I just purchased "Profit with Michael" and feel like I got ripped off. Has anyone else purchased this? First he says everything is free and he'll teach for free because he makes money when you make money. He says he sets up a free website for you and drives free traffic for you, but than when it's all said and done he asks for you to pay for hosting at $29.00 and than you also get charged for a domain name for $14.00 which he doesn't tell you about. Even after I fell for it there was no training nothing. He promised you would make money in 48 hrs or he would pay you $100.00 dollars money back guarantee, but I don't know how to even request my money back. I can't believe this BS it's all the same there's never any products with real value that actually allow people to make money. I'm just so upset and feel like money was stolen from me and my family and we don't have money to be throwing around that's why I was trying to make extra money in the first place. It's my own fault I knew better. I feel defeated, cheated and broken.

Yes, I fell for it too. The worst part for me is that he insists you use Cloud Pro Hosting. They had ripped me off before. The website they gave me my computer doesn't want to go to since the security certificate isn't right. There is no training & you will never hear from these people. But saw this was in the top 10 ranked hot sellers. Have tried to get info here at the forum but you are the first I've seen. Usually check here before I join a program, but couldn't find this on here. God Bless us all!

Oh man, it sure does appear you've been scammed, though one thing that should have been a red flag it the $29.00 hosting.his own hosting obviously, especially when there's cheaper alternatives.

In future the best and safest approach is to do your due diligence, find out as much info on this Mike guy, the product, check out scam watch and review sites..we need to be so careful before we hand over money..
The Warrior Forum and even better War room membership at $37.00 one time payment offers a lot of great information.

I know it was dumb of me. I usually do my research and take the necessary precautions, I don't know what I was thinking. I got the refund from the hosting company and also for the domain name which I was surprised about. I figured the hosting cost was because they were building the website too. I usually Hostgator which is like $10.00 a month. You think as long as I have been researching to make money online I would have known better but.......I have become just so bitter towards the internet marketing community now. It seems like no one actually produces anything with real value with step by step instructions on how to actually make money. It seems like the only way to really make money online is to sell other people crappy hyped up no real information products on how to make money online lol. For once I would like to see a product that looks over the shoulder of an honest person making an honest living online that a newbie can follow and replicate. Here's to dreaming big and wishful thinking.

It's really sad to hear product owners exploiting us like this. It happens so many times and the upsells just make us broke. Some of these guys simply don't have a heart and simply interested in making $$$$$$. God help us all!

  • I am sorry to hear about your experience with this Mike guy, that really blows.
If you are looking to make money online you will need a few things
    1. A website and Domain name(there are free websites out there just Google it if you are low on cash)
    2 web hosting service
3 a auto responder( getresponse is free for 30 days and aweber is only $1 for 30 day trail)
4 load your auto responder for at least 30 days with solo ads and useful info for your niche
5 Place solo ads in ezines ,on blogs,in forums directing traffic to an opt in page build your list. and keep promoting.

Thanks for the support guys. I am not new to internet marketing I have built some webpages for Amazon review sites even made a little money (not much).and than Amazon stopped their affiliate program in my state. I do know I need website and domain name.

What do you mean by solo adds in ezines?
Does anyone have an example of a good niche site or opt in page that I could use as an example of what kind of thing I should be doing?

Thank you for the breakdown. They say the site is safe. It is Cloud Pro Hosting. I have been trying to get a warrior opinion because when I go to cpanel, address bar stays red. Asked for Warrior for Hire. Don't know how to track it in threads. So, looking for someone to set up admin & cpanel, preferably with Cloud Pro Hosting experience.

I feel a lot like the rest of you do. I tried of some of these programs promising everything but you really get nothing for your money or you find out about all the upsells.

Something else, I only look at a program if they have a money back guarantee.

One other thing, I am done with support tickets when you have a problem and wait days. If customer support doesn't have a phone number you can call with a problem, I will not even look at their program anymore.

          Good Luck,

Hi, I also signed up for the profit with Michael website. I was originally looking at it because it was a CPL affiliate offer at one of the affiliate networks I am a member of, so I assumed it was trustworthy but I still wanted to check it for myself before I put it on my website. Originally thinking that it was free I thought I had nothing to lose. But then they wanted the $29 for hosting which I paid as you were promised you would get $100 back if it did not work. It then sent me to another site called Web fire which also required payment. This website was supposed to find you free traffic??
After reading this post I have asked both sites for my money back so we will see how that goes.
For those who have done this and feel they have no way of getting their money back there is actually a system when you use your credit card called chargeback if you call your credit card owners you can ask them for a chargeback on the credit card.
I hope this helps some. Cheers

The guy had me going for awhile. I sat through most of the presentation for about 20 minutes I guess until I was asked to pay for hosting. He said it was free. I went straight away to my email and then unsubscribed. If anybody here got taken, I'm on your side. While the video was going I texted "profit with Michael" and saw it might be a scam.

It sure was a good selling job. It hit all the buttons. So if you got taken or almost taken, you have a lot of company.

There are a number of these programs that say I'm not going to ask you for any money and give you a free website. THen they ask for 6 months hosting and buying a domain. So yes, they are making money. Make sure you check Warrior Forum reviews and if its too soon for the Warrior Forum ask yourself if it sounds to good to be true it probably is. Stick to fundamental business plans.

Unfortunately, I fell for this too. $29 +14.95 later and yes I've got a "money making website" set up but I haven't heard a word from michael since and as such have no idea what to do with the bloody thing. Trying out the whole money back guarantee spiel but I'm not very optimistic, I know how these things generally go.

That website must have some kind of subliminal trap, because as most of you have said, even with past experience, fell for the offer, I too,,,

My God, I should have done an online search before subscribing to that crap called profitwithmichael and coolhandle.com, and I could have landed on this review site, and saved me the headaches to come, from what I have read here, they, the headaches, are only the beginning.

Somebody sent me an e-mail promising a profitable online business opportunity, I clicked the link and arrived to a video presentation, offering a professional all done for you website with ready to get targeted traffic.

This website was valued at $397.00 but I was going to receive it for only $29.95, one time payment.

Since I had received similar videos with this kind of presentation and they had very good websites, but at a much higher price, I thought that this would be an excellent opportunity to join this offer.

The website was: affiliatesitepros.com and had connections with: NewAffiliateCashSystem.com from some David, other related websites: yourprofitwebsite.com, and profitwithmichael.com,

When I clicked the payment button it said $29,95 monthly fee, one time payment for first month?????

I still did, behaved like a moron, and paid with my credit card, there the problems started, the links are troublesome, didn't understand the instructions, but clicking links randomly, got the website ¿built?,

The website was worst than amateur, with bad English, no correlations, and I don't know who would buy anything from that website,

Then I read their TOS, Terms Of Service, WAO!!!!!!

They charge even for breathing, and the most espectacular: a cancellation request could take up to 15 days and during those days you could be charge for different fees,

They offered a 60 day money back guaranteed, that turned out to be a 30 day one in their TOS, Since they had so many restrictions I decided to cancel my subscription immediately: I joined on March 2, 2014, sent the Cancellation Form on March 6, you have to use their Cancellation Form for the cancellation to be valid, so they say,

This is done through their support ticket system, where there is no way to follow them, although they insist on following them if you want to be served correctly, Their support system has a priority setup, but they are the only one able to indicate the priority of a support ticket, this cancellation request was valued as "low" priority,

On March 7, I received a response indicating me not to cancel, but if I wanted to cancel I had to send a termination comfirmation ticket,

If you don't respond they consider that you are keeping the service, I understand that the opposite should have been the case,

I sent the termination request immediately,

They said that a support technician or personnel would promptly respond to my request,

Since 18 days passed without I receiving the refund, I sent a reply requesting the refund, they responded by indicating that cancellations were handled in the order received, I responded if they had so many cancellations requests that in 18 days they had not refunded my money,

In a whois search they seem to be based in California: 700 W 6 St, Los Angeles, CA, 90017, phone number: 1-866-200-2828, Admin: Cool Handle Hosting, apparently they have protected their domain for 16 years: 2002 - 2018,

From what I have read here I will probably have to contact a consumer protection agency in Los Angeles, CA, the Federal Trade Commission, do something with my credit card so that I won't be charged for other or monthly fees,

I don't know if I am still in time to request a chargeback from my card company?

Does any one know what is the time limit for a chargeback request?

I should have known better, not doing a scam search before buying,

      Sincerely,

      Luis Antonios

Can I have the website URL you have got from him? Actually the hosting and domain part is not a scam because you need these. The thing is the hosting price is too high. Did he provide you any process for driving traffic and any guide on how to make money from the site he provided?

I've experienced almost exactly the same with another marketer back in late 2008. That's when i didn't have a business yet; I was more of a hobbyist than anything serious.

My "free" website required hosting with a very particular company that charged $197 for a year of hosting. My special "super affiliate" site turned out to be this spam html site with a ton of banners and no content.

I refunded through the hosting company but later (stupidly) jumped onto the same dudes $297 product at a special rate of $17 (LOL at the discount).

What i did not realize is that the $17, supposedly one time, was actually recurring monthly. Worse yet was the actual product, an online treasure map to success, was a vague big picture course teaching you to create value and sell it to people looking to solve a problem.

Not worth the time and money, not to mention the headache it caused to finally cancel the payments.

There are a lot of these guys out there, sad to say. Even though I have a successful business now I think a lot of other warriors have been through this crap as well.

So please don't think that the entire online business world is like this. There are definitely some crap marketers out there but quite a few more ethical ones to fill their place

Doing a follow up to my posts # 17 and 18 above.

Profit with Michael is one of the worst scams you can join.

From March 2, 2014 up until now I have been requesting the refund and nothing has happen.

Take notice of their TOS [Term of service] apart from the many things they say for not refunding your money. They have many gimmicks.

One curious is that they say that if you have received a "free" website you will be charged a $100.00 fee if you cancel your hosting service with them. My defense is that the website isn't free for them. Michael says that he is paying the $997 that costs the website setup.

Cool handle received $997 from Michael, that says Michael.

    On my journey trying to get my refund I have done the following;

    Contacted them several times, nothing.

Complaint with the Better Business Bureau, they are a member there, The BBB contacted them and me a few times, trying to negotiate, nothing.

Contacted the Federal Trade Commission, nothing.

Presented a complain with the California Consumer Attorney General, nothing.

Presented the case to the Los Angeles, California Consumer Affairs Agency, they are a mediation program. They contacted cool handle and they said that they would refund me in 48 hours [2 days], a week have passed without cool handle having contacted me.

I have presented my situation in several scam blogs.

Although I won't stop requesting those funds, my next step is to look for an attorney in Los Angeles to take my case.

Since this could be costly, we could file a class action case. These take years, but we can teach cool handle and all the other scammers a lesson. Even if we don't win the case we can make them spend even millions of dollars in court.

I once participated in a class action case that took 17 years to win, I only spent an envelope and a mail stamp, that's about one dollar, but the company had to spend five million dollars [yep, $ 5,000,000.00]. I received $200.00.

I have participated in two other class action cases, one took three years, and the other five years. But remember all I spent was an envelope and a mail stamp in each case. Attorneys take care of every thing,

    Since I live outside of California, getting a California attorney would be difficult for me;

if any of you live in California, and better yet in Los Angeles and could help us,

I invite all those having been scammed by Michael and cool handle to keep in contact and participate in this class action case.

If you are thinking on joining a program and the payment process is directly with the company, be aware, that could be a scam flag.

Getting a refund from direct paying companies could be very difficult, if not impossible, like it is with cool handle.

IF YOU DON'T KNOW THE COMPANY and if the payment processor is their own, usually keep out.

IF the payment processor is Paypal or Clickbank, even if the product is crap you are guaranteed a refund if you are not satisfied with the product, even if the company doesn't say so.

You can buy products with direct payment processors if the company has an excellent reputation, like Amazon, E-bay, Sears, JC Penny, Wal-Mart, etc.

An unknown company could be honest and legitimate and have its own payment processor, but there are so many scam schemes out there that it is better to keep on the safe side, and even contact the company and telling them the issue. I did it once and the company let me pay with Paypal.

      Sincerely,

      Your friend,

      Antonios

It sucks to hear about another prick scamming people but, after I was scammed by another "product" and creator on the forum, I learned to ALWAYS come here and ask about the product, creator, etc.

I've avoided several purchases after I came here 1st. You won't get a true review from most sales pages cause they usually give the product out to their friends. So, come here when you want the truth about a product and it's creator.

    Sorry to hear this,

Each time I receive an offer of a product to be payed through my credit card and it does not have a PayPal option, I make a VERY deep due diligence to find out if it's legit and from a well known vendor with no scam reports.
Even in that case I normally do not buy.
Any vendor can have a PayPal account and if they don't have one, something may be wrong with that kind of offers or with the vendor.

The Los Angeles Consumer Protection Agency (LACPA), a mediation agency, has contacted several times. Coolhandle tells them that they will communicate with me, but they don't.

LACPA can't force them to pay.

Definitely, they aren't going to refund my or your money.

I was advice to take them to court, but I live outside LA and getting an attorney there could be quite expensive.

A class action could probably be taken, and this could be through ripoffreport, but nobody seems interested on this.

I participated in other class action cases, attorneys do all the work and get paid when they win the case.

Has anybody here any experience with this or that can offer any practical suggestions?
