    Hmmm... I purchased yesterday morning at full price ($37.00) and I am not yet able to secure my download even after sending support 3 emails. They responded to my first email a few hours after I sent it and said that the 'payment confirmation' was "working now" but that was not to be the case. They have not as yet responded to my 2 other emails sent 8 hours apart.

      That's too bad! I hate lack of support and especially when you're waiting for your product!

      Dittos on that. I have the same problem with no resolution. I've asked twice for a refund with no response.

      I wouldn't recommend doing business with these folks.

        We had a few issues yesterday with some of the earlier sales. IPN thing. It is now fully resolved.

        If you still havent got your details just email our support again... put in caps GIVE ME MY DETAILS :-) support (at) fb-gorilla (.......) com

        Just so we can get everyone setup as I understand purchasing and having no access is frustrating.

          I have tried purchasing FB Gorilla twice this week (the last time being yesterday 12/2/13) but continue to get error messages. The prepapproved payment page goes through at Paypal but that's IT. I have emailed support@fb-gorilla.com twice today for assistance but no reply. JVZoo sys the issue is with the vendor (and not my account).

          Anyone else having problems getting the product after the pre-approved payment page for Paypal is confirmed?

    @1ChrisFox is this plugin in compliant with Fb TOS? So you wont lose your fb fanpage or fb account? ... i'm ready to hit the buy button..

    I have not had a fanpage closed yet. Nor have I had a report of anyone who has had a fanpage closed.

    You are not breaking their terms of service. The way we display animated images is within their guidelines

    We have already added in a new feature - rss module. You can publish rss feeds. I use imgur.com rss feeds and it will publish and save the images onto your fanpage under photos.

      Software is supposed to help the user get the job done faster and better than doing it all by hand. It is not supposed replace the user, just HELP but some users have taken perfectly good software and abused it by turning the dials all the way up until they killed it for everyone.

      If it looks natural and users don't complain about anyone spamming, then everyone will get thier work done a few hours faster every week and spend more time with their kids for a change. Adults really need to grow up sometimes!!

    Hi

    I bought FB Gorilla and have had some issues with it.

    Sent a couple of emails to the email address for support. So far no response.

    This business is using the same email support address to send sales messages from which I don't think is a good idea.

    At least I know they are alive and well or at least their auto-responder is!

              I bought it and put it on one of my Amazon affiliate sites and it actually broke my theme (Woo Themes Canvas). Buttons in the back end (for example, the button to browse your computer for a logo or favicon) wouldn't do anything, the widget section wouldn't function at all (couldn't drag and drop widgets in sidebars, or make changes) and even the post box wouldn't function. I switched my theme over to Thesis, and some of the buttons worked but the widget area was still broken.

              So I deactivated all my plugins and reactivated them one by one and it was FB Gorilla that caused the issues.

              I sent an email to support earlier this week (Tuesday maybe) and haven't heard back yet, so that's my experience.

    I'm still figuring it out but it's great so far!

    I have one PROBLEM though! The Flickr images posted are of a very low quality. They're small. How do I change this setting? There's a setting under the Flickr module "Image width" but there's no explanation what changing this actually does. I've modified it and I still get the same results...

    I started using it and am in evaluation mode:

    I find that the paragraphs run together, there is no space between them.
    That does not look professional.

    In addition, when I delete something, such as a youtube video, it goes ahead
    and publishes it. Then I have to check my fan page more often and delete it
    from there.... Not what I expected.

    Hope they can get it straightened out soon.

    I like the idea of making work easier. How do you fine tune your messaging with software that automatically generates posts?

    I am not knocking the software, it might be great. Just trying to understand more about it before I consider making the purchase.

      It is not that you fine tune your messaging, but that you add to... I have set up about 10 - 20 keywords x 6 different campaigns, that are set up on a schedule and then previewed them to sift out what I did not think was a good fit, looked bad, etc.

      The idea is that it then posts to a fan page on a schedule and you don't have to as much.

      Would wait till people say they are getting support and it was working correctly, if it were me...

      Exactly! I am trying to purchase FB Gorilla and no one has responded to my requests for support in 1 week. It goes to preapproved payment plan (for Paypal) and that's it. I never received an email from Andrew/Chris Fox support saying that I needed to do more etc. to complete the purchase.

      Has anyone else out there had a problem signing up within the last week. Would like to see how many other similar issues like this are out there?

    UPDATE: Just heard back from support and long story short...was told to try signing up again...problems with their webpage....

    Anyway, I was able to sign up Finally! Now, after waiting for support to get back to me (2 days on my second attempt but probably posting here helped), I hope I can navigate the FB Gorilla as easily as described and that it helps in marketing campaigns. Will let you know if I have any questions, issues, etc.

    Ok, thought I would get back to the thread to say that I did not hear back the 12th so sent off another email that evening.

    An email was waiting for me on morning of the 13th. My problem was fixed and I was told the day setting as opposed to the hour setting problem would be passed on and hopefully the next update would cover that.

    So as of now, what I am using is working fine except the day setting as opposed to the hour setting.

      email support support@fb-gorilla.com. I was having problems with the youtube function, support went in and looked at my site, fixed something and it is working fine now.

    The software itself is not too bad except that the games module is a mess and you do need to check on your FB pages to make sure the auto postings make sense and are appropriate. My experience of dealing with the people behind the software and its client support has not been a happy one and has left a very sour taste in my mouth. I would never buy from them again.

    I purchased this FB Gorilla thing a while back and never had time to test until last night. I ran into an issue that I'm still waiting for the response from support. Could anyone please let me know what redirect URL I need to modify to as I copied and pasted the redirect URL from FB Gorilla set up to Facebook app domain, and it kept giving me the error message. Do I need to modify the redirect URL? And how?

    From the tutorial video, it's simply copy + paste, but not in real cases....Please help.

    I purchased FB Gorilla yesterday and while most things work, the games keep giving me an error. Has anyone else encountered this? I just receive a generic error that does not give much in the way of information. It just simply states the following:

    Error: An unexpected error has occurred. Please retry your request later.

      Hello folks. Forgive my ignorance here but i wonder if someone could assist me. I purchased FBGorilla and i'm aware that it's a WP plugin, but i'm a little confused what to do to get it up and running. Do i have to install the plugin to a WP website that i have? or is there another way to run it, e.g. on my desktop/laptop?

      For example, if i installed Instant Wordpress (http://www.instantwp.com/) to my desktop or usb stick, would that work do you think?

      All help/advice appreciated.

        yes, you install it to wordpress site, just as you would another plugin. Make sure to try it out and see how it goes for you. I am still finding it a little buggy.

        Install it on your wordpress like any other plugin. That's how I use it and I've had no problems.

    I can't get access to the download area and the domain looks like it has been dropped, not very impressed - Andrew & Chris Fox -FB Gorilla <support@fb-gorilla.com> is uncontactable and resolves as a DNS look up failure - another indication that all is not good.

    Awaiting an answer in relation to this.

      I bought fb gorilla and in the beginning had issues and the link for support didn't work but I found information that the fox brothers put on as an alternative to the unworking support link and they got back with me very quickly. I used it for posting to my fan pages and it is great. glitches happen but they answered my questions and gave me all the support I needed.... very satisfied I am

    I have been trying to get support from these guys for weeks. They don't even bother to return emails anymore. They can't get old products to work but keep coming out with new products, and we keep buying them. It seems as they are the smart ones.
