Market Samurai v.s. Micro Niche Finder?

I already own Market Samurai but also wanted to know more about Micro Niche Finder...

I've heard a lot of good things about both programs and just wanted to see others opinions and thoughts.

In my opinion, having used both, stick with Market Samurai. Micro Niche Finder did not meet my needs, even as a newbie.

Both are excellent tools. I happen to use up to 4 keyword tools depending on my niche. However if you do purchase Micro Niche Finder always verify the SOC (strength of competition) results as sometimes even if Micro Niche Finder shows it as low it's a keyword dominated by authority sites and you'll have zero chance of ranking well.

I have used both Market Samurai and Micro Niche Finder. They are both good products but if I had to choose one or the other I would have to choose Market Samurai. Market Samurai has more features than Micro Niche Finder.

I like them both. I ran the Market Samurai until my trial ran out, and I actually own Micro Niche Finder. Like the previous poster said though, you need to double check your data. I think you need to do that with any tool though because the grey matter between your ears is usually right if you use it to double check things that you no better about.

Well since market samurai doesn't include the seo digger anymore is it still worth getting?

    I give my views here.

I used a couple of tools and I though I bought Market Samurai, I didn't use it.

I used Google Keywords tool, always believing that it gives the most accurate data.

    And I was wrong!

Google reported X amount of searches per month for some of the niches but when I finally ranked in the top 3 I didn't get the same amount of traffic. In fact, it's less than 50% of the reported searches in Google. A big deviation of 50%

Just yesterday, I used Market Samurai and I analyze the keywords. It reported x number of searches with HOW MANY CLICKS the top rank would receive.

I tally that with my Google Analytics... It's almost the same. In fact it's only a deviation of 5%-10%.

Now I decided to switch to Market Samurai.

use ppc and bid enough to get your ad on pg 1, see how many impressions you get to confirm traffic #'s...could save you a lot of time on your seo efforts

probably just a coincidence, but did the # of MS searches = # google searches?

Joseph, remember Market Samurai also states they only use an algorithm to 'guess' what that number will be, but it seems to be a very good guess most of the time.

I think Market Samurai is powerful and grab it now because as they add features the price will probably go up... I got it months back for only $69 and I think now it's up to $149-ish maybe(??)

      I'm a believer in it.

        Terry,

How are you finding the competition results compared with google.

Just now I found a keyword with seoc of 705,000 and in google it was around 3000,
now the numbers seem off in both directions. If I would have used a filter I would
        have missed that keyword.

Thanks for all your input Warriors... I just may end up purchasing Micro Niche Finder as well and use them both. Market Samurai has been quite useful for me but I just wondered about Micro Niche Finder.

I don't know if it is worth one more opinion. I have tried both and for me persoanlly I much prefer the look and ease of use of market samurai. There is flaws always with the numbers to a certain extent but if it helps me zero in on a niche to test the market and it does it fast.

I just bought Micro Niche Finder and so far it seems fairly easy to use. They have videos tutorials as well.

Is there someone using MS for some time, I ask because the competition results
I get and the number of adwords advertisers I get compared with google
      seem to be way off.
