Hello Everyone:

Interested in your opinion:

Would you recommend getting Amember to implement a shopping cart and affiliate program, or would you use Fantasos.

Some of you, I know use ejunkie and Rapid Action profits.

I am interested in your personal experience.

I am going to make decision this weekend.

Hey Charles,

As you are well aware, I am a huge fan of Rapid Action Profits, and
have been using that script almost from its inception. I also use e-junkie
when I post in various venues, as a quick and easy way to sell products
without worrying about list building, affiliates, OTO's, etc.

I just got the free Delavo, so can't comment hugely on it. Found the
hosted version of Fantasos hard to grasp without the manuals (LOL).
The D/F software is powerful, no doubt... And I may pursue the Delavo
option more, in the future.

Again though, Rapid Action Profits, with its Add-on architecture (much
like the Delavo plug-ins) can do quite a lot. And, at a significantly lower
cost. I have seen some very "creative" implementations of the RAP script
in action, and found out about those implementations at the active
support forum...

I can't speak about amember, but have heard good things about it...

Have you made your choice yet?

If not, I am 100% saying Delavo - it is what I use and have used Fantasos and JVManager before it.

I respect ECS Dave's post and cannot really comment on the other choices as I don't use them.

If you don't have Delavo, you will get another chance as part of John's promotion on the 29th of this month through his Delaverian Marketing offering.

Those two together will give you 2/3 of everything you need (the other 1/3 being Turbo Membership - which probably will not be available again after the end of this month).

Hi Brian, I'm a new member of WF. I'm researching delavo and find Your post in WF. From what I read I feel that You know about delavo very good.

I've researched about software with membership affiliate software and end up with 2 choice - delavo or RAP.

RAP is more cheaper and it seems has same functionality with delavo. BUT then I find poll result in WF that shows that delavo is better significantly.

If I check in alexa, RAP looks like more popular with higher alexa ranking.

MY QUESTION IS:

• What is the main different between delavo & RAP? If the main strength of delavo is at "CENTRALIZATION", does RAP have it also?
• Why should I choose delavo which is the plugin (F1.18 package) far more expensive than RAP? (I will buy it if it is far more better eventhough it is very expensive)
• If I decide to get delavo, can I get free core version with license from you? Are You a delavo's ambassador? Of course I will then buy the plugind from your links.

I'm looking for your reply.

Hi Leesoes,

I'm afraid I cannot give a fair comparison between Delavo and RAP as I have not reviewed RAP.

What I can tell you is that I have used Delavo (Fantasos, JVManager) for many years and had little or no need to look at other scripts, I understand how to get things done with it and (luckily) have all the released plugins.

Yes I am a Delavo Ambassador and can happily supply the core version to you - just drop me a P.M. and I will point you in the right direction.

I think that's what's probably going to decide for most what works "best" overall is what ppl are used to... i was on a system that was created years ago and thought htat was the best, then when i looked elsewhere i decided to make a change to RapidActionProfits due to the fact of it's extremely flexibility when i want it to be - and yet turnkey - 5-10 min. setup to sella product without much work that is, when I just do a plr (not selling my own wares lol).

Now that RAP has Membership Plus, Rapid Action Press, Paypal Subscriptions, it gets all of my attention as these are the core modules that I *here it comes* personally needed (while maintaining ULTIMATE (not dependent on someone else's development speed/process) control over the process).

RAP is what i use now, 100% - but sometimes even the most favored, arently always the 'best' . But it's 'what werx to get the job done' , and done well.

I own MemberSpeed (previously called something else that started with a "C" - cannot recall), JV Fantasos, Amember, even LFM - and tried them all a lot over previous years... (not JV Fantasos as much tho - hate to admit - should dug in more maybe) but when I found RAP - it was like having my proverbial "cake and eating it too!"

I originally got a license for Fantasos when it was released, but I could never wrap my head around it. It seems to do everything indirectly. And it's awfully complicated for doing simple stuff.

I was very happy with DLGuard for direct sales. I used it and Butterfly Marketing script.

But when RAP was released, I gravitated towards it because I've always liked the "instant commission" model that it embraces. (I was messing around with the $7 Secrets Script when I learned of RAP's initial release. I grabbed a copy of RAP and haven't looked back.)

The biggest issues I've had with RAP initially have been resolved with the evolution of different addons, like Bill mentions above.

You can try to claim that RAP + Addons are relatively expensive, until you consider that the licenses are for UNLIMITED DOMAINS that you own. Virtually all other scripts charge on a PER DOMAIN or PER SITE basis.

If you only want one or two sites, then it might not be the most economical. But more than that and the initial costs are far outweighed by the ongoing savings. Not to mention that you get free updates for everything.

I'm moving most of my stuff over to RAP + Wordpress. It's a killer combination!

Hi Brian,

I'm still considering between RAP & delavo. In my opinion, centralization can be plus point for ease of management.

BUT it also can be weak point because if the server crash / down, ALL of our websites will not work properly (order link, payment, etc.).

How do you anticipate it using delavo?

I've tried delavo hosting & I like for it's ease of use, but I'm thinking about that issue THAT will not happened if I choose RAP.

I personally haven't try RAP, so if anybody here have experience using both products, please share each product's PROS & CONS.

Hi every body,

Here's what i want to do:

I want someone who have a product can apply their product to be sold through my website using a form (product's owner as my JV)

I will recruit affiliates to sell that other people products

Then when someone buy through affiliate link - the affiliate, me, and the product's owner get commissions with the percentage that I've set.


Which one can I use to do that - RAP OR DELAVO?

Can I use delavo's JV products plugin to do that?

What's the difference between RAP member plus & Rapid Action Press. Since You are the man behind RAP Membership Plus I believe I will get better understanding about RAP memberplus from You.

Another question:

• I want to make a membership site as my front end product which I will promote my another products in that membership site (as back end products)
• Every people that sign up as member can sign up to be an affiliate.
• The affiliates only need to sign up once as affiliate of my membership site (front end product) and will get commissions every time people they refer as new member of that membership site buy backend products anytime (not only in OTO or downsell).

Which one do you think is the best to do that? RAP memberplus or Rapid Action Press?

I've researched DELAVO & RAP and also read your explanation.

One more thing I want to know about delavo is: (because I heard that delavo can set 100% commissions for affiliate, BUT the payment is not sent directly to affiliate account like 7$script do)

Can I set delavo so my affiliate get instant payment (a percentage or all payment) directly to their paypal account for every purchase made through their affiliate links JUST LIKE 7$ SCRIPT.

For example:

If I set affiliate commissions 75%, then when someone buy through affiliate link, the payment split automatically & directly to my paypal account 25% and to my affiliate paypal account 75%.

Or if I can't do that,

Can I set 100% for my affiliate BUT sent DIRECTLY to their paypal account (like 7$script)?

If I can do that using delavo, I’m interested to get delavo from you.
