Hey Claire, you say that you have been doing internet marketing for approx 10 now... are you still with those programs?

Or are you looking for something completely different?

The one thing with these programs is that it does take a lot of work. And the number one skill to acquire is to have a very strong mindset.

I realise that you point out that your results have been disappointing however have you pinned down reasons for this?

Totally agree with Grace

It's best to start with that very strong mindset that will keep you stay motivated in achieving your goals.

Indeed, you need to have a root cause analysis why those coaching programs you had didn't work and understand what you really need. Maybe after that you can share it here so warriors can give you the best advice you're looking for.

I'd caution against paying good money for guru style tuition or coaching.

I did exactly that, paid heaps, and what has worked better for me by far has been the following very simple system that you can have here for free...

Are you ready Claire?

You can see it's nothing flash. It doesn't need to be.

1) Create a 10 or 12 page report that offering something
of value in your niche. Must be of high interest.
(This is your freebie)

2) Create a 20 - 30 page book that solves "one" specific problem
in your market/niche (This will be your paid product)

3) Set up Squeeze Page to generate leads (put freebie on sq page)

4) Set up a Sales Page selling the Paid Product for $7 to build a
buyers list (Because remember, a lead is not a customer -
and until they become one, they're not helping you to be successful)

5) Drive traffic to the Squeeze Page. Redirect opt-ins to
the Sales Page

6) As subscribers Buy your paid product, segment
them onto 2 lists i.e. 1) leads 2) customers

7) Set up and send an Auto Responder follow up sequence of
emails to your 'leads' with links to your 'paid' product, and
segment anyone who buys onto your 'customer' list

8) Have a customer list set up where you ask them what their
pressing problems are (based on answers, you promote similar
affiliate products and create your own related product)

9) After your next Paid Product is released, you continually sell
that to your 'customer' list and segment those buyers onto
another list

10) In this way, you just keep refining your sales funnel.
Creating and promoting products, and segmenting your
customers along the way from a low priced product, up
to a high priced product

And that's it...

If you've done this right and your products offer real and
useful value to your buyers, you'll have no problem being
a successful internet marketer.

I think the reason people don't follow this simple formula must
be because they want to see obstacles that might occur further
into this strategy, rather than trying to understand that you
evolve and get better with the process as time progresses.

I'd bet a pound to a penny you're already smarter than many
of the most successful marketers out there Claire.

But you'll really struggle to reach their levels of achievement
if you fail to grasp this simple concept...

As long as you know you have the potential, and you
keep pushing this simple strategy every single day...
it's inevitable you'll find success.

I don't want to go into too much detail about the programs that didnt work for me because I don't want to 'bad-mouth' those gurus.. It may simply be that the product we created didn't particularly interest potential buyers!

I have a very strong mind-set & im determined to succeed. I just need someone to point me in the right direction & ill run for miles!

PCH, Can i ask? Whats the best method for product creation? Should i use PLR stuff & re-write these or hire someone to create a new product from scratch?

Yes you can use PLR for product creation. Don't just use it out the box though. You should rebrand it completely (oh heck - I've just told all this to someone else - lol).

If you're interested, I'm happy to PM you a link to a video I did showing you how to rebrand PLR to get a totally new and 'you' product. Just PM me to tell me you want it and I'll send it by return. I don't like just assuming folks want stuff and sending it them anyway. Hope that makes sense.

PCH is spot on with his solution.

Internet Marketing is not some complex mathematical equation! It's about being creating a long term strategy on paper - then putting that strategy into action bit by bit. (Don't always expect success! There have been many a projects Ive undertaken that have failed....but if you keep at it, you'll be rewarded!)

I recommended visiting different forums in your chosen niche & writing down exactly what common problems folk are experiencing - then develop your product around providing a solution that problem.

Once done, you just need to formulate a plan for driving traffic to your page...

  It's authored by Steve Grey who spends 0.5 to 1 million dollars a month on traffic and Andre Chaperon who is acknowledge as being one of the best email marketers around.
  The cost is £49 monthly for seven months. You get weekly lessons, which cover everything. Please read the comments below each lesson, Andre & Steve provide some great answers and insights.
  The course teaches how to find groups of customers, rather than products, which comes later.
  The course ends with two case studies,one a winner and one a loser. Both are great learning experiences.

Hi Claire

I divide the programs into 3 types
- single payment
- recurring payment (all for the purchasers benefit - apart from the usual affiliate commission)
- recurring payment (where the person who recommends me gets their affiliate commission plus another cut on my efforts).

There's 2 people I recommend without hesitation who will teach you the ropes (but after that is is up to you to decide your niche and create your product, or decide who to affiliate for).

They are:

Chris Farrell - who has a recurring monthly fee - he teaches you from scratch
Jo Barnes - she currently has an 8 week program to earn a 6 figure income (for a one time fee)

I am going to tell you something from my experience and i wish i would have found this without wasting 3 years and lot of money.

Just name it and I might have purchased every promising course, membership & WSO's that appeared in last 3 years. Basically fundamentals are same to succeed in internet marketing and at the end of the day it comes down to focus on one thing and generate result.

Please take one thing and commit to it until you have generated some result. Once you generate result than you can scale it, automate it and branch to something different. This seems simple but it takes lot of discipline to achieve this but once you have minimum of results it becomes whole lot easier to scale.

Second most important thing is that you don't need to re-invent the wheel and just follow someone who has already done what you want to achieve. Now key is to find someone who preaches what he teaches. In my case luckily I found a mentor who has private fib group, this guy and his private fb group is simply awesome. Where everyone works on develop the right mindset and help each other doing the same rather than focusing on next SEO loophole to make some quick bucks.

It all comes down to mindset, believe and focusing on one thing until results are generated. And you got to surround yourself with the people with right mindset.

You aren't going to buy into one program and come out of it prepared for a new career. There are a great deal of programs claiming they can do that for you, but 100% of them are scams in that regard.

First things first...... what exactly do you want to do? The term "internet marketing" covers a wide variety of activities.

I don't think that ant program work itself - it's us who work hard to make that program work for us.
I am sorry to say but when people look at some programs/ebooks/coaching etc etc and then they think that it will not work for them; they give up instantly without even trying any program and later people come and complain of programs.
If you haven't taken action on anything, then one shouldn't complain.

IM is so big and there are tons of Ebooks/coachings/programs/platforms/methods that work, the only need to benefit from them is to take action.
No matter how easy something is, if you don't take action on it, it won't work.
