Default Article Bot Thoughts?

Hey guys,

I have SocialBot, and got it for a great deal at $7. It works alright and does save me a good amount of time, but I am curious about ArticleBot now.

I remember reading they would be updating all the trafficmania software regularly starting this month I believe, any insights?

In order for it to work successfully, an article submission program would need to be updated a LOT, so I am curious how it is working for any current owners.

Thanks,

Jim

I don't have first hand knowledge but i heard that both items you are mentioning are good products.

I would think since you got the SocialBot for such a good deal you should reward them with repeat business.

I really want to get both of those but im hoping for another discount in the relatively soon future.

I bought ArticleBot about a week ago and have just started to use it. Bottom line, it works, and I'm happy with the purchase. I also like the price and that it didn't come with an ongoing monthly fee.

It doesn't have some of the features included in other applications such as the ability to spin the body of the article, but it seems from my reading that doing so probably isn't necessary for submitting to 2nd tier article directories, which comprise 98%+ of the directories included.

It also has a few interface quirks that are to be expected in a v1.0 release of any product, but I've been told they will be fixed in an upcoming release. They aren't bugs as they don't prevent the application from working, but more inconveniences.

I don't regret the purchase, and plan to keep using it for some time.

Hope this helps,

-David

Hey David. I like ArticleBot but was wondering if you've gotten it to submit properly to EZA? And I'm curious as to how you figure out what script a given directory uses? I added a few of my own and had to add the actual submit page. I've been talking with Diego about it but would like your input as well if you could?

Use the coupon code CPAMARKETERS to get ArticleBot (or any other Incansoft product) for $7.77. But do it quick. That code won't work for long.

This is an entirely different programme, it's not a spinner like the other Articlebot - which I hated and got a refund for - this is for submitting articles. This would be obvious to anyone who read the rest of this thread.

I suggest you apologise, "Big Mike" is not someone you should upset, particularly when he's had a drink! lol.

A question: Did you read the thread? Did you read the sales page? It is a submitter and one that works quite well, not a spinner or anything like that. The support is outstanding and the prices are such that anyone can afford it. I'm impressed that in only 8 posts you've managed to insult a very solid businessman and marketer. Not the best way to introduce yourself to a forum where most try to help one another.

In any case, welcome! And give his software a look at Incansoft | Experience The Difference Today!. All I can tell you is that his software enabled me to serve more people, make more sales and truly leverage my time better, as there's nothing more tedious than submitting to social sites, blogs, rss feeds, directories and articles.

Cheers!

I purchased this software, and while I have not tested it yet... just from reading the manual and testing the interface it seems like it could be my favorite ArticleBot of all time.

If it tests out okay, I'm going to buy the Press Release software.

I'll give a more detailed review after testing it tomorrow.

Thanks for this.

If you are saying that your level of smarts is so elevated that you could master a cumbersome "spinner" software, how come you have not had the wit to read a thread, be cognisant of the fact that "lol" signifies a humorous comment and checked out "Big Mike".

So you can better understand why you are winding people up with your remarks, perhaps you would check out this link: big mike warrior forum - Google Search

I've been involved in the stock market, forex and emini niche since 1998, and I really see these article bots as the same thing the trading bots are: Suckers bets for lazy people who don't want to do the work themselves. They always eventually blow up, and your left holding the bag with no idea what just happened to you.

I have used ArticleBot for a while and really like it.

Agreed, it's somewhat non-intuitive to use, but I got used to it and it performs.

There is nothing even close in price and performance out there, and "Big Mike" supports his products. I had an issue with another Incansoft product, and Mike personally emailed me and repaired the problem.

I have to take issue with Brandon Lee and the "lazy people" theory. ArticleBot isn't a spam tool - if you read the very complete instruction manual, "Big Mike" states, as the first subject, the dangers of spamming, and how NOT to use ArticleBot to spam.

ArticleBot simply submits your unique content to article sites - en masse.

I always submit articles to EZA manually - don't want to take a chance screwing up my main source of traffic, as EZA keeps getting pickier with each month - it seems. Most other article directories I automate because they simply don't carry the weight of EZA. And it works fine.

Just my 2 cents.

I am glad that everyone has good things to say about ArticleBot.

Still, I just wonder about the updating features? How often is this thing updated, do some Article Directories just stop working/freeze the automation process? etc....

Thanks for the feedback guys!

First of all, it's not a copycat and Donald and I had a long email discussion about this when he first sent me a cease and desist order. The Incansoft ArticleBot does not do what his ArticleBot does and obviously we're continuing to use the name, which was never formerly trademarked anyways.

As to the name of it, four (or five?) years ago, we started out with SocialBot, and last year added RSSBot, DirectoryBot, PressBot and logically ArticleBot this year...the name is nothing more than a progression of what we were already using, falling under another brand name aptly called Traffic Mania.

I sense sour grapes here Brandon - oh well.

For those not familiar with the Traffic Mania Bots, these are specifically designed to be non-BlueFart, non-spamming tools. What they are designed for is to simply automate an otherwise redundant process, that you could do manually or hire someone to do for you.

We do this on purpose - many of our customers are non-technical users who could easily make mistakes with other BlueFart tools, that would in turn, cause them to lose out on the long-term benefits of what we're doing.

For the OP, yes, we do update the bots and have two systems in place for this - one is the update system, which downloads new services, etc. and the other is the upgrade system which downloads new program versions as we release them.

Over the years, using SocialBot as an example, we've steadily updated and improved the programs, so it's unlikely that as Brandon would like you to believe that we're leaving you holding the bag.

I'll be the first one to say that none of the bots are perfect - but you won't find any similar program out there that is. These bots do take a lot of time and effort to maintain and improve, but we're very, very good at it.

Currently, we've emailed all of our RSSBot users to get their final input for the next major upgrade (it's free), because all of you know better than us what will make it work best for you.

We've got both short and long-term plans for these bots as well as several more (VideoBot, PADBot and BlogBot to name a few), and some of our plans are going to blow away anything out there.

We're in in this for the long haul and we're committed to continuing to develop and improve the best quality bots on the market. Considering the insane pricepoint we discount these at, it's the deal of the century

And if you've not gotten SocialBot yet, you want to before V5.0 is released - something truly groundbreaking is being launched in that version

I'm using it right now. Seems to work pretty well. The interface is a little quirky. I created accounts for a large amount of directories and some of the creations were unsuccessful. The problem was that I had no way to delete these from the list or create a list without those directories in it. The same occurred with the article submission. It just seems very difficult to create directory lists. You can export a list and edit it there but not enough data is exported to allow you to choose which directories to edit out.

Also, it will only delete one directory at a time and then starts at the top of the list again so you have to scroll down each time to delete another directory. Fairly time consuming if you want to delete a lot of directories.

It's possible I just haven't figured it all out yet so I'll keep working at it. All that being said, once I get the directory list streamlined it will work great. Can't beat it for around $8.

Here's my thoughts:

- The automatic account generation feature alone is worth TWICE the regular price!

- It works as advertised, no more, no less.

- If you're looking for spin-on-the-fly-during-submissions, it's NOT for you. Look for something like Article Post Robot or something like that.

- While the software itself is solid, the customization is a pain in the a$$. It doesn't allow you to edit your article directory "groups" easily.

- I personally have to use a 3rd party database software, SQLite Expert if I recall correctly, to play with the database (luckily I'm a coder myself!)

All in all, I think it's the BEST in the price range... no doubt about it.

This from Wikipedia:

Thus, it could change the sentence "The dog is next to the house" to "The puppy is near the building". By copying articles and converting them in such a way, it is possible to quickly generate plenty of original content. For that reason, it has angered webmasters and bloggers, afraid that the application will be used to copy their contents in an undetectable way.
It is believed it may also be used for search engine optimization since search engines will not be able to detect the copied content and exclude it from their index. Jonathan Bailey, of plagiarismtoday.com, however notes that the application is very difficult to configure and the produced content sounds like it has been written by somebody with a poor command of English.[1] ArticleBot is also suspected to be spying on its users and to be sending a copy of every created project to articlebot.com.[2]
So what this means is this is a automated plagiarism machine - software that builds thousands of web-pages of content that ends up sounding like a second grader wrote it, and what is more, as it re-steals content that it previously "botted" the quality of the content continues to degrade.

Frankly, I would at least like to be able to take content, perhaps books that have gone out of copyright, and my own material and pump that in, instead of stealing others content off the web, then I would want to be able to hand fix up anything so that the sites at least look and sound appealing.

I think I would look for, or build a better system that would not get me into possible plagiarism troubles. Just me.

Just bought 5 or 6 things from you- all looks pretty cool!

I did see the note on articlebot about it accepting rotating titles+resource boxes but does it allow you to import article spins..?

I'd hate to submit same article body to all directories..

If not, that'd be a nifty addon!

many thanks for running this special- dang!

Article bot could be made even "better" by having it find targeted affiliate sites, stealing and transforming the content, and then replacing the affiliate links with your own. Each site found could be duplicated (albeit slightly differently several dozens of times) - thereby diluting the legitimate sites income as you re-funnel it to yourself.

I say this, of course, sarcastically.

Next time you might try actually reading what you are responding to. This software has nothing to do with what you are talking about...

Yes, I realize that it does not do that now, my point was that it could indeed be made to do that, hence the point about being "sarcastic". Does it, or does it not grab content that the user did not create in order to synthesize "new" content? Does it, or does it not get that content from sites designated/discovered/spider-ed from input and keywords?

I went to the site and to other sites about how the bots work - and I am a software engineer so indeed it could be made to automatically steal affiliate links, and I am sure there are variations that exist now that do just that. I am against that, by the way - I think it is theft.

Just me.

The ArticleBot you're referring to is not the ArticleBot being discussed in this thread. The Incansoft ArticleBot is for submitting your own articles to article directories.

I want to sincerely apologize to the list, I was under the impression that the article-bot being discussed was the one here: Article Bot: Content-Generator.

Please forgive me for that, I should have clarified, nevertheless, I stick to my stand on the plagerizing type of bot.

Hi,

Just visited the articlebot website in order to make a purchase or two but the discount codes do not appear to work any longer. Are there any newer discounts available or planned?

I think that any article submission software without a spinning function/feature is useless. It ruins the whole point of article marketing. Well, at least that's what I think!

Article Bot has a headline rotator and also rotates resource box text.

It's not the same as a spinner, but it makes AB a versatile submission
tool.

For premium Article directories like EZA, I would go with a hand-submit generally
anyway. AB submits to a lot of directories running on autopilot with basic
article-site scripts.

Are people gonna read your articles? maybe.

Are they good for backlinks? sometimes.

It's pretty cool for the price Big Mike charges. This is coming from me,
who generally will call article marketing very tedious... even though
I can whip out trite articles in minutes.

ArticleBot is great for this linking strategy:

1. Put out a PAID and well written press release with a
live link to the site you want to rank for keyphrase.

2. Put out an article through AB linking to the press release.

###

Whose gonna read the articles? Not many people.

Whose gonna read the PR? a few more.

Whose gonna get some juice for his site? Me. I use this technique
and it's a hella easy way to make some good backlinks.

Big Mike is reducing all Icansoft products to 9.99 to help out Michael Oksa. 100% of 9.99 will be donated to Michael, to help him out with his financial situation. Use the code MICHAELOKSA, all caps.

Thread on Michael Oksa can be found here

I think this is the best time to buy, I just bought Pressbot, RSSbot and Socialbot, thinking of getting Content Mania. Pls support!

Thanks for the info - I have made some purchases. I've started looking at articlebot and it looks SOOOOO much better than my existing article submitter. The advice in the manual is excellent too.

Thanks to Big Mike and I hope that the special offer is a great help to Michale Oksa and his family.

Incansoft's ArticleBot is being upgraded (well, the upgrade is done - I'm just testing) and it now supports articles spun using the Jet Spinner Syntax in addition to being able to rotate Titles and Resource Boxes.

Actually, all the Incansoft "Bots" are being upgraded with this capability

Big Mike, Why don't you extend the sale on your Icansoft products to help raise money for this worthy cause. I know I would buy a lot of your products in a effort to help out.

ArticleBot does kick butt.

It did take me a while to figure out the best way to make it efficient and most effective, but now I'm reaping the rewards.

Can't wait for the updated version.
