I always use a separate piece of software to upload sites. There are many to choose from such as filezilla, smart ftp, wsftp etc... By the way, the html code produced by front page is usually awful. It is bloated and has lots of extra markup which is unnecessary. Stick to dreamweaver. |

For WYSIWYG editors, Dreamweaver is heads above Front Page in my opinion, no question no competition. If you're just looking for an ftp program, I personally have been using Fire Ftp for the last few years. It's a free browser plugin for flock/firefox. I use to use smart ftp, also have used the built in one within Dreamweaver which is just fine, but Fire ftp is just a really nice setup, easy, fast, and convienent right there on your browser toolbar. |

I like Dreamweaver best. I prefer to write the code rather than use the WYSIWYG, and Dreamweaver has good features for that, like auto-complete and syntax colouring. I also use a separate tool to FTP my websites to the server - Filezilla, its free...

Please note that Front Page has been discontinued. Microsoft's new web development package is now Expression Web Designer: http://www.microsoft.com/expression/...w.aspx?key=web Tyrus |

I really wonder why do so many people still ask about Frontpage. It is discountined since 2003 !!! Lol, forget Frontpage. (Maybe Frontpage users use IE6, too?) Use Filezilla to upload files to your hosting. |

Dreamweaver WAS good. When Macromedia was doing it. Now, I find it bloated, and it futzes with my Master Boot Record, which is a BIG no-no. However, I will say that Microsoft's Expression Web builder is quite good. But for me, the best is Aptana.
