A guy named Klinton Wheeler from Russell Brunson's office called me pitching me hard about their coaching program. Let me tell you right away "STAY AWAY". I own a credit restoration company and have about 8 telemarketers that speak to mortgage professionals and Realtors all day long. I've trained them on how to sell over the phone without being pushy. It does work! Although this character from Brunson's office was a tool. He kept telling me that I'm leaving money on the table, that I needed to imagine what financial security would be like, and that I needed to give him a commitment before he would tell me about the program. I told him that I would need to do my due diligence and that I can't make a 5k to 8.5K deal over one call. He started to get frustrated and tell me that he was busy! I run a freaking company and he's busy? Anyway, he said that he got my information from Mike Filsaime which really pisses me off. I'm in the process of trying to contact Mike office to let them know about their tactics. The 1 1/2 hour call ended like this: He told me that he is going to sleep well tonight and that he was going to have fun mountain biking this weekend. He said that I'll be in the same spot that I'm in tomorrow. I told him to put Russell on the phone and he said that Russell was too busy to talk to me. That's when I told him that I wasn't too busy to talk to my potential clients. These guys are a bunch of stupid kids that got rich on the internet and have no phone etiquette. BEWARE! Oh, not to mention that they have 12 complaints with the Better Business Bureau. |

I've gotten calls from call centers for some of the "big dawgs" coaching programs and the guys actually doing the calls are morons to say the least. They are pushy, disrespectful, and all around assholes (excuse my language). I can't believe any respectable marketer would let some of these people represent them. |

I'm only commenting about the BBB. Crooks. Thieves. Liars. I wouldn't trust the BBB as far as I can throw them. Never, ever take anything they say, report, etc. as truth. Do your research, see how and why the BBB was really started - and you'll discover the scam that is the BBB. I've known salespeople for the BBB - who can get you in no matter how dirty your company is --- while clean companies get locked out. Non-governmental agency with no real power - only making money by charging companies "Membership Fees". One of the biggest scams - that pretends to be a governmental agency with some clout. Stay away from them as far as you can. |

My experience with Russell has always been good. I got credit and refunds as requested. When one runs a company with many employees, you can NOT judge the whole company based on one experience, with one employee. |

Ok, I am well into the coaching program and I must say I am glad I went for it. I have learned a great deal just in my coaching sessions and I have not even started using the CD's DVD's and Books that come with the course. I expect an awesome launch when I have my product complete. With everything I have learned it would be hard to understand anyone would bash this course. Russell Hit a Homerun with me... I know the program is not cheep but I feel the quality is in this course. |

OK, so it's been a couple weeks since you last updated. Do you still have the same positive thoughts about the coaching program? How's your one-on-one phone coaching going? Are you able to contact them at any time and get a response? If you care to share, has the program started to pay for itself with increased conversions? How long is the program? Sorry to ask so many questions but I'm considering a coaching program myself and would like to find out if this is worth the $$$. Thanks for passing along the info, |

I planned to sign up for the coaching program but when they guy called I had a huge problem, in that my 5 year old was kicking off and the AlphaAV was on my pc crashing everything. I kept saying to the guy it would have to wait until I sorted the situation and I would speak to him later / next day. All he did was keep demading the long number on my credit card which really annoyed me. That was 2 weeks ago. The other sales guy (who did the initial ground work) called me tonight (I am in UK) and wanted to progress things. I told him that I would not take things further with the coaching program as I didnt like the manner of the previous call. He kept saying that Mr Greenwood would not have spoken to me like that and could I be mistaken. He then got really stroppy and said that 1 bad encounter should not put me off the whole company and hung up on me. How bad was that, I am a Micro Continuity program subscriber, I have one of their instant micro continuity program sites. both of which i am VERY happy with. I just didnt like the forceful pushy manipulative sales strategy they used and to work with them on the coaching program would not fit with my personal values and beliefs. I would never speak badly to a client, hang up on them for FORCE sales pitch to them. I consider this to be hightly unprofessional. Their sales pitch goes along the lines (very forcefully) of max out your credit cards (all of them) and work your butt off and you should see at least see a return on your investment. Does Russell Brunson know what is going on? Aly |

I just finished the the coaching last week. You only get 10 coaching calls made 1 per week. The coaching lesson I bought was called the protege package. It cost $5,000.00 and yes I did receive mp3 player, 3 ring binder with a couple of hundred pages, many videos and access to the dotcom website. My 1st problem was the criteria of finding a niche. It was like find a niche with 1,000 searches a day with lots of products for sale with a minimal amount of strong seo websites. Warning - DO NOT fall behind here because if you do you will not be able to make your own product and you will have to settle for promoting an affiliate site. After 10 weeks of coaching and $5,000.00 this is what I got out of it. buildasolar-panel.weebly.com All of the content you need to be successful is provided at dotcomsecrets as in most other programs. I think the problem is that they are way to busy and they just rush you through. They have about 7 or 8 coaches but they must have a bunch of customers. I think one of their job qualifications should be the coaches have internet marketing experience. My coach had me learning weebly for 2 1/2 weeks instead of building my product. I even told him that I thought I should outsource my site so that it would work better. He said do not worry about what the site looks like and just worry about the link wheel instead. I am tired of writing now but I had problems from the very beginning (they lost my account) at week one. If you need information on the current week you are on let me know and I can tell you what not to do. Worst thing is I feel like that should give me atleast a partial refund but they said no. |

Do not use Dotcomsecrets The initial phonecall to sell to me was a very hard sell, the guy said he was from Stompernet so was taken in. I was a bit suspicious when the paperwork to sign turned out to be from Dotcomsecrets but thought they were just working together to pull a coaching team in. I'm not stupid, mad or imagine things but they denied the guy who phoned me said he was from Stompernet. This was when I orginally asked for my money back within 2 weeks. Honest to god, I would not of signed up at all if I had known 100% they weren't Stompernet. After being on the net for a few years, I thought this would be ideal as they must of got my details from me joining Stompernet a week before, otherwise I have no idea how they got my home phone number in the UK. The Pretege course which was $5000 (£3000) was not even worth $500. You get a coach once a week talking about different aspects of internet marketing which you can learn here, the 30 Day Challege which is FREE, Stompernet which costs alot less to join and generally common sense. I wish I had not ever ever EVER signed up. I tried to cancel but they again gave me the hard sell saying what I signed was a legal document. Join Stompernet and you can cancel whenever you like within the 30 days. Strikes me that any company mentioning a legal document, knows people will want a refund so need some backup to stop them. Biggest mistake i did within 2009 was to join Dotcomsecrets. All I learnt was I do know more than I thought as they were teaching things I had learnt 2 years ago. At least I am not confident in my abilities. I feel sorry for the people who turn to them to learn when they could spend much less just coming here and any other marketing forum Either way, Happy New Year to all and don't spend out money to learn anything on the net in 2010 Rob |

I signed up for their micro-c course and got 2 weeks of lessons and then nothing. When I cancelled they charged me for another month and then wouldn't refund. Not good business practice. | |

I have also been considering DotComSecrets coaching, but then Mark Joyner has just introduced his Simpleology coaching program. Has anybody signed up for this? Can you share your experience so far?

I love russells's products, however some of his coaching team are just hard core sales men. I when i had problems with one of his product and i called for assistance. A guy called levi or something came up and tried to pitch me on a 3k coaching program. I was already on a 97/month subscription. I was pissed off. |

Russell's information is gold. Everything he promotes seems very genuine and works very well. Nothing but the best to say about Russell's material.

I took this $5,000 coaching and was profoundly disappointed. I had found his other products, free and low-cost, full of value, actually over-delivering. However, my coach was a really nice person, but told me very little I didn't know. Great guy as a person, but that wasn't what I thought I was going to get. It was cookie-cutter advice, plus, what I was doing didn't fit into their mold. I think this was extremely overpriced and the concept of this coaching is only good for a real newbie who doesn't know basics and for someone who fits their structure. My coach did give me a few good ideas along the way, but nothing I could not have found for free. The book is very thick and there are DVDs, so that part is worthwhile. But none of this was worth anywhere near $5,000 to me. I think Brunson has an amazing message and I have found his approach very genuine, so I was shocked and, of course, really upset at having spent all that money for something that wasn't personalized coaching. It's repackaging and you can get this information from Brunson with other products he has for a lot less money. They say they guarantee that you will make back the investment. Well, I didn't. But I wasn't going to go to battle over it, as I didn't do every single thing, so that would probably be their response. Plus, the coach tried to be helpful and was very responsive to questions. So he deserved to be paid for his time. Not trying to bash anyone, but that was my experience and opinion. I still think he's a great resource, but this was one product that, to put it mildly, overpromised and, to put it mildly, under-delivered. |

I thank everyone here for their honest feedback - it's good to read and refereshing to hear some people share what their experience with things has been. I'm doing some due diligence as his current ready made Micro-C site is appealing but I want to know what I'm getting into. So thanks everyone for your honest feedback. Shawn |

Hi Talking about getting these sales calls, I myslef have been getting few in the last year from the famous Internet Marketing Centre. The guy tried to pitch some coaching program which was very pricey and he himself wasn't even sure as to the content of this coaching. These tactics will just backfire on them - just deplorable. I really don't like these over-priced coaching programmes running into many thousands. Maybe we Internet marketers can see through it but I am sure they catch plenty unwary and gullible persons which damage the honest guys. smak |

I had the misfortune of receiving one of these phone calls out of the blue about 12 mths ago. It was a Sunday morning and I was relaxing, so the phone call took me by surprise. I inadvertently said "yes" to more information. The next day I was pressured into signing up. Fortunately I stalled by not signing the contract even though I had handed over my cc details. I bartered and got the course down to a $2K deposit followed by another $1K installment. But I had serious doubts because they wouldn't let me speak to the person who would actually be coaching me. All I got were vague promises that if I didn't like the coach they would replace them for me. All I can say is STAY AWAY. You have no idea what the course materials will be or who it is that is actually going to coach you. |
