WordFlood, PowerArticleRewriter etc. are not magic tools where you click a button and get a totally readable article. The speed at which you rewrite an article depends on the speed at which you can select synonyms to replace the words. Watch the video at WordFlood 2.0 |

Just my two cents, but from my experience, article spinners just aren't worth the price and create some really awkward articles. And the search engines (particularly Google) are getting smarter at identifying and not ranking articles done this way. Simple sentence rearranging and synonym replacement just aren't enough anymore. I've developed a successful system that's pretty much free and produces 5 or 6 articles in roughly an hour. It only involves a small cost for buying PLR articles. Google any niche you want for PLR articles. Some are free and most cost just pennies. I believe there are some Warriors who offer this service - your choice. After finding your articles, download a free software program called Dupefree Pro (free as of this writing). You can find it at Dupe Free Pro (dot com) The software essentially compares two articles (or any text for that matter) and calculates the duplicate %. It also counts keyword density (very important for your articles), and has some advanced features like Latent Semantic Indexing capabilities. The learning curve is extremely easy - it should take about 15 minutes to get comfortable using the software, but here's how I do it: I import the article into both the Article 1 and Article 2 text boxes and click on compare. Obviously, 100% of the content will be duplicate. Then I rewrite the title of the article (takes about 15 seconds), look at each paragraph and change something in each sentence and focus on giving it some humor and a little of my personality. After each change I click the compare button and see the duplicate percentage and check the keyword density. After about 5 or 10 minutes (depending on the length of the article and complexity of the niche) you'll have a brand new article with good keyword density. You can "spin" quite a few articles this way with very little effort and price. And the articles actually make sense and give real value to the reader. Hope it helps. |

Why do you like having to input variables? That was the most time-consuming part for me with JetSpinner. Didn't too much like it. Think I'll try PowerArticle Rewriter

Regarding an earlier post on this thread.... I have added a new video which shows a new spinning module that i've added to Article Writer Pro. This does require a bit of effort but once you've developed a project your laughing. If anyone is interested, the video is here... Only a few free accounts left.. Spinning Module Video I'm also developing the site so that you can opt to share your content with other members to create a public content pool. You will then have access to everyone elses data. All of which will be spun ensuring that your finished articles are highly unique. Thanks Andy |

In reply to Jon Alexander's post with spinning examples. Even though the percentage change is ok, there are still too many phrases from the original that stand out rather glaringly and I think that it would be risky to submit such articles. I guess the point of me writing this is to say that if there are some colloquial type phrases (like shooting yourself in the foot) in an article they should be removed, as synonyms could make the phrase sound ridiculous. Just my sixpence worth. balara |

| IMHO this is an un-solvable problem. I have tried a few types of spinning software, and what it boils down to is that there is always a tradeoff between a) how much time you need to spend setting it all up, and b) the uniqueness AND readability of the result To improve b) you need to spend LOTS of time on a) - which means you might as well re-write the articles yourself, from scratch! |

Somehow all this thread is reminding me of the endless discussions we had about machine translations vs. human translations (in other places). I have been in the translation business for decades, and I have tried almost all the existing translation software - and they all are a kind of dead end: nothing can replace the human "intervention"... (before you ask: yes, I am a polyglot linguist who can judge the effectiveness of translation software ![]() Now, back to the topic: I don't think there is a perfect tool for you to save all the work and automate the article rewriting. However, I do think there might be good tools for helping you to make a decent rewrite of an existing article and to check how well you did your job. I might be biased when referring to Content Mania* because they hired a linguist to help them (no aff link!)... but I think even if this is not an article rewrite automation - you could still benefit from running your rewrites through a smart software. Very true István. NO software will ever do the whole thing 100% correctly. At least not at an affordable price for us. It would involve serious Artificial Intelligence and most likely would be a well protected secret of the company that builds it. Need to have an ROI, so they would charge a fortune. The problem with this thread has been that many of us want software to do different things. I see that there are 2 different writing camps. Some want a tool to create output articles that are already spun, while others want to create an output with spinnable syntax in the article for submission to a service. Within both of these camps, I see a spectrum of effort to produce their output. On one end of the spectrum, some want a tool that does the spinning and don't care that much about the "readability" and context matching. In the middle of the spectrum, some want something that helps them do the rewrite task in the most efficient way possible to crank out results where the quality may be good but not perfect. And on the other end of the spectrum some want total control of the rewrite and very high quality output. I think this thread has been helpful, while a bit too long now for first time readers, to present the options that are available between full automation versus full control. Many of the reviews have been very well formulated and presented but would now take some effort to find them amongst the other posts. Personally, for the tool I'm building, it's the middle of the road that is the target. Many people (including myself) need help with their ability to produce spinnable content that is good to great. Producing that spin may involve synonyms, full sentence revisions, common phrase substitution, etc. Presenting the user with suggestions to help create uniqueness in an effective user interface is my goal. In the case of choosing synonyms, the only effective algorithm is the one in your head! It's going a bit slower than I had hoped but maybe a beta in January. Just passing time here at work until it's time to go home. Too late in the day to start something before the weekend. |

This thread has been pretty informative. I've been using Content Composer for a while. It lets you create a synonym list. You can create a lot of spun content with little similarities but that takes more time setting up. I wish they had an interface like Power Article Rewriter which makes it easy to get synonyms. It has a lot of powerful features but it is a pricey program. The bottom line is that if you want more unique content the you'll have to spend more time creating it or paying more for it. The thing is that no one here really knows how well the google algorithm works detecting similar content. You probably have to worry more about duplicate content if you are just submitting to article directories and its because of the article directories and not google. I'm getting great results submitting to my blog network and the content is about 30% unique. I use a large list of Titles with the relevant keywords and the system submits them to the blog network on autopilot. So if I spend a lot of time creating really unique content then I'm creating backlinks to my sites at a lot slower rate. In other words the longer I take the longer it will be before I see results. IMHO based on MY results google doesn't care about duplicate content as much as people think. |

Part of me wonders what the long term is for content creation tools. Will Google ever find a way fo spotting patterns? do they even care? I know one guy who create a huge site purely though scraped-re-jigged content and he generates adsense revenue from it. Should we use these tools for just creating articles for link backs or is it appropriate to use them to create masses of site content? |

I have been using WriteAgain!, for my Wordpress blog for a while now and the results have been very good, all my pages have been indexed and I'm getting around 100-200 visitors per day. I use WordFlood and find it to be easy to use, and a quick way to generate ONE unique article from a base article. It is also very inexpensive. For mass article rewriting I have spent thousands of dollars the past few years and only found one product that does a great job generating unique, readable articles. However, (you're not going to like this), its no longer being sold. It was called Webspinner and was available at webspinnersoftware.com. The site is now kaput. You may want to do your own research to track down the guys who had developed this. Essentially, the software had too high of monthly fees to keep a sufficient subscriber base for continued development. I still use the software myself. If you can finagle a copy it will be worth your effort. |

Just wondering if anyone has come across UCC Pro - Ultimate Content Creator v 2.0. Would be interested if someone has a review of it or knows someone that has used it in the past or still currently using it.

For years I was against any product that spun articles because honestly the quality was poor at best. However, I reversed my decision when I came across Power Article Rewriter. The program does require effort on the end users part in order to crank out quality articles that are different and yet still maintain their integrity (meaning they make sense). Some of the other programs mentioned in this thread I have not used but I can recommend Power Article Rewriter. Respectfully, Tim PS - Merry Christmas!! |

My experience with Content Boss. This is not a review. To call it a review would be a disservice to both the reader and the product itself. I purchased both programs offered by Content Boss, content wrangler and auto boss, last week and am in my second week of giving it a run through. Obviously my experience is limited. I am not an affiliate for the program and do not have plans on promoting it. I purchased it for the sole benefit of promoting my money sites with a series of hopefully automatically updated blogs. For those not familiar with the program the first part, content wrangler is what most of the foregone thread has been about. The ability to wrangle, or spin articles. It also has as mentioned previously the ability to create articles by inserting a keyword and clicking a link which will search for and assemble an article. This last feature I have not yet had time to test. Allow me to began by stating that the support so far has been very responsive. I have submitted two tickets and both were replied to within hours even early on 12-24-08, Christmas eve, when one might expect support personnel to have other issues on their minds. My only complaint with support is that in reply to my problem they did a quick search found a problem and did not go any farther. The problem they found would certainly have kept that particular blog from receiving posts but after correcting this issue the system is still not working as it should. (To be fair, it is too soon to tell if it is something I am doing wrong that is causing the problem). The problem I have is this. The auto Blog portion of the program allows you to add various Blogger blogs to the program. Once added if everything is correct the program will on a specified delay locate and add posts to these blogs automatically. I have set up 10 blogs. 7 Blogger blogs at Blogspot and 3 WordPress blogs on my own hosting. The Self hosted Wordpress blogs are working as expected without issue. The first two Blogger blogs did receive one post each and then stopped working. The program shows the number of posts each blog has been sent and even shows the subject of the last post. None of these are received on the Blogger blogs. At this point each blog should have received at least 4 posts. I have set the delay to daily for the purpose of testing. I have checked everything over carefully and if the issue is not resolved after the scheduled post time on Friday I will submit a third ticket. As to the content wrangler. I am including an original short PLR article and three untouched wrangles from that article for your inspection. To do the wrangles I set paraphrase at 50% for the first wrangle and 100% for the second two. In the third I included a keyword in the relevance box. I used the default relevance and obfuscate for all three wrangles. Here are the articles: (Original article) Autoresponders and Spam – What You Need To Know There are laws against sending spam. It is too soon for me to evaluate the use of these programs in my marketing. I really hope that the auto blog program works as designed. I have read several good reviews of the program. If the content wrangler passes my testing I will certainly use it for articles for my linking blogs. If it does not perform satisfactorily I can still use WordFlood or Product Article Rewriter to rewrite PLR articles and post them to these blogs in other ways. Additionally I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and may all Warriors enjoy a fruitful 2009. Chet Hastings |

Most people use Dupe Free Pro to check their articles for duplicate content. Its an amazing tool that you can download for free here: DupeFree Pro - Avoid Duplicate Content and Online Content Plagiarism Some also use Copyscape to check for duplicate content too. It would be interesting to hear back how well that program did after you check it. Steve

Content Composer and Power Article Rewriter get my votes for the best article rewriting software. Like many of you I too want a tool that does everything, so I have purchased a number of different article rewriter, article spinner software offerings. Once I accepted that the point and click, do everything article rewriter does not exist, and accepted that even after the rewriter has spun and rewritten the article, additional editorial rewrites by me were still going to be necessary. I became happy with what I have and learned how to use it better. But I haven't quit looking for my dream tool. You know the one, all I have to do is input a key word and it will spider the entire internet and gather all of the information available on that keyword and with its artificial intelligence interface it will compile as many articles as I wish, applying sentence and paragraph altering and randomizing, synonyms and grammar fixes, than it check the created articles with copyscape, adds SEO and submits them to article directories. |

In an effort at fairness I thought I should reply to my own post above regarding Comment Boss: (Quote from the above post) Allow me to began by stating that the support so far has been very responsive. (End of quote) Turns out that the problem was with the Host company. To simplify matters I had decided to get a hosting account at the company that ContentBoss recommends as their preferred and only supported hosting company. What was discovered finally after a number of support tickets to both ContentBoss and the host, (all answered very quickly I need to add), was that the host had placed me on a server which did have php5 installed but the php5 did not cover all files on my account. A few corrections in cPanel and the system now works as advertised. The reason the first couple of posts to the first two blogs worked was because I had originally installed the software on my dedicated server which has php5 fully integrated. I don't know if I am the only member of the program to experience this problem but the number of tickets needed to finally fix the issue would suggest that it was a new issue for both companies. Now that the program is working I can continue to evaluate whether it will work for my business plan. I just did not want my above post to leave the issue hanging. Anyone interested in the program will have to make their own decisions regarding the usefulness of the program but I did not want the support issue to leave the assumption that the company was not responsive. There is no place for software spuns in article marketing anymore, at least not if you try to spam the quality article directories with it. That's old school and brings you nowhere nowadays. You can use spun versions of your article on places where it doesn't hurt like Web 2.0 properties or your blog farms and other feeder sites. That still brings links and some traffic and you don't piss other people off. Gunter

I gave-in to my curiosity and signed-up for ContentBoss last week. I can't get anything worth using out of it...Their sales page is excellent, though, lol! Tracy |

Can you really re-write an article with software, I think not.

Actually you can. But you can't do it 100% automatically. Until someone figures out the artificial intelligence, you are really stuck doing it yourself. For me the perfect tool is one that helps me do the job of rewriting an article for spinning and submitting. Not one that does the re-write for me. When I tried ContentBoss, nothing but garbage for output. I would have been embarrassed to put my name or even a pen name to the output. It didn't even read at a 3rd grade level. If you are spinning articles for submission then you need to start with quality and add more quality synonyms, additional sentence revisions and time. Your effort is much better spent creating a text that will inspire the reader to read to the bottom than it is to auto-generate garbage where the reader can't make it out of the first paragraph. Time + Effort = Results Everyone of the cliches that you've ever heard about working hard is true and article marketing is no different. Stepping off soap-box now. |

I don't think you can get any 'one click' software that will rewrite an article. There are so many words and part phrases that can suite one element of a sentence, but not another. At the end of the day, you will always need to put the effort into building or evolving your article... or account. Only then will you be able to quickly create human readable articles. I do not believe in straight forward respins either. Google is getting very good at picking out patterns in an article. A 500 word variation of another article just won't cut it in the long run... if it is valid back links you are after. The key is to change the theme or flow of the article all the way through each and every time you create an article. :-) If people aren't prepared to put the time and effort into developing their article project, then maybe they are in the wrong business. WordFlood is a great tool that helps you to rewrite articles. It is the fastest method I have come across yet but it still needs you to do the work. This is good as it still requires human input which is great for google rankings.

Did you know that there are credible sources that say that the duplicate content issue is a farce? 1 Hour Of Work Made Me $628.94 So Far.... They say the only time duplicate content is an issue is when you link two sites together that have the same content. Steve |

Steve, While the duplicate content penalty may not be what everyone thought, there are other reasons to not submit the same article to multiple sites. My biggest 2 are these : 1. Many article sites won't approve duplicate content because there isn't any benefit to them. The more article sites that accept your article, then the more backlinks your site will receive and the more exposure to possible views. 2. We do know that Google will display unique spun versions of articles from multiple article sites (when done properly). So what you get is a page full of your articles with your links in them. If the submitted articles aren't spun, Google will only show 1 of those duplicate articles. I would much rather have many entries vs. a single entry on a SERP. Tony |

It is also now important to change the pattern of your article each and every time you re-create it. A little further down the line Google will be very good at spotting straight forward re-spins of one article.

I currently use Power Article Writer as well and i like the performance of it. I would say my average % of uniqueness is normally at or above 65%. I have also tried article factory the software version and it is pretty good. I agree that you cannot get a totally unique article without investing some time manipulating, optimizing, checking and submitting to article sites. In the long run it does pay off, otherwise your articles will most likely eventually be detected and dropped. On thing that i always keep in the back of my mind is that content duplication is always going to get more advanced. Maybe not in a week, a month, or a year, but I want my articles to be around as long as possible. Definately something to ponder. |

Offers more then those others, is way more than a spinner, it the only secured article directory around (256 bit encryption), puts submityourarticles and articlemarketer to shame.. Even puts your blog on auto-pilot with content... I could go on and on .. Just wonder why it never made your list.. James
