Internet.BS Domain Registrar [BAD Registrar]
Hello Warriors,
We typically don't like to give bad reviews although previously I used to recommend this domain registrar and we should update you all on the service at internet.bs
First of all, we had 100s of domains at internet.bs prior because they were one of the cheapest registrar although we have been very disappointed with their services recently.
1) Technical glitches = THIS IS IMPORTANT. They system seems to be really buggy and it can cost you if you're doing something important.
We had one of our domain recently expire (they change your domain to a parking page when you do so) after renewing it promptly it was still displaying the parking page.
So playing around with the DNS to try to update the DNS we ended up updating a different DNS we didn't want to update. why? carelessness?
NO apparently you cannot have more than two tabs open at internet.bs else even when you update the page that says Domain1.com you end up updating Domain2.com with the new DNS
As you can imagine we weren't too please with this. Imagine if you didn't know and your website became down for that period of time affecting your SERPs. It was a gong show trying to fix it until we only used one tab because even when trying to fix it you end up updating the wrong domains again because the page tells you you're editing details for domain1 when you're actually editing domain2 and vise versa.
2) Bad Support: I tried their chat support and it seems as though you were talking to a bot. The responses are really pat answers and the support is not empowered to do much really
3) Bad Account Policy (once again apparently due to their technical limitations): Once you deposit funds into your account you CANNOT use the funds unless you have the EXACT amount. Trying to withdraw the remaining funds doesn't seem to be very helpful so far with various attempts.
This is apparently due to their technical limiations
Recommendation?
Currently as it stands I'd recommend you stay away from internet.bs
We have found namecheap to be a good alternative at the moment.
