Anyone have any luck with Google Sniper?

I bought the book a while ago but havent had the chance to put it into action. I read it through a few days ago and decided I'd give it a go and fire out 10 sniper sites this weekend. I just wondered if anyone here has had any success with it so far?

I've made VERY good money using strategies mentioned in GSniper. I'm not an affiliate but this system has really added to my bottomline. I've put out 20+ sniper sites till now and they earn me a handsome amount every month.

Kudos to George for such a great product. I'd recommend you put the writing into action. You'll be pleased at the results!

Hey Swastik, congrats on your success!

Me, I am running in circles with Google Sniper:
      • Got a website ranking #3 in target keyword
      • Search term has 6,600 global monthly searches (Exact Matches) at Google Keyword tool
      • But the site is getting less than 1 visitor a day
I told myself not to invest more on domains until this one starts bringing some traffic, but I only got 8 visitors since it got listed 4 weeks ago. Should I push for #1? Why isn't the traffic clicking in? Clues, please, clues.

Google Snipe works if you do EXACTly what it says. The first 3 or 4 sites I put up I tried to get fancy and thought I knew how to make it better. Those sites didn't do very well needless to say.

The ones I built that are exact to Georges blueprint rank first page with no backlinking whatsoever. They do bring in consistent sales but for me I had to get almost 20 up to see a decent weekly side income from it.

***Don't search Global, search local that should knock that 6,600 down a little.

Ah that sounds encouraging...I'm struggling not to sound fake with 'my story' for my first attempt at a sniper site. Ahhh well, I'm gonna fire out 10 and see what works and what doesn't.

Finally got around to checking out Sniper (bought WAY too many products starting up). George says look for under 7000 hits with quotes but aren't I competing for terms WITHOUT quotes? I found some doozies (like 70000 searches but only 1500 competing sites) with quotes. Am I screwing something up? W/O quotes the count is 210000 with a PR 5 on top.

          Hi Billy,

You are searching using quotes because that is the nuber of sites that are actually competing for that search term although the actual search volume wthout quotes is far higher.

Yes, I realize that. But what advantage does using quotes have if I will be competing against all the sites w/o quotes? In other words, if I SEO the site as Google Sniper suggests will my site rank above the ones w/o quotes?

Yes - the ones that appear without quotes are not actively seo'd for that search term so should be easy to outrank.

              Hope that helps.

  • @ Xalamon

It could be your product. If it´s an internet marketing product, which often have a short live, than it could be over. Last month it had 6,600 visitors, this month nearly nothing.

You should also try to search for competitors using allintitle http://www.google.co.uk/#hl=en&sourc...ey+online&fp=1 and also allinurl http://www.google.co.uk/#hl=en&sourc...93214ba89cf9to determine how you can outrank them.

I haven't purchased this product. I'm looking at the threads and trying to be helpful, if that's okay?

Upstate Cowboy .... I think you nailed it! Global monthly searches says 6,600 but Local Search Volume shows "Not enough data".

Now, the book says something about ignoring the Local Search Volumes. I just understood this might have not been such a good idea.

But thanks for this advice. I'll go back to that section of the book and follow your advice of finding a keyword with both Global and Local searches.

affiliated survivor ... actually it is a more generic "how to..." keyword on a niche that has a long live.

Hackbridge ... I was going to take this route (to start marketing the site) but it would be no use, as I am already ranking pretty high for several of the targeted keywords and LSIs

In short, I'm gonna start from scratch all over again, because it was awesome to see my site rank first over so many competitors.

I'll just make sure to find a keyword with some local searches as well. Cheers and good luck!

If you've got a keyword that gets around 6000 searches a month, that's like 200 searches a day, right?

If you are on page 1 of google, in the top three, I would say that we could calculate with 10% of that traffic should go to your site (and probably even more)

        That's 20 a day.

Are you with me so far?

Now, if you're only seeing >5 visitors a day, then something is wrong.

First of all, how do you track your rank?
Do you use google.com or some kind of ranktracker tool?

Seconf, if you are certain that your site is ranking for that main keyword of yours, then you should take a look at the description of your site.

If the description sucks, then people aren't clicking. Simple as that.
If you're totally blank, then take a look at the adwords ads to get some inspiration.

        Hope this helps.

for like only 20 bucks GGSNIPER is a good buy. Just set up my first site and i'm number 3 on a 2900 searches a month KW. Going for one w/ some more bookmarking to do. I've made 200$ in a month with this site/product so far. Not bad.

      Hi BuisnessIM.

Normally, Yahho Answers is a good sign, so is squidoo, blogger, wetpaint etc.

I normally don't look that much at the number of comp. pages, but more at the actual pages I'll be competing against; the sites on #01 page of google.

It's kind a hard to explain, but after you've set up a lot of sites you've get a feeling for it.

Look out for PR4+ sites and take web2.0 properties as a good sign, along with other user generated content, like forums, yahoo answers, bookmarks and stuff.

      Hope that helped you

And one last thing.. just go for it, it's the only way you'll learn!!!

I'm posting this in case anyone else is having the same problem.

Although I am ranked #3 on G, when I log out from google I am at #9. Apparently google stores the websites you click the most and ranks them higher on SERPs. I will be linkwheeling the site until I get to spot #1 and will report back. Thanks for your advise.

Yeah.. I was fooloed too by that when it came out, hehe...
It sounds like you're putting all your focus on one page and waiting for it to hit jackpot?

If that's the case, then you really, really should let that site go and use your energy on creating more niche blogs.

When you're blogging like this (keyword targeted and little content) you'll have to put many sites out there to see a consistent income.

Oh, and another thing, be careful not to create too many backlinks in a short amount of time. That's the stuff that will get your site move away from #1 page. You want to make everything appear natural as natural as possible.

Anyway, looking forward to hear how everything is going.
