I got the free version. I keep reading that it's a basic system without any plugins. Before I even upload this sucker, can someone please explain just how "basic" this version is? And what plugins/costs are extra? I can't seem to find any literature or pricing anywhere. |

OK, I think I found the answer (kinda) here. Below is a list of features that ARE NOT INCLUDED in the free version of Delavo. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Please Quote:

Yep you are correct, but before that list deters you from using Delavo, you just need to understand what YOUR business model is and whether or not you will need certain plugins. For example, if you are not going to be physically shipping anything then you don't need the shipping or taxes plugin. Do you plan on doing in JVProducts now, if not then you don't need that plugin. Do you want to ask questions from your customers or offer OTO's? Then maybe you should get those plugins. The thing is, the platform you have is enough for you to run your business. It's just a matter of how much you want to customize it. With these plugins you make Delavo work the way that suits YOUR business needs and not a one size fits all application. |

(thanks Sonja) BlueSquares (very good logo btw) I am sure you also studied that image too http://delavo.com/images/aboutdelavo-ss.gif Don't let the "free" offer to trick you. As for the plugins there will be more actually, soon. Version 1.1 is going to be released soon too. Enjoy! John |

Hi, I just came across this thread while doing some research. Here is the latest: Three of the new plugins have been released (at a very reasonable cost in my opinion). Drupal Wordpress Blog Publisher I am lucky in that I have all of the previous plugins (as well as a couple that I co-developed). If anyone needs clarification on how to decide if and which plugins to get - please don't hesitate to ask me. Brian |
