PPC Bully 2 - Inside Look

Have you tried PPC Bully 2 yet? Are you happy with it? Here's what I think.

PPC Bully is basically the same as GCD but with less data. The filter tools are quite useful, but so far I haven't seen much data to filter. They promised tons of bonuses on the sales page, but on the inside, there are no bonuses. All they have is a coming soon page? What is up with that. I just paid over $1500 for a tool only to find a coming soon page? Ummm, correct me if I am wrong, but that's false advertising. Don't launch if your tools are not ready. Another issue I was concerned about is how would one ever discover Clickbank products since the URLs are now encrypted. This doesn't appear to be fixed because PPC Bully 2 does not return hardly any affiliate results. It does however return a few clickbank links, but I think they are from affiliates that just haven't upgraded their links yet.

Initially they said they were closing down in 12 hours and only allowing 1000 people, but now it has been open for several days, way over the 12 hours. So what happened? Was this a sales pitch or maybe they just couldn't get enough buyers.

So far I haven't found any data that's going to make me rich. I've learned how to do good keyword research over the past year because I studied hard and took as many PPC courses as I could. Although tools like PPC Bully and GCD can give you good keywords up front, there is no magic solution to making money. Google is getting more strick with their rules. Just because you find a good keyword, it doesn't mean anything. It takes a good landing page, creative marketing strategies, a good quality score, campaign history, testing and much more.

Copying campaigns doesn't mean instant success, nor does it mean you personally will make any money. In the GCD and PPC Bully launch, they try to show sales using their methods, but there are so many factors involved to converting sales. If you know nothing about tracking and testing, all I can say is have a nice walk down poverty lane.

If you are going to buy into any of these tools, GCD or PPC, you better have your own products to sell. Using this data to sell affiliate products will not render an inflow of sales right off the bat. I've found that with good testing and tracking of keywords and starting small is just as good as anything. How did all the Super Affiliates get rich before all these paid tools came out onto the market?

Before I write an entire book, all I can say is, if you are a newbie, you shouldn't be buying these tools without learning what real affiliate marketing is all about. There is never a fast track to riches. The search engines are so complex these days and you need to learn the hardcore basics before you spend wads of cash on expensive paid tools. If you making 10k a month and want an extra tool to fast track a few things, then get these tools, but not until you can afford it. There is nothing like learning how to test, track and do proper keyword research. If you are going to spend a dime on anything, spend it on education and learn how to do things the right way.

A few products I highly recommend for education, is
  • PPC Classroom
  • Clickbank Code
  • Launch Tree
  • Get More Buyers
  • Marketing Success in a Month

I didn't realize until it was pointed out. Yeah, that is kinda weird. I don't want people to think I am him though, that could get ugly.

I have both PPC Bully 2.0 and GCD. I'm not thrilled with either. Good thing there's a 30 day money back guarantee.

PPC Bully 2.0 has a far superior interface. Being able to filter and sort by search volume, profitability index (basically how long ads have been running), etc. is the best way to find potential targets.

But they do seem to have fewer keywords and ads than I would've expected. I can't find many of my own ads for example. And entire niches I wanted to target aren't present.

So the interface is good at finding what information is there, and it can only improve as more information gets gathered.

GCD's interface is too basic to be of use.

PPC Bully added the bonuses to the site today, as well as upgraded some of their servers to improve the search speed. With a $500k influx from the launch sales, maybe things will improve. I'm going to give them the next 3 weeks, and make a real effort at using the information I can get out of it. If I can find a way to make it worthwhile then I'll continue using it, otherwise the guarantee's going to get called in and I'll cancel.

At $2000 for GCD and $1500 for PPC Bully, I expected more from both their databases.

And as ebuyer123 said... ?! Chris, why are you reviewing these products when one of them is yours?

    Maybe.

But only the few hundred people using these tools have the data that some particular ad has been running the past 153 days on a high volume search. They know that ad must be converting (or it'd have been pulled due by now) while the one above it is brand new and you have no idea if it works.

The purpose of these tools is to tell you which ads are converting.

      Correct me if I'm wrong.

I guess the super super affiliates know how to hide and protect their ppc campaigns. So, what we are seeing from these tools are not everything.

I tried a few searches for some products, the returned results were "0". It can't right?

These tools scrape Google search results hourly and save the ads that show up. Nobody can simultaneously advertise on Google and hide from these sites. It's just a matter of whether what you're searching for shows up on one of the ~2 million keywords they claim to scrape. That's actually a lot less than it sounds like.

The problem with GCD & PPCBully, is that they are just an ADDED tool that will take you the time to learn & is just another add-on for something you haven't even done.

The main issue is this on both products. Neither of the products provide a step by step method of what the OWNERS themselves do on a DAILY BASIS w/ these products. Don't get me wrong, they may "say" the provide step-by-step videos & such, but honestly, it's only half-truths & half-assed answers.

What would be beneficial is to put the people in a FULL UNFILTERED week with PPCBully or GCD. An hour by hour, day by day, week by week basis of the following:
    1. How they system is used on a daily basis.
    2. How much they spend to get the results they are getting on daily/monthly basis.
    3. What additional resources they are using: Whether it's software, employees, research.

These 3 things are missing from both products. These items are necessary, so that you can then develop your own methods & take what is being done, to ensure not only if it works, but also do your own methods to be able to innovate & make it better.
Becuase they do not offer this, you end up fumbling around for months & months, and waste not only time but also money.
Think about it for a moment......Absolutely NEITHER of these products talks about or explains the potential costs that have to be incurred to achieve the results they have.

But they do offer you something better......more education....or shall I say MORE products to purchase. So, I digress, they may not tell you what costs to incur, but they damn well point you in the right direction to have to pay more, spend more time, listening to more crap, just to hold you back....

    For example.........
A few products I highly recommend for education, is
    • PPC Classroom --- monthly fee
    • Clickbank Code -- monthly fee
    • Launch Tree -- one time, plus monthly fee
    • Get More Buyers -one time- sometimes free-plus monthly fee hidden somewhere
    • Marketing Success in a Month -- A month? please, you know there some monthly fee extra in there.....
So let's think about it.......after all these costs & monthly fees, besides your cell phone, DSL line, cable TV, gas, rent/mortage, potential credit card bills, student loans, Friday night club, weekly getaway from it all & beer w/ ya buddies.......

At what point does the monthly fees get you to making the money you are supposed to be making?

I mean, really.....if GCD & PPCBULLY, the owners used it & making X amount of dollars, then it should be absolutely no problem to show the actual niche & a day by day scenario of what they OR there employees (the people who are actually really doing the work anyway) to ensure their customers the either product actually works.

But hey, I may be wrong in all this......maybe they do work......?? Does anyone disagree with me?

      templarjustice,

I totally agree with everything you are saying. All your points are completely valid. I personally bought PPC Bully 2.0 mostly to compare it to GCD which I purchased when it launched. Honestly I think you may have a new product idea brewing. I think a few of us Warriors who have bought these tools should team up and create various scenarios using these tools. Since I am launching PPC campaigns every week, I'd be more than willing to partner up with anyone and do a day by day review of how things actually work. I sorta have a little stategy with PPC bully 2.0 which I started using the last couple days. I think it would actually be quite fun to make some videos showing a day by day progression using these tools in various niches.

One of the bonuses included with PPC Bully 2.0 is a keyword hotlist. We can use the exact tools they give us and prove one way or another if they work or don't work. Whether I make money or lose money with PPC Marketing, I still do it on a daily and weekly basis, so why not record all of it? Actually I think I will start tonight.

Let me know if anyone here is willing and open to recording their videos of setting up PPC campaigns and documenting everything step by step. I'm open to setting up a private blog for us, to post videos too. We can invite other Warriors to see our success or progress with password protected posts. Just shoot me a PM and we'll get something started.

Have you not guessed yet that all the IM products are meant to make the creator money, not you? The less you buy and the more you do, the better for you.

Well said. During the gold rush in California no one panning for gold got rich. The folks who got rich were the people selling supplies to the miners. Eggs were selling for $2 each. We are now in the internet marketing gold rush. Be careful which 'supplies' you buy, watch out for those $2 eggs.
