RSS Bot vs RSS Submit

Looking at the RSS Submit sales page it appears that RSS Submit submits to more sites. RSSBot will eventually catch up, but it's not there yet.

You get one year of upgrades with RSS Submit. You get lifetime upgrades with RSSBot.

RSSBot supports multiple submission profiles. I don't know if RSS Submit does or not, but based on the number of feeds each version manages, I suspect that if it does support multiple submission profiles, that only the SEO edition would have that capability.

RSS Submit has three versions. Only the SEO edition manages an unlimited number of feeds. The price is $114.95.

RSSBot has one version, and that version manages an unlimited number of feeds. The price is $24.95.

The most basic example would be to separate the ping services from the RSS feed aggregators. You only want to submit each feed to the aggregators one time, but you might want to ping on a schedule, such as once a day or once a week.

Another example would be if you wanted to run a commercial service for submitting clients' feeds. You would want to establish a separate profile for each client with their particular login information for the aggregators that require you to log in.

The only RSS Submit license that allows you to run a commercial service is the $114.95 SEO edition.

Generally, most RSS enabled sites, such as a Wordpress blog, have one feed for the entire site. However an article directory may have one feed for every article category. If you were running an article site with 50 categories, you would likely want to submit the feed for each of those categories to the RSS aggregators. To accomplish that with RSS Submit, you would need the $114.95 SEO edition.

Yes. As Diego advances the common basic code for all of the Incansoft bots, he will go back and upgrade the entire family of programs. I suspect the next RSSBot upgrade will have the ability to add sites since he has incorporated that ability into the newer bots.

P.S. - Diego is designing the bots in a way that they will eventually all work in concert, share common information, and eliminate redundancy between the programs.

You might want to consider the Incansoft Wholesale Membership which gives you personal use of the entire Incansoft catalog as well as a reseller license for 100% commissions on all the products. The membership fee is less than $20 a month, so you could pretty much sell one license to one product a month to cover your personal use. Sell more than that and you're making a profit.

Just wondering about the automated part of this tool.

How does it handle captua? I have a lot of sites and don't want to enter manually.

And how automated really, is RSSBot since neither the site or reviews show this aspect, as I have 100+ sites.

It can be run from an external drive which would be the easiest way to accomplish that without constantly having to transfer saved data from one machine to another.
