I'm interested in which method warriors prefer for getting more traffic to their site/s, they both require much the same effort and are both promoted as the best way to use articles.

If you were trying to increase the traffic to your site which is the best of the 2 options ...
Sending articles to the blog network of "My Article Network" or the many article directories with "Automatic Article Submission" software.

If you could only afford 1 which would be your first choice
