Very confusing when some swear to domain name including niche keyword, others says it's not important and not working any longer. What should I believe?

    After Google update algorithm. The strength of Exact Match Domain is greatly decreased. You should focus on keyword research

    EMD still works quite well. I've got a site sitting in #1 for over a year with an EMD, making sales.

    It was never a deal breaker either way. Using or not using an EMD isn't going to determine success or failure. If you do what is necessary to succeed, you will succeed no matter which one you choose.
