Offline Marketing Help
A few months ago, after being layed off from my job I started an offline consulting business.
I've had success selling websites to my offline prospects. Problem is when I try to sell my online marketing services I keep running into a road block that I hope someone can help me with....They want to know who I've worked with in the past and what results I've been able to achieve for past clients.
Because I'm new, I obviously don't have an online marketing portfolio and even though I try to build my credibility through my experience in their industry, my website portfolio, and the team I've assembled to do the marketing, I still get push back. Push back when I'm trying set up an appointment with a new prospect or trying to close the deal because they don't want to work with a startup. It's a catch 22.
So how can I show credibility without having tangible results and get people to give me a shot?
