Did someone bought this package yet?

If so, is this worth it?

Did you download his "The Death of SEO" mini-report? I did and I found some things I consider incorrect based on my own experiences:

"The problem with traditional blogs is that they have to be maintained and updated on a regular basis." - They don't unless your game plan is to take advantage of 'Query Deserves Freshness' over and over again instead of using a long term link building campaign.

"This is called the bounce rate and Google knows your sites bounce rate." - They only know it if you're using Google Analytics and even then they know that this information can be skewed by various traffic patterns (such as heavy StumbleUpon or Digg traffic), competitor activities, tracking script blocking and such.

"One link from a link farm, or buying links from other webmasters through a link service can spell doom." - Wrong again. If this was true it would be easy for competitors to sabotage your sites. While being a link farm or selling links can get you in trouble, the opposite isn't a problem.

Due to this incorrect information in the giveaway report it makes me doubt the validity and usefulness of the actual product. I haven't seen the actual product so it may be good and the giveaway flawed but color me skeptical.

Wow, I figured this would be a hot topic. Nobody's bought this yet? 75,000 page views for only 10 minutes worth of work is a pretty outrageous claim. When I see hyped up crap like this I am automatically very skeptical.

I am very curious to see some honest reviews.

      Hello guys,

My honest review of Marketing on the Fringe!

I have been through all of the training in Marketing on the Fringe.

Awesome content, easy to understand, very powerfull stuff and without question worth every penny!

The course is mainly a video training course, the information he gives and the resources he offers will help almost ANY level of Internet Marketer and give them some great tips and ideas on how to step things up significantly.

He is obviously very successfull and opens the doors to his very successfull tactics, strategies and methods!

In my opinion he give us the keys to endless traffic, to where ever we want to send it!

So, there you go, get your wallet out as its definately the best $97.00 i have spent this year!

      Cheers

        Paul,

Would appreciate your reply to the following:

        1. What is the gold upgrade about?

        2. Does the course requires us to purchase additional tools to implement the concept?

        Thank you,

        TH

Content seems solid..interesting for sure. But a word of warning..the author uses lots of expensive 3rd party tools that will seriously add to your costs. Yes you can do without them technically, but that defeats the whole principle behind the system which is using as much automation as possible.

What are the extra tools required? I ask as I may already own them.

I never get anything useful out of things like this, I do just fine with the information I get from forums, blogs, articles, etc. There really aren't that many secrets out there about marketing, these products are just an excuse to read rather than put in the work

For those who asked..some of the tools I remember are the following. SEnuke, Hummingbird, Traffic Geyser and a few others. I don't want to mention all the tools simply out of respect for the products author. Since it may paint to much of a picture on his methodology.

Well I most say that is truly a lot of extras. SEnuke on its own cost a fortune, never mind all of the other extras that you need to make it work.

Basically the $97.00 look like it's just the start. I suppose we would need an extra $1000.00 to be fully functional with that package.

In my opinion this is a very good course that gives the big picture of how to run an internet business either for yourself or Clients.

The cost of the tools recommended would be in the $600-$800 per month range.

I picked up my first offline Client 2 months ago and have been earning roughly $1,000 per month from the Client. I charge a flat fee + a success fee. The Client is happy and I have gained enormous confidence to grow my business.

I have only implemented about 10% of the training in Marketing on the Fringe. However, my costs are being covered. The tools and the strategies taught will enable me to manage on my own about 10-12 clients.

Just following on from the conversations about automation. In some cases, these can result in your blog being marked as spammy as seen in some cases of sites who were excessively using traffic geyser.

This program sounded quite interesting but the question is how much of this automation is using just straight RSS feeds, other people's videos, etc. If it is not all original content fed to your site, it will not help with staying up high in Google.

          Any further insights?

If the automation is based on sound SEO principles and some clever trick which can be replicated with your own set of tool, then it might be worth a look.

          Thanks.

This message is in response to Findjohns post,

I was reading this thread when I came accross the post from Findjohn.
          I'm from the UK & just about to start an Offline consultancy business and what particularly piqued my interest was;

" I charge a flat fee + a success fee. The Client is happy and I have gained enormous confidence to grow my business."

Can you tell me a bit more how your fee structure works?
This sounds very workable as it's bound to be more acceptable to your clients. Until I saw this thread I was going to charge on results only.
The only concept I'm wrestling with there, is to try & gauge how much profit each business makes from each of their customers.
Is it still going well for you?
Any information you can give me will be much appreciated.
          Thanks.

          Kind Regards

Personally, I loved Bill's new course. I'm sure it will open up the minds of many out there. Yes, there are some costs to the third party tools you may need to make some of the models work for you, but, that's the price you pay for automation.

The cost of the tools will pay for themselves many times over in no time..definitely a great course for some people to look into.

my questions about this product are:

              1. has anyone made any money with it yet?

              2. does he cover which niches work best with ppv?

              3. which affiliate markets work best to promote with ppv ie. clickbank, cpa, paydotcom your own products etc.

              4. different income streams from ppv marketing, which ones work best? and how best to monetize ppv traffic?

affiliate marketing, your own products, list building etc.

What i got out of this was 1- great concepts and 2- automization of ALL of the process. This guy adn this course are undervalued. Yo will see alot more from this guy. I am following him and he is running right now. He is the next Jeff Johnson . Great value of all the things I have bought- 5 star ranking

Did not find too much of useful material in Fringe. The same old marketing as I found in other programs. I had been looking for such programs from long time but haven't been able to locate one that suit my needs. Definitely would like to know for a better program if somebody knows.

just did a quick run through this course as it was recommended by a few ppl. the first 2 sections are basic n00b stuff. the last advanced section is better, got a couple of nuggets out of it.. i think his nested parasite linking structure combine with the senuke/linkwheel method can be quite deadly..

As a newbie, I am so frustrated by what is out there. I need systematic training, that gives step by step guidance that won't eat a hole out of my pocket book.

I don't want to learn something today that will be useless tomorrow. And Marketing on the Fringe at first seemed to be a good fit.

I don't mind putting out costs for add on's such as a reasonably piece of software to automate. but all these monthly subscription sites have become a dime a dozen and can kill a working budget.

Thanks for steering me away from this.

    So where do we go?

I love coming here before I buy an IM product to get all of the warrior opinions.

If it is what I *THINK* it's about, it looks like I'm on the right track w/ my business. I already have senuke, I'm not a big TG fan - i'd rather use other similiar (and cheaper) programs), etc.

      All that's well and good.

But when I start hearing people say $800/mo, blah blah blah.. I just laugh. I got started doing IM after I was fired from my job less than 2 years ago. I've done over $20k in the last 2 weeks online. I used to pinch every penny - but now it's more about automation, outsourcing, etc. I've got 4 employees and use many of the tools that are used by this program..

Here's the deal: I NEVER thought of my business as "a short term solution". If you want this to be your CAREER and your LIVELIHOOD - stop buying 100 ebooks and not doing anything with it. Buy ONE (like this for a stinking $97 or whatever) and spend the rest on IMPLEMENTATION.

I'm do alot in the biz opp industry, and I talk to TONS of people that hop from business to business and never make any money because they've never learned how to create leads/traffic/etc.

Ex.) $500 startup cost, waste money in ads and never track their marketing, FAIL!
rinse and repeat about 5 times (= $2500+ ) until they give up all together..

      OR

$500 on startup costs. lose money in ads, but tracking tells you which ad got the best CTR, optin rate, etc.. Lose the non-converting ads, tweak the sales page, etc. Lose MORE money in ads, but your tweaking brought you closer to 'break even'.

TEST and TWEAK your marketing again and again until you're making thousands per month. This isn't rocket science. It's being consistent, persistent, and taking MASSIVE action.

That's my 2 cents no matter if you get this training for not.

      To Your Success,

      Adam Holland

PS - I just bought a $247 training and already knew 80% of what was in it. But the other 20% is going to double my business. ROI? Friggin' awesome.

PPS - If you're worried about getting your blog(s) banned or sandboxed on google, use SEOhosting.com. Put the blogs on different servers/IPs. And do what I'm in the process of doing: creating 15-20 blogs and beyond. This way if one sh*ts the bed because of google or whatever, my business isn't gone. ;-)

Bought this package, for a few buck you can go in on trial. Certainly woth it's money, both for newbies or advanced marketeers. I enjoyed the video content and the way he is doing his business is certainly a very effective way of doing business online. I found the site itself a bit messy, and it is not easy to separate the basic video's he probably got in a PLR package (how to install wordpress, use CPnel, etc..) from the videos he created himsel. It is not that you have a really nice to read blueprint on one pdf. It is all in bit's and pieces, but there are many golden nuggets inside that will bring you money in and make your life as a marketeer easier. And yes this is written by an olde marketeer who clearly don't look at a buck to find tools to automate the business, but he usually also shows you a few free solutions that are effective (somethimes with a bit more work). There is enough meet inside to keep you busy a few days.
His systems works, but as usually expect more a few days work to setup things up if you don't use philipino slaves.
I personnally am not impressed by the way he sends traffic to his sites, but more by the way he makes sellling sites that probably converts quite well.

I enjoyed this product, and the genuine concerns of Bill McRea, he also gives you access to a clickbank members forum. I did not buy the upgrsell.

You can get a glimpse of his CPA traffic blueprint at marketingonthefringe.com (slash) CPA_TRAFFIC_PLAN.pdf (this is not an affiliate link but a direct link to one of his mind maps)

Bought the package - impressed? yes!
Although there is third party software to purchase if you wish to impliment all of the strategies outlined in the course, I still think it is a good buy.
And yes I did know some of the stuff inside, and yes, the website is a bit messy, but overall there is a lot to be discovered.
My thoughts on having to purchase third party products - if you bought a workshop manual to fix your car, you still have to purchase the tools and parts to repair it - I always look at software and subs as an investment in my business - internet marketing is the only business I know where you can get so much for so little, and most of the stuff you will need carries a money-back guarantee -so I would say go for it!

      BRAVO!

I also purchased Marketing On The Fringe and in my opinion there is not much else out there that delivers WAY over what is advertised. I still look back to it for information constantly. This course teaches beginners to experts. It's no longer $97, it can be purchased for $67 currently.

You need to realize that the internet is fluid and things change quickly. The only way your going to see any results, is when you stop talking and take action.

    Hi Guy's

I purchased "Marketing On The Fringe" and then found out the author uses lots of expensive 3rd party tools that will seriously add to the cost. Maybe you can do without them technically, but that defeats the whole principle behind the system which is using as much automation as possible. There is absolutely no mention of this in the sales copy and I decided the product was a misrepresentation of the sales copy and of no value to me.

So I requested a refund (3 times), to the vendor Bill McRea the "SEO Ninja" who authored the product and 2 times to ClickBank. So far NOTHING, no reply no honor of the guarantee. So is Bill McRea the "SEO Ninja" or the "SCAM Ninga"? You decide but if you order this product forget the guarantee and kiss your money goodbye.

I purchase a number of products from WSO's, ClickBank, PayPal and direct from vendors. Over the year I may return up to 2 or 3 products because they don't represent what the sales copy represented to me. Most vendors honor their guarantee and I am always happy to pay for something of value to me.
