Best Amazon Review Site Guide/Wso?

Hi,

I am trying to build amazon review websites and wanted to know what the best and most current guide/wso is if possible? Does anyone know a good guide that still works today with all of the google updates? Thanks

There actually are several areas that need to be addressed when promoting Amazon products, and I have never seen anything that exceeds resources in this package:

"The Elements of Style", by William Strunk
"Turn Words Into Traffic", by Jim and Dallas Edwards
    "Permission Marketing", by Seth Godin
"Brand Against the Machine", by John Morgan

This is my own required reading for training all of my in-house researchers/writers. Powerful stuff.

Myob above uses article marketing I think? he might correct me here and from what I have read of his previous posts does very well out of them, I'd go back and check some of his posts if you want to go his route.

As for review type sites, Chris Jones has a course out called 'Azon Kickstart 2014' as a WSO and I'd check out anything by Erica Stone who posts on here as Sojourn.

    Erica Stone.

Her products will literally take you by the hand through writing reviews that convert. How to set up your site, and target buying Keywords.

My warning bell is that you are looking to set up Amazon review Website"s".

Build 1. Get it up to 50-60 reviews. See if it works (traffic increasing and sales coming). If it does keep it going. I have two sites, the first didn't really convert after 60 reviews so I started a second and is now generating over a grand a month.

Second tekken2's recommendation for Erica Stone products. She has several relevant guides and she is the Amazon expert on Online Business Insiders, which is a monthly forum I also recommend - at least for a few months. It is a great way to get help on specific questions.

Also tekken2 was right about developing one site to profitable (or where you know you are going to give up on it because in good faith you cannot say that it will work.) That mini-site strategy is maddeningly - there are people who can make it work, but not the majority.

Take a look in the War Room. A while back I used a guide in there about Amazon. Also Jan Roo's, Wolfiiman and Chaz Cooper have WSO's on Amazon. Not sure how current they are.
It would pay to use the search button, find some of the free advice they have posted in threads on the forum.

Some people start off with a lot of sales on Amazon others don't. I would rather build something long term over time, than get spanked by Google and loose everything. Hoping to make a lot of money in less than six months depends on a lot of factors. It may take more than a year to get a top site in place, with steady income from amazon.

Jan Roos. I think his Amazon course The Physical Affiliate is from 2011 so isn't up to date now.

Gaz Cooper. No one posts in the AMZ Training Academy forum. There are no posts in the main forum this year. I don't think it's being updated. It's probably due to the high price of $37/month. Most people probably don't want to pay that month after month once they've watched all the training videos.

Wolfmmi. His strategy may work, but posting newly released products without backlinks seems to be a tiresome task with little reward. Some would rank obviously, but not enough.

Second vote for Erica Stone. She is an absolute authority on this area. Not only do her products include tried and true methods for absolute beginners, but she's also got an updated product leveraging social media to drive traffic to your affiliate links.

Check out Chris Jones. He is the author of several WSO's on Amazon, the Amazon Kickstart series of WSO's. These are video driven WSO's where he walks you through the steps to get up and running. I have several of these WSO's and they are very good. He also provides done-for-you Amazon review sites if that is something you might be interested in.

Erica Stone is another one. I don't have any of her products but I have seen many positive reviews on WF about her products so that would be the other person to check out.

    Good Luck

Alexander Shelton talks about product comparison sites.

Honestly, I am inclined to believe that if you want to be successful in Amazon you cannot focus on single product conversions.

Amazon works well when you can sustain a high load of buyers. It is easier to attain this load if you do product comparison because you are giving visitors a choice.

If you are making a full-time income pitching a few amazon products, than you can easily make 5x that selling a product on clickbank which makes the conversion easier.

Which is the way forward? Sign up for Amazon Associate first then build the website, or the other way round? The Amazon sign up is not that straightforward.

Generally you will need to have a legitimate site up first before setting up the associate account.

Not really an issue so long as it is clean and not spammy. Besides you are going to need that site anyway arn't you?

You should check out ninja reviews by Erica Stone. One of the most comprehensive guides I've came accross so far. Here's the link to her WSO:
