I think the local workshop is worth going to, just to get a feel for the pitch and the people in the audience, but the service itself, from my experience is a total scam. Look up "Galaxy Mall" and you'll see lots of into on them. Like Amway, they had such a reputation, they had to change the name. I played stupid and tried to connect with a couple of the "success stories." After doing a little research when I got back to the office, it was pretty easy to see major holes. These guys are making money by selling expensive ecommerce systems and web sites. Sites to look at: Team 4 Investigates Storesonline - Pittsburgh News Story - WTAE Pittsburgh Storesonline Reviews - Read This Before You Purchase Any Storesonline Products |

No way! Wow, I went to a local Galaxy Mall workshop (like around Dayton, Ohio)! You know that's the first thing that came to mind with the mailing, too. It just sounded soooooooo similar! Now in Galaxy Mall, I never bought. Here's the scoop: A bunch of us attendees sat around at lunch discussing the little we knew then about the web and shopping mall sites online, web hosting, etc. And we decided to piecemeal it when we got home. No one bought, at least from that bunch of us. And a huge chunk of the presentation was done by a man dressed up in a suit totally sloshed. No kidding, he was drunk as a skunk while presenting. Totally weird! So anyway, thanks for the heads up. Always wondered what happened to their super mall idea on the web. Now I know

Don't even think about it. Waste of money. You can do the same thing much cheaper. I got hosed to the tune or around $6000 and then they wanted more for "coaching", around $3500 more. And if you don't cancel within three days you can't get out of it.

Ouch! Wow, 3 days! That's something. Wish I could warn people so they don't show up. That's sad.

| Quote: Thanks! Wow, I didn't have time to research this yet on my own, so headed here first, as I have a preference for Warrior reviews & feedback Wow, totally unbelievable amount of stuff out there on this company under various names. There must be laws of some kind against this, if the companies have so much bad history? But that's for a legal forum, I guess. Thanks, Warriors, for all the info! Much appreciated. Very much! | |
