Default Any experience with Brunson and Filsaime's high end private coaching?

Hi,

I'm brand new to the forum. My total profit to date in just over a year is about $58 bucks, which is still in Clickbank's hands. I just got a call from "Mike Filsaime's office" pitching private coaching. The cost is $5000 for a year. I am honestly considering it because supposedly I will be able to call as often as I need for phone support in any area. The catch is that the only guarantee is that they will continue to work with you if you haven't made your investment back after the i year coaching period is up.

I am just trying to see if anyone has any experience with this program and, if so, did it help you make money?

I've already spend several thousand on different programs and they all seem to be missing some crucial details. Any help would be appreciated.

I agree - there's no way that $5000 will get you phone access to anyone experienced enough.

I've tried getting them on the phone before... they're happy to give you their numbers... they just don't answer or return your calls!

(I don't have experience with Russell though)

I'm not in either program but used to join the weekly calls for Brunsons Dot Com Secrets and his affiliate manager Brent Coppieters seems like a great dude. He was very helpful and Russell actually answered lots of my questions right on the teleseminar.

Cost to me? $0

If you have only made $58 in a year I really don't think all the coaching in the world is going to help you. If you want to make it you have to be an action taker. If you took action on nothing but the basics of internet marketing you would have far exceeded your $58 of income. Please don't spend your money until you are ready to take action. Coaching is not the magic button either.

There is NO way on earth that Mike F or Russel B, is going to be at your beck and call for what amounts to $90 a week..

Even if you do manage to get through you can get bet your ass you ain't getting to speak to either of them.

Both rake in tens of thousands of dollars a day, the maths doesn't stack up, hell I wouldn't offer an all you can eat information buffet for $90 a week , much less Mike or Russell B.

Sig Smig - I'm selling nowt.

For that price you only get one of their assigned coaches. Someone asked for Mike's personal rate and it was $50,000.

I'm with Amanda, though - no more from me, from either of these guys.

You could actually do a lot better with just buying basic IM products on the various subjects you would encounter in any internet-related business. Marketing, copwriting, SEO, etc.

It's doubtful that any coaching would give you as comprehensive an education as your own research with some of the subject matter experts selling e-books out there.

I can't comment on Mike's program but i am enrolled in Russell Brunson's Protege program ($5000 for a year). Its quite comprehensive and the coach i have definately knows his stuff and is a successful marketer in his own right. Besides that you get access to an insane amount of marketing material and the reactive coaching, which means you can call and harrass your coach at all times.. lol. Anyhow, the program is what you make of it. If you put the effort in to learn and to keep in touch with your course, you will succees... simple as that. That and they guarantee that at the very least you will make your money back or they will keep coaching you till they do.

Hi,

I got a call tonight from Russell Brunson's office and I was wondering - are you still happy with the program? are you making enough money to justify the time, effort, and investment?

Thanks!

Just a question. When did you start? And what did you achieve to date?

Thanks,

I personally have no problems with Mike Filsaime although I know that all his helpdesk support are outsourced personnel which might not be working closely with him. Either way, just request for his private personal email address so that you can contact him personally. That will just do the trick.

Unless you're already making enough money to pay for the coaching, I can think of about 100 better ways to invest that $5,000. If you're just looking for some help to get to (potentially) the next level and can afford to lose the money, go for it.

Otherwise, join John Taylor's coaching program that he runs a WSO for. I think he charges $497. I'm pretty sure he'll tell you right quick what your problem is. Even if it's found in the mirror. And you'll still have $4,503 left to build your business with.

There are other Warriors who have similar programs. I'm just using John as an example.

Hi Lance,

Thank you so much for the link to John Taylor's page. His coaching program sounds like the type of coaching I've been looking for, and the testimonials are astonishing!

I will search for other warriors programs as well, just so I have a more complete frame of reference when I make my decision.

Dee.

It is called dotcomsecrets protege program. The coaches are guys who have no affiliate marketing experience or atleast the one I had did not. It costs 5,000.00 for 10 coaching calls. 1 call per week for the 1st 10 weeks. I just finished their program and this is what i got (buildasolar-panel.weebly.com) You could sell this site for a one dollar bill. I had lots of trouble. If you need specifics let me know and I would be glad to tell you.

I highly reccomend Russells coaching. Not only have I used many of the components that he and his staff have shown me. I actually got to have lunch with Russ and Brent since I am in the area and can tell you that they really do care about how successful you become. Russ isn't going to personally coach you very often but I have met the folks that do the coaching and they are wonderful. Their expertise will get you where you need to be to start making what ever amount of money you would like to be making. I highly, highly recomend his course and coaching.

Hey guys,

I didn't actually end up signing up for the coaching. I was seriously thinking about it and was on the phone with someone from russells office for a few hours. I probably would have signed up had they not been so pushy. The sales guy was really pushy and I found this discouraging. Also I found that there was a lack of information on the services that I would get and the information I would learn. I think it would be nice if they posted a site with concrete info on what would or could be learned in the program. When I asked the guy why they didn't have this page or if they could provide more info he sort of danced around the question saying look we aren't trying to hard sell you either it makes sense or it doesnt...so I thought that was weird, like he was playing power games and trying to increase desire and exclusivity to the program. I told him that I really liked russell and that was one of the reason why I was interested in the program but that financially I couldn't commit to the 5000 until next month. He said that I should take out a loan or something along those lines and that he wasn't sure if there was space available next month. All of this sort of made me lose respect for the program and for russell which is really unfortunate because previously he was my favorite internet marketer. That being said, this was just one guy who was trying to sell the coaching program to me...maybe other people have had better experiences. MTKENT mentioned he had a great experience with the actual program so thats interesting to know. This was just my experience with the sales rep and it was a poor one.

Wow! I'm so glad I joined the Warrior Forum and my first search was on Coaching because I was just about to pull the trigger on a $5K to $10K program through the company that does the coaching for Mike Filsaime, Russel Brunson, Steven Pierce and others.

I have really liked the "screener" guy I have been talking to (Eric S.). He's been wonderful and wonderfully encouraging. But since I started speaking with him last week I have done a lot more of my own learning and thinking and am seriously wondering if this is the right move. I have a real estate business and I had a coach for that and it was very successful - of course... it is possible that success depends not only on what you put into the program but also what your expectations are of the program itself.

Hmmm... I'm still on the fence here but I guess that I do need to consider what the best use of my money would be since it will basically be all the money I have! LOL!

OOH... anyone out here also a paid member over at Wealthy Affiliate2.0???? It seems like for $39/mo there is all the training and coaching one could need in one place.

Hey mtkent - glad to hear you love the program. I guess there is good and bad with anything out there. I was just curious but could give me the url to your product. I would really love see what a good finished product from dotcomsecrets looks like. Can i sign up on your squeeze so that I could be taken through your sales funnel. They never had a chance to coach me on the high end part of the sale funnel.

Mtkent - I would also be interested in checking out the product that was created based on this coaching. Are you making the kind of money that you thought you'd be making after taking this coaching?

Also - I have a question for Janet - since they basically guarantee that you will make at least as much as the amount you have invested, don't they still have to work with you until you do?

Thanks for the comments everyone. It's been really helpful.

Dee.

I got a call from a guy thats on Mikes coaching team on friday. I didn´t even remember signin up for any coaching but I guess I must have somwhere because he had my phone number.

The guy who called me was very nice and he basicly told me that I was one of the lucky few considered for the program.

On monday he called back and we talked for about an hour. He asked me about my financial stadus and also talked to my girlfriend a litle. Then he started the selling part. He sayd I had to invest about $5000 for 12 months of coaching. I told him I just din´t have that kind of money right now so he started asking me if I could take out a loan from the bank or from my family and things like that. I thought that was kinda weird because I had already told him that I could come up with the money 1 of nov.

Now someone else from the company is going to call me today and see if I fit the program and then I haveto pay today if I´m in.

I let you know how it goes. I´m still unsure if I´m going to take this coaching.

One has to decide for himself about whether to do these $5,000 dollar coaching packages.

I would insist on seeing some real tangible results and get a cast iron guarantee in writing about payback if it doesn't pan out well.

Also bear in mind that the heavy sales tactics are carried out by people on sales commission. How much I'm not so sure, but it will be worth their while if they sell you on it

It's seems like I am not the only one getting this calls. I also received a call claiming to be Mike Filsaime office and wanted to coach me for $5000. He ask me if I am making money over the internet and I said yes. Now, my question is if Mike Filsaime and Russell Brunson making millions on the internet, why on earth are they charging $5k from someone who is not making money? Hello, I am not making money, Do you think I have $5K? I was in sales myself for many years and I told him that I would make him a deal. I said to him, how about this: Why don't you coach me right now for no charge and when I make my first $5K, I will give it to you. Better yet, I 'll give you $6K. How about that? And then he goes on telling that this is not how it works and could not make me this deal. Any comment on this?

Well I got the call yesterday and spoke again with the salesperson from Mikes team.

I was able to bargain with him a little and we decided on me paying $1000 and they would lend me $5000. Wich I would pay when I get my earnings from the program. So that was good.

I´m supose to pay on 2. nov. and start the coaching then. I´m still deciding what to do.

Just My two Cents...

I have learned everything i know from the forum and buying WSO. You can find everything here and if you dont find the answer ASK!!!!! take action and learn from your mistake. $5000 can be for WSO, TOOLS, DOMAIN, OUTSOURCE, and SITE DEVELOPEMENT.

Good Luck

Default Re: Any experience with Brunson and Filsaime's high end private coaching?

I too have received calls from Russell Brunson's office and Brad Callen's too recently, interesting that I am in Australia and they appear to be more aggressively going after overseas customers.

I can't comment on Russell's coaching but I can comment on I5Gold with Mike Filsaime given that was a previous incarnation of his coaching services, his first foray into mass coaching as far as I know.

As far I am concerned it was an almost complete waste of money and was totally wrong for me although I'm sure many people loved it.

Firstly there was supposed to be a large component of "1 on 1" coaching, one of the heavily promoted benefits of the program. The 1 on 1 turned out to be about 20 minutes once a month with 1 of 4 gurus of which Mike was one. To get this 20 minutes you had to wait your turn on 1 of 4 conference calls at different times and there was no way to guarantee that you always got the same person. From a continuity and getting to be known perspective this was a terrible way to do things. Being on a conference call was good from the point of learning from others coaching but it also meant no privacy.

There was also weekly teleseminars with industry experts. These were nearly all good quality calls but the problem was that just about every week it was a different subject being talked about. This meant if you were a newbie like I was that you got to learn a little bit about everything but not a lot about anything in particular. It was also very distracting and for me and certainly did not help me to focus in on one discipline. These recorded calls are now often offered by Mike as one of his bonuses to other programs or products.

You were also supposed to have access to the 4 gurus through a forum. Personally I found other members very helpful but the gurus were rather harder to get much out of. For example one of these 4 gurus, Paulie promised me on 3 separate occasions that he would provide me with details of people I could interview. This was a request that would not have taken much effort to fulfill but I never did get this list from him.

Lastly I5Gold had a guarantee that Mike would promote your product or he would deposit $5000 into your PayPal account. Strangely if anybody raised a topic in the forum about the guarantee and how to ensure Mike fulfilled his promise then other members would rally against you saying that you should promote your product yourself and not rely on Mike. Whilst I agree you should be doing some self promoting I strongly believe that people should be held to deliver what they said they would, if you have paid for a helping hand then what is wrong with asking for it?

With hindsight I think this guarantee was there to look reassuring with no real expectation of having to honor it.

Tired of getting in your own way?
