    It looks fantastic!
Are you the founder of Justhost.com ?
Will they help me transfer all sites from my current webhost if I want to host with them?

    Thanks,

And what does Unlimited Transfer and Unlimited Space entail? Unlimited with a *? Cause lets say if I upload 100GB and transfer 1 TB, would they allow that? I really think they should take out that clause Unlimited and should not be allowed to put any * next to it. Unlimited should mean just that. And do they have Live Chat support?

I'm just a customer, thought I'd recommend it to everyone and of course they'd help you transfer files etc over.

Really? Do their servers have unlimited hard drive space? Does their datacenter have unlimited bandwidth? I seriously doubt it since either one is impossible.. lol

Sorry, but even as much as I love my "unlimited everything" HostGator account, the word "unlimited" gets thrown around way too much by web hosts. The word is "unmetered" (meaning they won't stick you with a disk quota or hit you with over-bandwidth fees.. but there's still a real hard-limit to both). True unlimited hard disk space and bandwidth are physically impossible, even if your average "unmetered" account isn't likely to ever come close to hitting those real-world limits. It reminds me of a long-distance company who I no longer do business with because they offered me "unlimited minutes" and then charged me for going over 2000 minutes one month when I had a family emergency and had to make a lot of out-of-state calls. They literally told me over the phone "We reserve the right to define unlimited as whatever we see fit. Unlimited means you have 2000 unlimited minutes a month that you can use however you want."

However, at 3.95 a month, thats a great deal. Might have to switch over and give this a try.
I don't see myself leaving HostGator until I'm ready to move on to a VPS or a Dedicated, and even then I might keep my "Baby" plan with HG (or maybe upgrade to a reseller) to host a few sites. I've been with a lot of hosts and their support can't be beat. I had a problem installing a script just earlier today, posted a ticket on their helpdesk and the problem was fixed in a minute flat.. I fully expected to have to wait days (or get them on the phone or live chat) to get it taken care of, since that's been my experience with every other web host I've ever had technical issues with.

Do I understand right - that they will renew your domain name each year for free. Or is that part of the cost?

Same question for me as well. Are they providing the domain name for no extra charge for as long as you have the account? Are they their own registrar or do they go through enom or someone?

It is unlimited until you read their terms of service:
    Just Host

Then they have these pearls I can't even decipher:
"We take a zero tolerance stance against sending of unsolicited e-mail, bulk emailing, and spam. "Safe lists" and "double opt-in" will be treated as spam."

    Double opt-in is spam?

I think you should not select hosting provider only based on cost. You should check on the infrastructure, features, check if they give a control panel to manage your hosting. More than that how professional are they. Do not give hosting to a one man company.

It's the same cPanel that all the other hosts use.

I presently use bluehost as my provider. I have found it very simple to use and can host up to 2500 domains if needed. It is very cost efficient really, your main domain is $98 and when you carry your sub-domains it is $10 per domain.

I have not really looked at others because I have had very good luck with bluehost.

I will look at the others that have been mentioned.

    Thank you,

    Charles
