I'll recommend Double Digit CTR (no affiliation): Pay-Per-Click Get Double Digit Click Thru Rates with PPC Campaigns Its written by a fellow warrior and actually pretty good. Simple to understand and apply. It's helped several of my friends who do article marketing to consider PPC and feel that they can actually make a go of it without becoming adwords roadkill (no actual results yet though). |

ComBlue had some decent adwords guides, probably good if you're starting out.
