Looking for a good domain hosting company

Hi All,

Which is a good domain hosting company other than godaddy, gator

and interms of price, types of support application code language(e.g. php & asp.net, asp), applications available like fantasia, forums installation, etc,
number of emails given (e.g. unlimited emails userids, or limited to a certain amount of userids)
and also how many emails can be sent out per email message and per day email sent out limits.

As if i were to host my own auto responder application, i need to take care of the above mentioned issue first. I know godaddy have this issue.

And also if the hosting company has firewall protection?

I've been with bluehost.com for a couple of weeks and so far so good.
I like their cpanel, I have control over everything.

Any comments, i was impressed by all the full marks scored by Lunarpages

Hostgator all the way, and namecheap for domains.

You can use this guide to see how you can transfer them.

But if you only need hosting for 1 domain, you won't need it. If you have more (Say... Babycroc account like myself =P) it's a cost effective way, as well as it's really fast.

I definately recommend hostgator. Best support ever, as well as the product is top notch.

Hostgator has it all. You will get all you need for a website, even in the most basic plans.

And if you search around in the WF, you will find that most people use Hostgator here as well.
And again, their support system is the best I have ever seen. They get a commission based on your rating of the reply, so you can say they are motivated to help you any time

Between Lunarpages.com and Hostgator.com which hosting company do you think is better for IM ?

and also does Lunarpages has Cron job ?

For me it is bluehost all the way.

It is worth checking out, cost is good and lots of extras. Unlimited mail addresses, host up to 2500 domain names.
