliate that referred you to the product makes his own training video because his referral customers complain about the poor quality of the training videos provided with the product.

isn't that often the case, many demo videos are carefully chosen to show what we think is the average return results, but in reality is some of the better return results , eg the video I watched from a affiliate of LFJ showed many search results with many having 5+ email addresses for each business, when maybe in reality that isn't really the case.

Indeed most lead gen software I seen has this issue, the demos look strong for results genrated, reality is another thing entirely

I purchased LFJ and am disappointed in the results. I do a search for plumbers, Houston, TX which has a population of over 2 million. Instead of getting targeted leads that I can market my services and send personal email messages to I get Home Depot, Lowes, Independent School Districts etc. One lead was to a plumbers association with a bunch of email addresses to everyone in the association. I get sites like ESPN and baseball references because there's a guy on the team named "Plumber". These leads are not interested in my video services. I'm looking for independents like Joe's Plumbing, Acme Plumbing etc.

So I continue my search for a good lead finder that will target my niches. Let me know when you find one.

I can see why you're disappointed with your results. However, getting members' email addresses in the plumbers association might be a goldmine. And if only email addresses are listed, then do searches on them to find out more detail.

Does anyone have feedback on the OTO offering of 4 additional training webinars?

Has anyone bought Lead Finder Jack? There aren't very many comments describing the software since it's launch.

I'd love to hear some reviews from those who have tried it.
